Brutalna smrt Georgea Floyda posljednjih tjedana pokrenula je cijeli niz prosvjeda i aktivističkih događanja diljem Amerike i svijeta, a brojnim slavnima i poznatima, koji su na razne načine podržali pokret 'Black Lives Matter', pridružila se i mlada švedska klimatska aktivistica, Greta Thunberg.

Greta Thunberg rekla je da prosvjedi za rasnu jednakost pokazuju da je društvo dostiglo krajnju točku u kojoj se nepravda više ne može zanemariti, a zaključila je i da je je "američka borba za rasnu pravdu nakon smrti Georga Floyda dio borbe protiv klimatskih promjena!"

Osvrćući se na prosvjede koji su posljednjih tjedana preplavili Ameriku i svijet, aktivistica za klimatske promjene za BBC je rekla:

- Osjeća se kao da smo prošli neku vrstu socijalne prekretnice u kojoj ljudi počinju shvaćati da ne možemo nastaviti dalje prelaziti preko ovakvih stvari. Jednostavno se stvari više ne mogu gurati pod tepih. Ljudi napokon počinju shvaćati da podizanje svog glasa u pravu svrhu ima smisla, rekla je Greta.

Pandemija koronavirusa dala joj je nadu pokazujući da su oni koji su na vlasti sposobni djelovati kada se trebaju suočiti s hitnim situacijama, a klimatsku krizu je potrebno tretirati istom hitnošću, rekla je.

Gretin intervju na radiju BBC emitiran je uslijed trenutka kada su se svjetske prijestolnice pripremile za još jedan vikend antirasističkih prosvjeda potaknutih nasilnom smrću nenaoružanog Afroamerikanca.

Podsjetimo Georgea Floyda 25. svibnja 2020. usmrtio je policajac Derek Chauvin, pridržavajući mu koljeno na vratu 8 minuta i 46 sekundi, dok nije potpuno prestao disati. Cijelom je događaju prethodila situacija s lažnom novčanicom od 20 dolara, a nesretni Floyd iza sebe je ostavio neutješnu obitelj, ali i potaknuo mnoge da glasno progovore o rasnim nepravdama i policijskoj brutalnosti koja previše vremena uzima maha bez da biva sankcionirana.

Brutalna smrt Georgea Floyda posljednjih tjedana pokrenula je cijeli niz prosvjeda i aktivističkih događanja diljem Amerike i svijeta, a brojnim slavnima i poznatima, koji su na razne načine podržali pokret 'Black Lives Matter', pridružila se i mlada švedska klimatska aktivistica, Greta Thunberg.

Greta Thunberg rekla je da prosvjedi za rasnu jednakost pokazuju da je društvo dostiglo krajnju točku u kojoj se nepravda više ne može zanemariti, a zaključila je i da je je "američka borba za rasnu pravdu nakon smrti Georga Floyda dio borbe protiv klimatskih promjena!"

Osvrćući se na prosvjede koji su posljednjih tjedana preplavili Ameriku i svijet, aktivistica za klimatske promjene za BBC je rekla:

- Osjeća se kao da smo prošli neku vrstu socijalne prekretnice u kojoj ljudi počinju shvaćati da ne možemo nastaviti dalje prelaziti preko ovakvih stvari. Jednostavno se stvari više ne mogu gurati pod tepih. Ljudi napokon počinju shvaćati da podizanje svog glasa u pravu svrhu ima smisla, rekla je Greta.

Pandemija koronavirusa dala joj je nadu pokazujući da su oni koji su na vlasti sposobni djelovati kada se trebaju suočiti s hitnim situacijama, a klimatsku krizu je potrebno tretirati istom hitnošću, rekla je.

Gretin intervju na radiju BBC emitiran je uslijed trenutka kada su se svjetske prijestolnice pripremile za još jedan vikend antirasističkih prosvjeda potaknutih nasilnom smrću nenaoružanog Afroamerikanca.

Podsjetimo Georgea Floyda 25. svibnja 2020. usmrtio je policajac Derek Chauvin, pridržavajući mu koljeno na vratu 8 minuta i 46 sekundi, dok nije potpuno prestao disati. Cijelom je događaju prethodila situacija s lažnom novčanicom od 20 dolara, a nesretni Floyd iza sebe je ostavio neutješnu obitelj, ali i potaknuo mnoge da glasno progovore o rasnim nepravdama i policijskoj brutalnosti koja previše vremena uzima maha bez da biva sankcionirana.

Brutalna smrt Georgea Floyda posljednjih tjedana pokrenula je cijeli niz prosvjeda i aktivističkih događanja diljem Amerike i svijeta, a brojnim slavnima i poznatima, koji su na razne načine podržali pokret 'Black Lives Matter', pridružila se i mlada švedska klimatska aktivistica, Greta Thunberg.

Greta Thunberg rekla je da prosvjedi za rasnu jednakost pokazuju da je društvo dostiglo krajnju točku u kojoj se nepravda više ne može zanemariti, a zaključila je i da je je "američka borba za rasnu pravdu nakon smrti Georga Floyda dio borbe protiv klimatskih promjena!"

Osvrćući se na prosvjede koji su posljednjih tjedana preplavili Ameriku i svijet, aktivistica za klimatske promjene za BBC je rekla:

- Osjeća se kao da smo prošli neku vrstu socijalne prekretnice u kojoj ljudi...
