Glumac koji je navodno plaćen 10 milijuna dolara unaprijed, a zaradio je ukupno 35 milijuna dolara za prvi film u franšizi iz 1999. godine, bio je odlučan da financira istraživanje raka krvi nakon što je njegovoj sestri Kim dijagnosticirana ista bolest 1991.

Da je Keanu Reeves (57) veliki humanitarac i dobri duh među Hollywoodskim glumcima već znaju i ptice na grani, ali o dobrim djelima nikad dosta. Američki glumac poznat je po svojim brojnim donacijama, nesebičnom darivanju i pomaganju siromašnima, ali i svojoj obitelji.

Njegovoj sestri Kim (55) dijagnosticirana je leukemija još prije 10 godina, a toga trenutka zvijezda je odlučila dati sve što je potrebno kako bi pomogao sestri. Njegova odanost dovela ga je do toga da je prodao svoj dom kako bi joj bio bliže, a odgodio je i snimanja nastavaka 'Matrixa'. Keanu je postao njezin glavni njegovatelj početkom devedesetih, pomažući joj da ozdravi. Kada se oporavila od bolesti, pokrenuo je dobrotvornu organizaciju, piše Gloria.

On i sestra Kim bili su posebno bliski nakon što su zajedno odrastali u teškim okolnostima. Otac ih je napustio kad je Keanu imao dvije godine, a kasnije je i završio u zatvoru zbog droge. Često su se selili s majkom, koja ih je s Havaja odvela u Australiju, New York i Kanadu.

Jako povezan sa sestrom

Ranije je za svoju sestru rekao kako je uvijek bila tu uz njega, te će on učiniti isto za nju. Poznati glumac od tada je pokrenuo dobrotvornu zakladu za pomoć onima koji se bore s rakom. "Imam privatnu zakladu koja djeluje pet ili šest godina i pomaže u nekoliko dječjih bolnica i istraživanju raka. Ne volim vezivati ​​svoje ime uz to, samo prepuštam zakladi da radi ono što radi", rekao je 2009. u jednom intervjuu.

U lipnju 2020. Keanu je na aukciji prodao 15-minutni virtualni Zoom spoj kako bi prikupio novac za dobrotvornu organizaciju koja radi istraživanja o raku kod djece.

No, postoji jedan tip koji se čini da se bori protiv tog trenda, jer je uspio izgraditi prizemnu reputaciju unatoč tome što je glumio u nekim od najvećih svjetskih filmova - i, bez sumnje, dobivao jednake plaće.

Keanu Reeves je omiljen u cijelom svijetu zbog svog iznimno prijateljskog ponašanja, bilo da kupuje Rolex satove za svoj tim kaskadera ili je najveća potpora svojoj obitelji, za koju je spreman i žrtvovati i karijeru.

Glumac koji je navodno plaćen 10 milijuna dolara unaprijed, a zaradio je ukupno 35 milijuna dolara za prvi film u franšizi iz 1999. godine, bio je odlučan da financira istraživanje raka krvi nakon što je njegovoj sestri Kim dijagnosticirana ista bolest 1991.

Da je Keanu Reeves (57) veliki humanitarac i dobri duh među Hollywoodskim glumcima već znaju i ptice na grani, ali o dobrim djelima nikad dosta. Američki glumac poznat je po svojim brojnim donacijama, nesebičnom darivanju i pomaganju siromašnima, ali i svojoj obitelji.

Njegovoj sestri Kim (55) dijagnosticirana je leukemija još prije 10 godina, a toga trenutka zvijezda je odlučila dati sve što je potrebno kako bi pomogao sestri. Njegova odanost dovela ga je do toga da je prodao svoj dom kako bi joj bio bliže, a odgodio je i snimanja nastavaka 'Matrixa'. Keanu je postao njezin glavni njegovatelj početkom devedesetih, pomažući joj da ozdravi. Kada se oporavila od bolesti, pokrenuo je dobrotvornu organizaciju, piše Gloria.

On i sestra Kim bili su posebno bliski nakon što su zajedno odrastali u teškim okolnostima. Otac ih je napustio kad je Keanu imao dvije godine, a kasnije je i završio u zatvoru zbog droge. Često su se selili s majkom, koja ih je s Havaja odvela u Australiju, New York i Kanadu.

Jako povezan sa sestrom

Ranije je za svoju sestru rekao kako je uvijek bila tu uz njega, te će on učiniti isto za nju. Poznati glumac od tada je pokrenuo dobrotvornu zakladu za pomoć onima koji se bore s rakom. "Imam privatnu zakladu koja djeluje pet ili šest godina i pomaže u nekoliko dječjih bolnica i istraživanju raka. Ne volim vezivati ​​svoje ime uz to, samo prepuštam zakladi da radi ono što radi", rekao je 2009. u jednom intervjuu.

U lipnju 2020. Keanu je na aukciji prodao 15-minutni virtualni Zoom spoj kako bi prikupio novac za dobrotvornu organizaciju koja radi istraživanja o raku kod djece.

Hollywood nije baš poznat po mentalitetu dobrih dečki, jer je ogromna industrija koja je nemilosrdna i izgrađena na ekstremnom bogatstvu, slavi moći i novcu. Glumac koji je navodno plaćen 10 milijuna dolara unaprijed, a zaradio je ukupno 35 milijuna dolara za prvi film u franšizi iz 1999. godine, bio je odlučan da financira istraživanje raka krvi nakon što je njegovoj sestri Kim dijagnosticirana ista bolest 1991.

Da je Keanu Reeves (57) veliki humanitarac i dobri duh među Hollywoodskim glumcima već znaju i ptice na grani, ali o dobrim djelima nikad dosta. Američki glumac poznat je po svojim brojnim donacijama, nesebičnom darivanju i pomaganju siromašnima, ali i svojoj obitelji.

Njegovoj sestri Kim (55) dijagnosticirana je leukemija još prije 10 godina, a toga trenutka zvijezda je odlučila dati sve što je potrebno kako bi pomogao sestri. Njegova odanost dovela ga je do toga da je prodao svoj dom kako bi joj bio bliže, a odgodio...
