Hrvatski predsjednik i premijer nisu jedini državnici koji su komentirali ovogodišnje natjecanje za pjesmu Eurovizije u Rotterdamu. Nešto su o tome u ponedjeljak imali za reći i francuski i britanski ministri.
Premijer Andrej Plenković čestitao je još prošli tjedan hrvatskoj pjevačici Albini na dobrom nastupu iako joj je za plasman u finale nedostajalo nekoliko bodova. Ohrabrio ju je i predsjednik Milanović rekavši da je "Eurosong jednako prevara".
Svoje eurovizijske brige, pak, imali su i Francuzi i Britanci.
Francuski ministar za europska pitanja Clement Beaune zatražio je "potpunu transparentnost" o špekulacijama da je član pobjedničke talijanske grupe konzumirao kokain tijekom natjecanja što je, po njemu, razlog za diskvalifikaciju pokaže li se istinitim.
Damiano David, čudnovati pjevač talijanske rock grupe Maneskin, pristao se testirati na droge nakon što se na televizijskoj snimci činilo na ušmrkava nešto sa stola dok je čekao rezultate glasanja. On tvrdi da je čistio krhotine razbijene čaše.
"Ne smije biti nikakvih sumnji, tražimo transparentnost", rekao je Beaune. "Ako postoji problem, postoje i sankcije, uključujući moguću diskvalifikaciju".
Što je tražio, to je i dobio. Ta je kontroverza završena nakon što je organizator natjecanja u ponedjeljak navečer objavio da su rezultati testa pokazali da se David nije drogirao.
Francuska pjevačica Barbara Pravi, velika favoritkinja kladioničara, završila je druga, tijesno iza Talijana kojima su pobjedu donijeli glasovi publike.

"Ne želim biti loš gubitnik", rekao je Beaune prije nego što je saznao rezultate testa, "to je pitanje ugleda, ne možemo dopustiti da ljudi misle da se na ovakvim natjecanjima smije tako ponašati".
Francuska pjevačica ni prije toga nije bila zainteresirana za špekulacije ili žalbe. "Nisu nam ukrali pobjedu. Pobijedili su glasovima publike i žirija, a jesu li se poslije drogirali ili oblačili gaće naopačke.. to nije moj problem" rekla je Pravi.
Nije brexit kriv
Britanski su problemi bitno drugačiji. Njihov predstavnik James Newman i od publike i od žirija zaradio je nulu. To je prvi put da je neka zemlja ostala na ništici otkako je uveden postojeći 'dvostruki' sustav glasanja 2016. godine.
Da sramota bude veća, ovo je drugi put zaredom da je Britanija na Euroviziji bila zadnja, iako je 2019. osvojila poneki bod.
"Mislim da imamo fundamentalan problem s načinom na koji biramo izvođače za Euroviziju", rekla je ministrica međunarodne trgovine Liz Truss na radiju LBC.
Odbacila je bilo kakvu sugestiju da su Europljani bojkotirali britansku pjesmu zbog turbulentnog brexita.
"Ma kakvi. Nama treba veća kompetitivnost u našem izboru, trebamo izvođače testirati pred publikom", kazala je.
Britanci u zadnje vrijeme nemaju nacionalno natjecanje nego im izvođača u suradnji biraju BBC i izdavačka kuća BMG. Newman je bio prošlogodišnji BMG-jev izbor, ali je ta Eurovizija odgođena zbog pandemije.
Newman je za ovogodišnji nastup morao odustati od planirane pjesme zbog njezina nesretna naslova u pandemijsko doba: "My Last Breath". Ni zamjenska očito nije bila bolji izbor.

Hrvatski predsjednik i premijer nisu jedini državnici koji su komentirali ovogodišnje natjecanje za pjesmu Eurovizije u Rotterdamu. Nešto su o tome u ponedjeljak imali za reći i francuski i britanski ministri.
Premijer Andrej Plenković čestitao je još prošli tjedan hrvatskoj pjevačici Albini na dobrom nastupu iako joj je za plasman u finale nedostajalo nekoliko bodova. Ohrabrio ju je i predsjednik Milanović rekavši da je "Eurosong jednako prevara".
Svoje eurovizijske brige, pak, imali su i Francuzi i Britanci.
Francuski ministar za europska pitanja Clement Beaune zatražio je "potpunu transparentnost" o špekulacijama da je član pobjedničke talijanske grupe konzumirao kokain tijekom natjecanja što je, po njemu, razlog za diskvalifikaciju pokaže li se istinitim.
Damiano David, čudnovati pjevač talijanske rock grupe Maneskin, pristao se testirati na droge nakon što se na televizijskoj snimci činilo na ušmrkava nešto sa stola dok je čekao rezultate glasanja. On tvrdi da je čistio krhotine razbijene čaše.
"Ne smije biti nikakvih sumnji, tražimo transparentnost", rekao je Beaune. "Ako postoji problem, postoje i sankcije, uključujući moguću diskvalifikaciju".
Što je tražio, to je i dobio. Ta je kontroverza završena nakon što je organizator natjecanja u ponedjeljak navečer objavio da su rezultati testa pokazali da se David nije drogirao.
Francuska pjevačica Barbara Pravi, velika favoritkinja kladioničara, završila je druga, tijesno iza Talijana kojima su pobjedu donijeli glasovi publike.

"Ne želim biti loš gubitnik", rekao je Beaune prije nego što je saznao rezultate testa, "to je pitanje ugleda, ne možemo dopustiti da ljudi misle da se na ovakvim natjecanjima smije tako ponašati".
Francuska pjevačica ni prije toga nije bila zainteresirana za špekulacije ili žalbe. "Nisu nam ukrali pobjedu. Pobijedili su glasovima publike i žirija, a jesu li se poslije drogirali ili oblačili gaće naopačke.. to nije moj problem" rekla je Pravi.
Nije brexit kriv
Britanski su problemi bitno drugačiji. Njihov predstavnik James Newman i od publike i od žirija zaradio je nulu. To je prvi put da je neka zemlja ostala na ništici otkako je uveden postojeći 'dvostruki' sustav glasanja 2016. godine.
Da sramota bude veća, ovo je drugi put zaredom da je Britanija na Euroviziji bila zadnja, iako je 2019. osvojila poneki bod.
"Mislim da imamo fundamentalan problem s načinom na koji biramo izvođače za Euroviziju", rekla je ministrica međunarodne trgovine Liz Truss na radiju LBC.
Odbacila je bilo kakvu sugestiju da su Europljani bojkotirali britansku pjesmu zbog turbulentnog brexita.
"Ma kakvi. Nama treba veća kompetitivnost u našem izboru, trebamo izvođače testirati pred publikom", kazala je.
Britanci u zadnje vrijeme nemaju nacionalno natjecanje nego im izvođača u suradnji biraju BBC i izdavačka kuća BMG. Newman je bio prošlogodišnji BMG-jev izbor, ali je ta Eurovizija odgođena zbog pandemije.
Newman je za ovogodišnji nastup morao odustati od planirane pjesme zbog njezina nesretna naslova u pandemijsko doba: "My Last Breath". Ni zamjenska očito nije bila bolji izbor.
