Filmski klasik Ridleya Scotta 'Thelma i Louise' izašao je prije 30 godina i odmah lansirao svoju glumačku postavu u zvjezdano nebo. Susan Sarandon i Geena Davis igraju dvije prijateljice koje žele pobjeći u Meksiko nakon što Louise ubije muškarca koji pokuša silovati Thelmu.

Riječ je o prvom tako popularnom filmu ceste sa ženskim protagonisticama kojima se događaju nevjerojatno zabavne, dramatične i uzbudljive situacije na putovanju prema slobodi. Ne bježe samo od policije nego i od svoje ružne prošlosti i muškaraca koji su ih umanjivali, obezvrjeđivali i zlostavljali.

Kako raste napetost i do kraja filma se steže policijski obruč koji prati dvije prijateljice, one odlučuju da se neće predati nego će svoj Thunderbird iz 1966. godine staviti u najveću brzinu i zaletjeti se preko litice. Film završava tako da s jedne strane imamo kordon do zuba naoružanih policajaca i helikoptere, a s druge Thelmu i Louise koje s automobilom odlaze u provaliju držeći se za ruke.

U tom trenutku ekran postaje bijel, pa su se mnogi nastavili naivno pitati jesu li se njih dvije uspjele izvući ili su zajedno umrle. Od premijere 24. svibnja 1991. prošla su tri desetljeća i sada smo konačno dobili odgovor. Objavljene su naime izbrisane posljednje scene, tj. dodatne tri minute filma.

Ovako film ne bi završio nedorečenim bijelim bljeskom koji nam dopušta da se nadamo da se dogodilo čudo već vidimo kako se automobil strmoglavljuje niz padinu. Detektiv Hal (Harvey Keitel) koji je tijekom cijelog filma obavljao svoj posao profesionalno, ali je ipak stalno bio na strani Thelme i Louise trči do ruba da bi gledao njihovu smrt.

Sve završava dodatnom zadnjom scenom njih dvije kako se voze u daljinu, što bi zapravo trebao biti simboličan prikaz njihova nastavljanja puta umjesto čudesnog preživljavanja. U ovoj verziji se umjesto pjesme Hansa Zimmera film završava izvedbom B.B. Kinga 'Better Not Look Down'.

Zašto je izbrisao te scene, otkrio je sam Ridley Scott 1997. u intervjuu za Entertainment Weekly: 'Znaš da će umrijeti, no jednostavno sam želio imati kontrolu nad time.'

Još jedna od ideja za kraj filma kako je prije više godina otkrila Sarandon je bila da umre samo ona, tj njezin lik Louise koji izgura Thelmu iz auta kako bi je spasila. Na kraju je ipak odlučeno da je ovaj kraj bolji.

Filmski klasik Ridleya Scotta 'Thelma i Louise' izašao je prije 30 godina i odmah lansirao svoju glumačku postavu u zvjezdano nebo. Susan Sarandon i Geena Davis igraju dvije prijateljice koje žele pobjeći u Meksiko nakon što Louise ubije muškarca koji pokuša silovati Thelmu.

Riječ je o prvom tako popularnom filmu ceste sa ženskim protagonisticama kojima se događaju nevjerojatno zabavne, dramatične i uzbudljive situacije na putovanju prema slobodi. Ne bježe samo od policije nego i od svoje ružne prošlosti i muškaraca koji su ih umanjivali, obezvrjeđivali i zlostavljali.

Kako raste napetost i do kraja filma se steže policijski obruč koji prati dvije prijateljice, one odlučuju da se neće predati nego će svoj Thunderbird iz 1966. godine staviti u najveću brzinu i zaletjeti se preko litice. Film završava tako da s jedne strane imamo kordon do zuba naoružanih policajaca i helikoptere, a s druge Thelmu i Louise koje s automobilom odlaze u provaliju držeći se za ruke.

U tom trenutku ekran postaje bijel, pa su se mnogi nastavili naivno pitati jesu li se njih dvije uspjele izvući ili su zajedno umrle. Od premijere 24. svibnja 1991. prošla su tri desetljeća i sada smo konačno dobili odgovor. Objavljene su naime izbrisane posljednje scene, tj. dodatne tri minute filma.

Ovako film ne bi završio nedorečenim bijelim bljeskom koji nam dopušta da se nadamo da se dogodilo čudo već vidimo kako se automobil strmoglavljuje niz padinu. Detektiv Hal (Harvey Keitel) koji je tijekom cijelog filma obavljao svoj posao profesionalno, ali je ipak stalno bio na strani Thelme i Louise trči do ruba da bi gledao njihovu smrt.

Sve završava dodatnom zadnjom scenom njih dvije kako se voze u daljinu, što bi zapravo trebao biti simboličan prikaz njihova nastavljanja puta umjesto čudesnog preživljavanja. U ovoj verziji se umjesto pjesme Hansa Zimmera film završava izvedbom B.B. Kinga 'Better Not Look Down'.

Zašto je izbrisao te scene, otkrio je sam Ridley Scott 1997. u intervjuu za Entertainment Weekly: 'Znaš da će umrijeti, no jednostavno sam želio imati kontrolu nad time.'

Još jedna od ideja za kraj filma kako je prije više godina otkrila Sarandon je bila da umre samo ona, tj njezin lik Louise koji izgura Thelmu iz auta kako bi je spasila. Na kraju je ipak odlučeno da je ovaj kraj bolji.

Filmski klasik Ridleya Scotta 'Thelma i Louise' izašao je prije 30 godina i odmah lansirao svoju glumačku postavu u zvjezdano nebo. Susan Sarandon i Geena Davis igraju dvije prijateljice koje žele pobjeći u Meksiko nakon što Louise ubije muškarca koji pokuša silovati Thelmu.

Riječ je o prvom tako popularnom filmu ceste sa ženskim protagonisticama kojima se događaju nevjerojatno zabavne, dramatične i uzbudljive situacije na putovanju prema slobodi.
