Najveća ljubav Leonarda Cohena, njegova muza i životna inspiracija, prelijepa Marianne Ihlen Jensen, umrla je ovog ljeta u 81. godini. Prema kantautorovom osobnom priznanju, smrt žene koju je najviše volio jako ga je pogodila i otad je počeo brojati dane do svoje smrti.

Marianne je, naravno, ona Marianne koja je ovjekovječena u najslavnijoj Cohenovoj pjesmi "So long, Marianne".

Lijepu Norvežanku iz Osla, Cohen je upoznao na grčkome otoku Hydri. Marianne je tada bila model i na otoku je živjela sa sinom nakon što ju je zbog druge napustio suprug Axel Jensen, norveški pisac.

Između Leonarda i Marianne planula je strasna ljubav i vrlo brzo su počeli živjeti zajedno. Leonard Cohen je bio opčinjen, zaluđen i ludo zaljubljen u plavokosu Norvežanku.

Prema pisanju biografa, Marriane je snažno poticala Cohenovu kreativnost, navikla živjeti s kreativcem, znala je funkcionirati poput muze i majke. Njegovala je njegovu želju da uživa u sigurnosti u domu, no nakon pet idiličnih godina, krenule su prve poteškoće u vezi. 

Marianne i Leonard su se razdvojili, a razloge raskida Cohen je opisao u proslavljenoj pjesmi.

I prije nekoliko tjedana Leonard je defacto predskazao svoju smrt.

"Mislim da neću uspjeti dovršiti pjesme. Možda. Tko zna? Možda vratim energiju, ne znam. Ne usuđujem se vezati za duhovnu strategiju. Imam posla. Spreman sam umrijeti. Nadam se da nije previše neugodno. To je to od mene'', kazao je Leonard dajući do znanja da život bez nje nema smisla.

Najveća ljubav Leonarda Cohena, njegova muza i životna inspiracija, prelijepa Marianne Ihlen Jensen, umrla je ovog ljeta u 81. godini. Prema kantautorovom osobnom priznanju, smrt žene koju je najviše volio jako ga je pogodila i otad je počeo brojati dane do svoje smrti.

Marianne je, naravno, ona Marianne koja je ovjekovječena u najslavnijoj Cohenovoj pjesmi "So long, Marianne".

Lijepu Norvežanku iz Osla, Cohen je upoznao na grčkome otoku Hydri. Marianne je tada bila model i na otoku je živjela sa sinom nakon što ju je zbog druge napustio suprug Axel Jensen, norveški pisac.

Između Leonarda i Marianne planula je strasna ljubav i vrlo brzo su počeli živjeti zajedno. Leonard Cohen je bio opčinjen, zaluđen i ludo zaljubljen u plavokosu Norvežanku.

Prema pisanju biografa, Marriane je snažno poticala Cohenovu kreativnost, navikla živjeti s kreativcem, znala je funkcionirati poput muze i majke. Njegovala je njegovu želju da uživa u sigurnosti u domu, no nakon pet idiličnih godina, krenule su prve poteškoće u vezi. 

Marianne i Leonard su se razdvojili, a razloge raskida Cohen je opisao u proslavljenoj pjesmi.

I prije nekoliko tjedana Leonard je defacto predskazao svoju smrt.

"Mislim da neću uspjeti dovršiti pjesme. Možda. Tko zna? Možda vratim energiju, ne znam. Ne usuđujem se vezati za duhovnu strategiju. Imam posla. Spreman sam umrijeti. Nadam se da nije previše neugodno. To je to od mene'', kazao je Leonard dajući do znanja da život bez nje nema smisla.
