I po odgovoru na pitanje svako koliko staroj kući treba obojiti stolariju i bravariju, dobri majstori znaju vodite li računa o svom objektu.

S njezinih prozora život je promatrala Violeta, beštimala je papiga Kokolo koju je sa svoga banka čuvala oškoprcna svadljivica Mare Mulica, a u prizemlju Meštar imao svoju butigu.

Zapuštena potkrovlja

Luminar, ili nadograđeni krovni prozor, sastavni je dio oblika i konstrukcije kuće i pogrešno ga je percipirati kao gotov, neovisan dodatak. Luminar, stoji u "Poukama baštine", rijetko služi samo za prozračivanje potkrovlja.
On uglavnom povećava stambeni prostor i omogućuje korištenje dijela potkrovlja koji nema stambenu visinu. Na kući sa stilskim karakteristikama luminar može sadržavati dekorativne elemente, dok su na pučkoj i ruralnoj arhitekturi jednostavnog, funkcionalnog oblika.

"Izvedba luminara ima podosta, iznimno imaju čak i terasicu, a mogu nositi stilska obilježja. Najčešći su jednostrešni i dvostrešni, dok se trostrešni javlja mahom na kućama sa šatorastim krovom, obično na stilskim građevinama od 18. stoljeća nadalje.
U većini slučajeva oblikovanje luminara slijedi neke zakonitosti: materijal za izradu prozorskog okvira luminara ovisi o njegovu položaju na krovu, pa je na pročelju kameni, a kod uvučenog luminara drveni.

I po odgovoru na pitanje svako koliko staroj kući treba obojiti stolariju i bravariju, dobri majstori znaju vodite li računa o svom objektu.
Dakle? Da provjerimo, sve iznad pet za stolariju i sve iznad deset ako je riječ o bravariji, označava da se prema vašoj građevini ponašate kao zla maćeha.
Takve minimalne intervencije, koje od vas traže ne odveć veliko ulaganje i nešto sati utrošenih u obnovu, vašoj kući mogu podariti dobar život. Ali i po pitanju bolje prodajne cijene pozicionirati je na tržištu nekretnina.

"Sjedni jedan" imaju svi oni koji su razmišljanja da su luminari na starim kućama građeni kako bi uljepšali fasadu, napravili malo dinamike na izgledu ili eventualno donijeli dodatno svjetla u potkrovni prostor.
Luminar je, znat će odlikaši, imao vrlo jasnu namjenu; povećavao je površinu korisnog prostora u potkrovlju, dodavao još koji bitan kvadrat.

Jedan od primjera krasno izvedenih luminara nalazi se na kući na splitskom Voćnom trgu, službeno Trgu braće Radić, na zgradi koju prepoznajemo iz "Velog mista", kultnog serijala Miljenka Smoje.
To je ona kamena tradicionalna katnica s istočnog dijela jednog od najživopisnijih podmarjanskih trgova, simbola mediteranske atmosfere, svih koluri dalmatinskog teatra.
S njezinih prozora život je promatrala Violeta, beštimala je papiga Kokolo koju je sa svoga banka čuvala oškoprcna svadljivica Mare Mulica, a u prizemlju Meštar imao svoju butigu.
Kada sljedeći put prođete trgom, bacite pogled na njezin krov, a onda i na luminare izvedene pravo školski. Upravo onako kako njihovu namjenu, varijante, način gradnje naznačuju "Pouke baštine", udžbenik koji opisuje elemente i smjernice tradicionalne gradnje priobalja.
Zapuštena potkrovlja
– Velik broj starih stambenih kuća danas ima zapuštena potkrovlja, koja često nisu iskorištena za stanovanje. Adaptacija takvih potkrovlja u stambeni prostor spada u najčešće zahvate na kućama tradicijske arhitekture.
Treba se ugledati na takve zahvate u povijesti, koji su bili usklađeni s ranijom građevinom i okolnim ambijentom – veli Joško Belamarić, jedan od autora i urednik "Pouka baštine".

Luminar, ili nadograđeni krovni prozor, sastavni je dio oblika i konstrukcije kuće i pogrešno ga je percipirati kao gotov, neovisan dodatak. Luminar, stoji u "Poukama baštine", rijetko služi samo za prozračivanje potkrovlja.
On uglavnom povećava stambeni prostor i omogućuje korištenje dijela potkrovlja koji nema stambenu visinu. Na kući sa stilskim karakteristikama luminar može sadržavati dekorativne elemente, dok su na pučkoj i ruralnoj arhitekturi jednostavnog, funkcionalnog oblika.

"Izvedba luminara ima podosta, iznimno imaju čak i terasicu, a mogu nositi stilska obilježja. Najčešći su jednostrešni i dvostrešni, dok se trostrešni javlja mahom na kućama sa šatorastim krovom, obično na stilskim građevinama od 18. stoljeća nadalje.
U većini slučajeva oblikovanje luminara slijedi neke zakonitosti: materijal za izradu prozorskog okvira luminara ovisi o njegovu položaju na krovu, pa je na pročelju kameni, a kod uvučenog luminara drveni.
