Pfizerovo cjepivo učinkovitije je protiv delta varijante koronavirusa od AstraZenecina, ali se zaštita koju pruža brže se smanjuje, proizlazi iz britanske studije objavljene u četvrtak.

U istraživanju Oxforda sudjelovalo je 700 tisuća ispitanika od prosinca 2020. do kolovoza 2021.

Osoba koja je prije mjesec dana primila drugu dozu Pfizera 90 posto je zaštićenija protiv delte od necijepljene osobe, pokazalo se u analizi uzoraka.

Dva mjeseca nakon primanja druge doze razlika se smanjuje na 85 posto, a nakon tri mjeseca na 78 posto.

Cjepivo AstraZenece, prema istraživanju, pruža zaštitu od 67 posto nakon jednog mjeseca, 65 posto nakon dva mjeseca i 61 posto nakon tri mjeseca.

Ukupna učinkovitost ostaje velika

Nakon četiri do pet mjeseci razina zaštite koju daju Pfizer i AstraZeneca ujednačava se, navodi se u studiji koja još nije prošla recenziju.

Te brojke "zaista predstavljaju pad" učinkovitosti Pfizerova cjepiva, objasnio je dr. Koen Pouwels, jedan od autora studije.

Istraživači ipak ističu da usprkos smanjenju razine zaštite "ukupna učinkovitost (oba cjepiva) ostaje vrlo velika".

Napominju da su istraživači promatrali ukupnu zaštitu protiv covida-19, a ne zaštitu protiv težih oblika bolesti i hospitalizacija, što je važno za "evaluiranje učinkovitosti cjepiva".

Studija je objavljena u vrijeme kada neke zemlje razmatraju cijepljenje trećom dozom cjepiva.

Pfizerovo cjepivo učinkovitije je protiv delta varijante koronavirusa od AstraZenecina, ali se zaštita koju pruža brže se smanjuje, proizlazi iz britanske studije objavljene u četvrtak.

U istraživanju Oxforda sudjelovalo je 700 tisuća ispitanika od prosinca 2020. do kolovoza 2021.

Osoba koja je prije mjesec dana primila drugu dozu Pfizera 90 posto je zaštićenija protiv delte od necijepljene osobe, pokazalo se u analizi uzoraka.

Dva mjeseca nakon primanja druge doze razlika se smanjuje na 85 posto, a nakon tri mjeseca na 78 posto.

Cjepivo AstraZenece, prema istraživanju, pruža zaštitu od 67 posto nakon jednog mjeseca, 65 posto nakon dva mjeseca i 61 posto nakon tri mjeseca.

Ukupna učinkovitost ostaje velika

Nakon četiri do pet mjeseci razina zaštite koju daju Pfizer i AstraZeneca ujednačava se, navodi se u studiji koja još nije prošla recenziju.

Te brojke "zaista predstavljaju pad" učinkovitosti Pfizerova cjepiva, objasnio je dr. Koen Pouwels, jedan od autora studije.

Istraživači ipak ističu da usprkos smanjenju razine zaštite "ukupna učinkovitost (oba cjepiva) ostaje vrlo velika".

Napominju da su istraživači promatrali ukupnu zaštitu protiv covida-19, a ne zaštitu protiv težih oblika bolesti i hospitalizacija, što je važno za "evaluiranje učinkovitosti cjepiva".

Studija je objavljena u vrijeme kada neke zemlje razmatraju cijepljenje trećom dozom cjepiva.

Pfizerovo cjepivo učinkovitije je protiv delta varijante koronavirusa od AstraZenecina, ali se zaštita koju pruža brže se smanjuje, proizlazi iz britanske studije objavljene u četvrtak.

U istraživanju Oxforda sudjelovalo je 700 tisuća ispitanika od prosinca 2020. do kolovoza 2021.

Osoba koja je prije mjesec dana primila drugu dozu Pfizera 90 posto je zaštićenija protiv delte od necijepljene osobe, pokazalo se u analizi uzoraka.

Dva mjeseca nakon primanja druge doze razlika se smanjuje na 85 posto, a nakon tri mjeseca na 78 posto.

Cjepivo AstraZenece, prema istraživanju, pruža zaštitu od 67 posto nakon jednog mjeseca, 65 posto nakon dva mjeseca i 61 posto nakon tri mjeseca.

Ukupna učinkovitost ostaje velika
