Stručnjaci su utvrdili da se složenost gesta nezadovoljstva okusom kelja povećala kod fetusa od 32. do 36. tjedna, ali ne i kod onih koji su "uzeli" mrkvu, što pokazuje da "uplakano lice" postaje sve složenije kako beba sazrijeva. Ovo otkriće podupire koncept da fetusi pokazuju složena motorička ponašanja povezana s plakanjem i da se takva ponašanja povećavaju s gestacijskom dobi, piše portal Stav.

Laboratorij za istraživanje fetusa i novorođenčadi na Univerzitetu Durham (UK) pokazala je kako fetusi reagiraju na okus hrane koju jedu njihove majke. Do sada je bilo poznato samo da prehrana trudnica izlaže bebe raznim okusima u testovima koji su provođeni nakon rođenja. Međutim, kako je objavljeno u časopisu ‘Psychological Science‘, sada je dobiven prvi direktan dokaz fetalne reakcije lica na okuse prenesene s majke.

Ovaj test je postao prva longitudinalna studija koja pokazuje da su fetusi sposobni prenatalno detektirati kemosenzorne informacije koje prenose spojevi okusa koji potiču iz majčine prehrane.

U eksperimentu je sudjelovalo 100 trudnica, u dobi između 18 i 40 godina, iz sjeverozapadne Engleske, tijekom 32. i 36. tjedna trudnoće. Žene su dobile kapsulu praha mrkve ili kelja, a 20 minuta kasnije podvrgnute su 4D ultrazvuku kako bi se provjerila reakcija fetusa na te okuse. Kako bi se izbjegle promjene u rezultatima, žene nisu jele niti pile hranu s mrkvom ili kupusom na dan eksperimenta i nisu jele ništa sat vremena prije eksperimenta.

Rezultat je bio da su se fetusi koji su bili izloženi okusu mrkve nasmiješili, dok su fetusi čije su majke uzele kelj napravile "uplakano lice", u usporedbi s kontrolnom grupom koja nije bila izložena nikakvom okusu.

Osim toga, nalazi ove studije imaju važne implikacije za razumijevanje sposobnosti fetusa da osjeti i razlikuje različite okuse, kao i za razumijevanje preferencija okusa nakon rođenja. Na taj način ponovljena prenatalna izloženost okusu može utjecati na kratkoročne i dugoročne postnatalne sklonosti hrani.

Amnionska tekućina je prvo mjesto gdje fetusi počinju osjećati svoj okoliš, posebno svoj kemijski okoliš. Ovo iskustvo pruža kontinuirane senzorne informacije, kao što su okus i miris, od fetalnog do neonatalnog života.

Prema stručnjacima, okusni pupoljci ljudskih fetusa razvijaju se anatomski u 8. sedmici trudnoće i mogu detektirati okuse od 14. sedmice. Osim toga, nosnice su otvorene kako bi amnionska tekućina mogla pristupiti olfaktornim senzornim neuronima, koji mogu detektirati aktivne molekule iz 24 sedmice trudnoće. Dakle, iako se nastavljaju razvijati anatomski i funkcionalno nakon rođenja, fetalni kemosenzori dovoljno su zreli da detektiraju okuse i mirise amnionske tekućine u zadnjem tromjesečju trudnoće, objavio je Stav.

Stručnjaci su utvrdili da se složenost gesta nezadovoljstva okusom kelja povećala kod fetusa od 32. do 36. tjedna, ali ne i kod onih koji su "uzeli" mrkvu, što pokazuje da "uplakano lice" postaje sve složenije kako beba sazrijeva. Ovo otkriće podupire koncept da fetusi pokazuju složena motorička ponašanja povezana s plakanjem i da se takva ponašanja povećavaju s gestacijskom dobi, piše portal Stav.

Laboratorij za istraživanje fetusa i novorođenčadi na Univerzitetu Durham (UK) pokazala je kako fetusi reagiraju na okus hrane koju jedu njihove majke. Do sada je bilo poznato samo da prehrana trudnica izlaže bebe raznim okusima u testovima koji su provođeni nakon rođenja. Međutim, kako je objavljeno u časopisu ‘Psychological Science‘, sada je dobiven prvi direktan dokaz fetalne reakcije lica na okuse prenesene s majke.

Ovaj test je postao prva longitudinalna studija koja pokazuje da su fetusi sposobni prenatalno detektirati kemosenzorne informacije koje prenose spojevi okusa koji potiču iz majčine prehrane.

U eksperimentu je sudjelovalo 100 trudnica, u dobi između 18 i 40 godina, iz sjeverozapadne Engleske, tijekom 32. i 36. tjedna trudnoće. Žene su dobile kapsulu praha mrkve ili kelja, a 20 minuta kasnije podvrgnute su 4D ultrazvuku kako bi se provjerila reakcija fetusa na te okuse. Kako bi se izbjegle promjene u rezultatima, žene nisu jele niti pile hranu s mrkvom ili kupusom na dan eksperimenta i nisu jele ništa sat vremena prije eksperimenta.

Rezultat je bio da su se fetusi koji su bili izloženi okusu mrkve nasmiješili, dok su fetusi čije su majke uzele kelj napravile "uplakano lice", u usporedbi s kontrolnom grupom koja nije bila izložena nikakvom okusu.

Osim toga, nalazi ove studije imaju važne implikacije za razumijevanje sposobnosti fetusa da osjeti i razlikuje različite okuse, kao i za razumijevanje preferencija okusa nakon rođenja. Na taj način ponovljena prenatalna izloženost okusu može utjecati na kratkoročne i dugoročne postnatalne sklonosti hrani.

Amnionska tekućina je prvo mjesto gdje fetusi počinju osjećati svoj okoliš, posebno svoj kemijski okoliš. Ovo iskustvo pruža kontinuirane senzorne informacije, kao što su okus i miris, od fetalnog do neonatalnog života.

Prema stručnjacima, okusni pupoljci ljudskih fetusa razvijaju se anatomski u 8. sedmici trudnoće i mogu detektirati okuse od 14. sedmice. Osim toga, nosnice su otvorene kako bi amnionska tekućina mogla pristupiti olfaktornim senzornim neuronima, koji mogu detektirati aktivne molekule iz 24 sedmice trudnoće. Dakle, iako se nastavljaju razvijati anatomski i funkcionalno nakon rođenja, fetalni kemosenzori dovoljno su zreli da detektiraju okuse i mirise amnionske tekućine u zadnjem tromjesečju trudnoće, objavio je Stav.

Stručnjaci su utvrdili da se složenost gesta nezadovoljstva okusom kelja povećala kod fetusa od 32. do 36. tjedna, ali ne i kod onih koji su "uzeli" mrkvu, što pokazuje da "uplakano lice" postaje sve složenije kako beba sazrijeva. Ovo otkriće podupire koncept da fetusi pokazuju složena motorička ponašanja povezana s plakanjem i da se takva ponašanja povećavaju s gestacijskom dobi, piše portal Stav.

Laboratorij za istraživanje fetusa i novorođenčadi na Univerzitetu Durham (UK) pokazala je kako fetusi reagiraju na okus hrane koju jedu njihove majke. Do sada je bilo poznato samo da prehrana trudnica izlaže bebe raznim okusima u testovima koji su provođeni nakon rođenja.
