Umorne, otečene noge, osjećaj žarenja, svrbež, grčevi i u konačnici i bol u nogama – neki su od simptoma proširenih vena. Iznimno učestalog zdravstvenog problema od kojeg pati čak 30 posto građana Hrvatske pri čemu većina, gotovo 70 posto, čine žene.

Proširene vene narušavaju svakodnevicu, no većina se odluči ukloniti problem tek kada počinje biti vidljiv izvana. Je li to pravi trenutak ili ipak treba reagirati ranije, koje su metode sve danas dostupne i zašto ne odgađati posjet liječniku, upitali smo dr. Gorislava Ercega, specijalista radiologije, ali i jedinog flebologa s europskom diplomom u našoj zemlji. U francuskim zdravstvenim ustanovama ovaj je liječnik prošao zahtjevnu edukaciju kao jedini kandidat iz Hrvatske te je završio certifikaciju za izvođenje endovenskih procedura laserom, radiofrekvencijom i pjenom.

 U flebologiji Francuska je daleko ispred nas

– U Francuskoj je moderna flebologija iznimno razvijena dok se kod nas većina pacijenata tretira kirurški. Kirurški tretmani bi trebali biti opcija kod nekih stvarno specijalnih slučajeva ekstremno zapuštenih vena, kad je širina vena više od dva centimetra. Za sve ostale slučajeve doista nema potrebe niti bi klasična kirurgija uopće trebala biti opcija – uvodno će pojasniti dr. Erceg, piše Ivana Rimac Lesički za Portal Zdravlje.

Naime, klasično kirurško uklanjanje vena u javnom zdravstvenom sustavu je i dalje uglavnom jedina dostupna opcija unatoč modernim tehnikama koje su poštednije po pacijenta, a u konačnici i jeftinije za sustav. No, isto tako pri odabiru tehnike uklanjanja proširenih vena treba se dobro informirati jer nije svaka metoda za svakog najbolji izbor. Budući da je pacijentima jedan od kriterija i cijena, u praksi se često svjedoči manjkavim rezultatima jer se ne primjenjuje odgovarajuća metoda. To se ne smije događati, napominje dr. Erceg, pojašnjavajući razliku između termalnih i netermalnih metoda uklanjanja proširenih vena.

– Termalne metode su laser i radiofrekvencija, a pjena je netermalni tretman. Termalne metode su doista danas zlatni standard iz mnogo razloga, a ponajprije zbog manje komplikacija i brzog oporavka. Svojim pacijentima uvijek kažem kako ovo nije smrtonosna bolest, no ne treba reagirati tek kada problem postane vizualno vidljiv. On u dubini može biti prisutan i pet i deset godina prije nego postane vidljiv izvana i neće se sam riješiti. Ovisno od genetike i načina ponašanja svakog pojedinca samo ovisi kojom brzinom će se to razvijati, da li će progresija biti sporija ili neće. Ono najgore što se može dogoditi jest da zbog otežane opskrbe kože krvlju dođe do stvaranja rana ili ulkusa te u tom slučaju bez sumnje treba riješiti vensku insuficijenciju. No, tretman je lakši kad se problem rješava u začetku – objašnjava ovaj liječnik, voditelj Laserskog centra za proširene vene Poliklinike Medikol.

Radiofrekvencija traži idealnu situaciju

Pravilo kako biti siguran u izbor metode uklanjanja proširenih vena koja će dati trajan rezultat jest da se proširene vene od šest milimetara i više definitivno trebaju uklanjati termalnim metodama. Pri tome, pojašnjava dr. Erceg, za radiofrekvenciju pacijent doista treba imati, da tako kažemo, idealnu situaciju.

Laser je tu stoga najoptimalniji izbor, a cijeli zahvat uključujući temeljitu pripremu traje oko sat i pol vremena od čega sama procedura u pravilu oko pola sata. Zagrijavanjem zida vena, vena se oštećuje, pretvara u ožiljak i organizam je apsorbira, princip je ove tehnike. Ono što je važno još napomenuti jest da poslije nema potrebe za nošenjem kompresivnih čarapa ni zavoja, a neposredno nakon zahvata pacijent može nastaviti sa svojim uobičajenim dnevnim aktivnostima, piše Portal Zdravlje.

