Već nekoliko minuta nakon pušenja, marihuana utječe na vaše srce. Aktivni spojevi u biljci mogu uzrokovati proširenje krvnih žila što smanjuje krvni tlak, koji utječe na ubrzanje otkucaja srca odnosno lupanje srca. Otkucaji srca se povećavaju kako bi ono nadoknadilo niski tlak. U nekim slučajevima broj otkucaja srca može se povećati za čak do 30 posto što može izazivati anksioznost i opasnost od srčanog udara.

Prema novom istraživanju objavljenom u časopisu Canadian Medical Association Journal osobe mlađe od 45 godina koje su konzumirale kanabis u posljednjih 30 dana, patile su od gotovo dvostrukog broja srčanih udara nego osobe koje ga nisu konzumirale. Istraživači su analizirali zdravstvene podatke više od 33 000 osoba u dobi od 18 do 44 godine uključenih u istraživanja američkih centara za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti 2017. i 2018. godine. Od 17 posto odraslih koji su prijavili da su koristili kanabis u prethodnom mjesecu, 1,3 posto je kasnije imalo srčani udar, dok je 0,8 posto osoba koje nisu koristili kanabis prijavilo isto.

„Neki su ljudi uvjereni da je konzumacija kanabisa sigurna i da ne može naštetiti vašem tijelu, ali to je netočno, rekao je voditelj studije dr. Karim Ladha, kliničar-znanstvenik i anesteziolog u bolnici St. Michael i Sveučilištu u Torontu u Kanadi.

Biljka kanabisa sadrži psihoaktivnu kemikaliju delta-9-tetrahidrokanabinol (THC) koja utječe na mozak i druge organe. Marihuana se najčešće puši u obliku ručno rolanih cigareta, jointa ili u lulama "pipes" ili "water pipes", a dim marihuane ima prepoznatljiv opojni slatko-kiseli miris. Kanabis smola je komprimirana kruta tvar izrađena od smolastih dijelova biljke, a kanabisovo ulje je ekstrakt otopine biljke.

- Kanabis koji se danas prodaje na tržištu također je mnogo snažniji od kanabisa prodanog u posljednjih 50 godina, izjavio je Robert Page liječnik iz Američkog udruženja za srce o kanabisu za CNN.

Kao i većina drugih lijekova, kanabis se metabolizira kroz jetru, što znači da ima potencijal za interakciju s mnogim kardiovaskularnim lijekovima poput razrjeđivača krvi.

Istraživači AHA-e ne primijetili su i potencijalnu povezanost konzumacije s moždanim udarom, dok je pušenje marihuane povezano s oštećenjem pluća.

Već nekoliko minuta nakon pušenja, marihuana utječe na vaše srce. Aktivni spojevi u biljci mogu uzrokovati proširenje krvnih žila što smanjuje krvni tlak, koji utječe na ubrzanje otkucaja srca odnosno lupanje srca. Otkucaji srca se povećavaju kako bi ono nadoknadilo niski tlak. U nekim slučajevima broj otkucaja srca može se povećati za čak do 30 posto što može izazivati anksioznost i opasnost od srčanog udara.

Prema novom istraživanju objavljenom u časopisu Canadian Medical Association Journal osobe mlađe od 45 godina koje su konzumirale kanabis u posljednjih 30 dana, patile su od gotovo dvostrukog broja srčanih udara nego osobe koje ga nisu konzumirale. Istraživači su analizirali zdravstvene podatke više od 33 000 osoba u dobi od 18 do 44 godine uključenih u istraživanja američkih centara za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti 2017. i 2018. godine. Od 17 posto odraslih koji su prijavili da su koristili kanabis u prethodnom mjesecu, 1,3 posto je kasnije imalo srčani udar, dok je 0,8 posto osoba koje nisu koristili kanabis prijavilo isto.

„Neki su ljudi uvjereni da je konzumacija kanabisa sigurna i da ne može naštetiti vašem tijelu, ali to je netočno, rekao je voditelj studije dr. Karim Ladha, kliničar-znanstvenik i anesteziolog u bolnici St. Michael i Sveučilištu u Torontu u Kanadi.

Biljka kanabisa sadrži psihoaktivnu kemikaliju delta-9-tetrahidrokanabinol (THC) koja utječe na mozak i druge organe. Marihuana se najčešće puši u obliku ručno rolanih cigareta, jointa ili u lulama "pipes" ili "water pipes", a dim marihuane ima prepoznatljiv opojni slatko-kiseli miris. Kanabis smola je komprimirana kruta tvar izrađena od smolastih dijelova biljke, a kanabisovo ulje je ekstrakt otopine biljke.

- Kanabis koji se danas prodaje na tržištu također je mnogo snažniji od kanabisa prodanog u posljednjih 50 godina, izjavio je Robert Page liječnik iz Američkog udruženja za srce o kanabisu za CNN.

Kao i većina drugih lijekova, kanabis se metabolizira kroz jetru, što znači da ima potencijal za interakciju s mnogim kardiovaskularnim lijekovima poput razrjeđivača krvi.

„Istraživanje AHA-e potanko opisuje potencijalne koristi korištenja kanabisa za ublažavanje boli i druge medicinske svrhe, no negativne posljedice nipošto ne treba zanemariti – komentirao je koautor studije dr. David Mazer, anesteziolog u bolnici St. Michael i profesor na odjelima anestezije i fiziologije na Sveučilištu u Torontu u Kanadi.

Istraživači AHA-e ne primijetili su i potencijalnu povezanost konzumacije s moždanim udarom, dok je pušenje marihuane povezano s oštećenjem pluća.

Osobe koje konzumiraju marihuanu imaju dvostruko veću šansu da će dobiti ovu opasnu bolest. Kanabis koji se danas prodaje na tržištu znatno je jači nego onaj koji se pušio u Woodstocku

Već nekoliko minuta nakon pušenja, marihuana utječe na vaše srce. Aktivni spojevi u biljci mogu uzrokovati proširenje krvnih žila što smanjuje krvni tlak, koji utječe na ubrzanje otkucaja srca odnosno lupanje srca. Otkucaji srca se povećavaju kako bi ono nadoknadilo niski tlak. U nekim slučajevima broj otkucaja srca može se povećati za čak do 30 posto što može izazivati anksioznost i opasnost od srčanog udara.

Prema novom istraživanju objavljenom u časopisu Canadian Medical Association Journal osobe mlađe od 45 godina koje su konzumirale kanabis u posljednjih 30 dana, patile su od gotovo dvostrukog broja srčanih udara nego osobe koje ga nisu konzumirale. Istraživači su analizirali zdravstvene podatke više od 33 000 osoba u dobi od 18 do 44 godine uključenih u istraživanja...
