Samantha Markle podnijela je tužbu u četvrtak na Floridi i optužuje polusestru Meghan za klevetu "na temelju očito lažnih i zlonamjernih izjava" koje je vojvotkinju od Sussexa dala u intervjuu Oprah Winfrey prošle godine. Samantha, koja s vojvotkinjom ima zajedničkog oca Thomasa Marklea, tvrdi da su Meghanine navodne laži "smišljene da unište njezinu reputaciju" i da su je podvrgle "poniženju, sramoti i mržnji u svjetskim razmjerima", navode dokumenti do kojih je došao Fox News.

U dokumentima do kojih je stigao TMZ, Samantha je ljuta zbog spinovanja i priče od “krpa do kraljevske porodice” jer su navodi jednostavno lažni. Samantha kaže da je to verzija koju je vlastita sestra izmislila kako bi sve uvjerila da je odrasla u siromaštvu i da sve što ima dobiva zahvaljujući sebi. Samantha tvrdi i da je Tomas platio da Meghan pohađa “elitne i skupe privatne škole” te satove plesa i glume. Tvrdi da je otac pokrivao Meghaninu školarinu i troškove života kada je išla na Sveučilište Northwestern… nešto za što je vojvotkinja rekla Oprah da je sama plaćala svojim radom.
Samantha tvrdi i da je Meghan izrekla još jednu laž kad je rekla da ju je posljednji put vidjela prije najmanje 18, 19 godina, a kasnije je izjavila da je u pitanju deset godina.
I to nisu sve laži u kojima je sestra "uhvatila" Meghan. Samantha, naime, tvrdi i da je Meghan lagala kada je izjavila da je Samantha promijenila prezime u Markle tek nakon što je ona počela izlaziti s Harryjem.

U dokumentima do kojih je stigao TMZ, Samantha je ljuta zbog spinovanja i priče od “krpa do kraljevske porodice” jer su navodi jednostavno lažni. Samantha kaže da je to verzija koju je vlastita sestra izmislila kako bi sve uvjerila da je odrasla u siromaštvu i da sve što ima dobiva zahvaljujući sebi. Samantha tvrdi i da je Tomas platio da Meghan pohađa “elitne i skupe privatne škole” te satove plesa i glume. Tvrdi da je otac pokrivao Meghaninu školarinu i troškove života kada je išla na Sveučilište Northwestern… nešto za što je vojvotkinja rekla Oprah da je sama plaćala svojim radom.
Samantha tvrdi i da je Meghan izrekla još jednu laž kad je rekla da ju je posljednji put vidjela prije najmanje 18, 19 godina, a kasnije je izjavila da je u pitanju deset godina.
I to nisu sve laži u kojima je sestra "uhvatila" Meghan. Samantha, naime, tvrdi i da je Meghan lagala kada je izjavila da je Samantha promijenila prezime u Markle tek nakon što je ona počela izlaziti s Harryjem.

Samantha Markle podnijela je tužbu u četvrtak na Floridi i optužuje polusestru Meghan za klevetu "na temelju očito lažnih i zlonamjernih izjava" koje je vojvotkinju od Sussexa dala u intervjuu Oprah Winfrey prošle godine. Samantha, koja s vojvotkinjom ima zajedničkog oca Thomasa Marklea, tvrdi da su Meghanine navodne laži "smišljene da unište njezinu reputaciju" i da su je podvrgle "poniženju, sramoti i mržnji u svjetskim razmjerima", navode dokumenti do kojih je došao Fox News.