Umorne, otečene noge, osjećaj žarenja, svrbež, grčevi i u konačnici i bol u nogama – neki su od simptoma proširenih vena. Iznimno učestalog zdravstvenog problema od kojeg pati čak 30 posto građana Hrvatske pri čemu većina, gotovo 70 posto, čine žene.

Proširene vene narušavaju svakodnevicu, no većina se odluči ukloniti problem tek kada počinje biti vidljiv izvana. Je li to pravi trenutak ili ipak treba reagirati ranije, koje su metode sve danas dostupne i zašto ne odgađati posjet liječniku, upitali smo dr. Gorislava Ercega, specijalista radiologije, ali i jedinog flebologa s europskom diplomom u našoj zemlji. U francuskim zdravstvenim ustanovama ovaj je liječnik prošao zahtjevnu edukaciju kao jedini kandidat iz Hrvatske te je završio certifikaciju za izvođenje endovenskih procedura laserom, radiofrekvencijom i pjenom.

 U flebologiji Francuska je daleko ispred nas

– U Francuskoj je moderna flebologija iznimno razvijena dok se kod nas većina pacijenata tretira kirurški. Kirurški tretmani bi trebali biti opcija kod nekih stvarno specijalnih slučajeva ekstremno zapuštenih vena, kad je širina vena više od dva centimetra. Za sve ostale slučajeve doista nema potrebe niti bi klasična kirurgija uopće trebala biti opcija – uvodno će pojasniti dr. Erceg, piše Ivana Rimac Lesički za Portal Zdravlje.

Naime, klasično kirurško uklanjanje vena u javnom zdravstvenom sustavu je i dalje uglavnom jedina dostupna opcija unatoč modernim tehnikama koje su poštednije po pacijenta, a u konačnici i jeftinije za sustav. No, isto tako pri odabiru tehnike uklanjanja proširenih vena treba se dobro informirati jer nije svaka metoda za svakog najbolji izbor. Budući da je pacijentima jedan od kriterija i cijena, u praksi se često svjedoči manjkavim rezultatima jer se ne primjenjuje odgovarajuća metoda. To se ne smije događati, napominje dr. Erceg, pojašnjavajući razliku između termalnih i netermalnih metoda uklanjanja proširenih vena.

– Termalne metode su laser i radiofrekvencija, a pjena je netermalni tretman. Termalne metode su doista danas zlatni standard iz mnogo razloga, a ponajprije zbog manje komplikacija i brzog oporavka. Svojim pacijentima uvijek kažem kako ovo nije smrtonosna bolest, no ne treba reagirati tek kada problem postane vizualno vidljiv. On u dubini može biti prisutan i pet i deset godina prije nego postane vidljiv izvana i neće se sam riješiti. Ovisno od genetike i načina ponašanja svakog pojedinca samo ovisi kojom brzinom će se to razvijati, da li će progresija biti sporija ili neće. Ono najgore što se može dogoditi jest da zbog otežane opskrbe kože krvlju dođe do stvaranja rana ili ulkusa te u tom slučaju bez sumnje treba riješiti vensku insuficijenciju. No, tretman je lakši kad se problem rješava u začetku – objašnjava ovaj liječnik, voditelj Laserskog centra za proširene vene Poliklinike Medikol.

Radiofrekvencija traži idealnu situaciju

Pravilo kako biti siguran u izbor metode uklanjanja proširenih vena koja će dati trajan rezultat jest da se proširene vene od šest milimetara i više definitivno trebaju uklanjati termalnim metodama. Pri tome, pojašnjava dr. Erceg, za radiofrekvenciju pacijent doista treba imati, da tako kažemo, idealnu situaciju.

Laser je tu stoga najoptimalniji izbor, a cijeli zahvat uključujući temeljitu pripremu traje oko sat i pol vremena od čega sama procedura u pravilu oko pola sata. Zagrijavanjem zida vena, vena se oštećuje, pretvara u ožiljak i organizam je apsorbira, princip je ove tehnike. Ono što je važno još napomenuti jest da poslije nema potrebe za nošenjem kompresivnih čarapa ni zavoja, a neposredno nakon zahvata pacijent može nastaviti sa svojim uobičajenim dnevnim aktivnostima, piše Portal Zdravlje.
