Ken Olisa, predstavnik kraljice Elizabete II. u britanskoj prijestolnici i prvi crnac koji je na toj dužnosti, otkrio je za televiziju Channel 4 da je razgovarao o rasizmu sa članovima kraljevske obitelji nakon što je bijeli policajac u SAD-u ubio Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda i rekao da kraljevska obitelj podržava pokret Black Lives Matter.  

"Razgovarao sam s kraljevskom obitelji o rasnom pitanju, posebice posljednjih 12 mjeseci nakon ubojstva Georgea Floyda", izjavio je na tom tv-kanalu.

"Ovo je vruća tema za razgovor. Pitanje je, što još možemo učiniti da potaknemo društvo da ukloni te prepreke", nastavio je.

Dodao je kako se članovi kraljevske obitelji "sa strašću brinu da njihova zemlja dijeli iste vrijednosti".

Na pitanje podržava li Buckinghamska palača pokret Black Lives Matter, Ken Olisa je rekao: "Da, u potpunosti".

Ta izjava stiže nekoliko mjeseci nakon šokantnih otkrića princa Harryja, unuka kraljice Eiizabete II., i njegove supruge Meghan u intrevjuu s Oprah Winfrey o neimenovanom članu kraljevske obitelji koji se brinuo koje će boje kože biti njihov sin Archie.

Ta izjava unijela je razdor između mladog para i ostatka kraljevske obitelji, a princ William je reagirao i istaknuo "da oni nipošto nisu rasistička obitelj". 

Kraljica je rekla da su ju rastužile poteškoće koje je par osjetio i da optužbe za rasizam doživljava jako ozbiljno.

Ken Olisa, predstavnik kraljice Elizabete II. u britanskoj prijestolnici i prvi crnac koji je na toj dužnosti, otkrio je za televiziju Channel 4 da je razgovarao o rasizmu sa članovima kraljevske obitelji nakon što je bijeli policajac u SAD-u ubio Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda i rekao da kraljevska obitelj podržava pokret Black Lives Matter.  

"Razgovarao sam s kraljevskom obitelji o rasnom pitanju, posebice posljednjih 12 mjeseci nakon ubojstva Georgea Floyda", izjavio je na tom tv-kanalu.

"Ovo je vruća tema za razgovor. Pitanje je, što još možemo učiniti da potaknemo društvo da ukloni te prepreke", nastavio je.

Dodao je kako se članovi kraljevske obitelji "sa strašću brinu da njihova zemlja dijeli iste vrijednosti".

Na pitanje podržava li Buckinghamska palača pokret Black Lives Matter, Ken Olisa je rekao: "Da, u potpunosti".

Ta izjava stiže nekoliko mjeseci nakon šokantnih otkrića princa Harryja, unuka kraljice Eiizabete II., i njegove supruge Meghan u intrevjuu s Oprah Winfrey o neimenovanom članu kraljevske obitelji koji se brinuo koje će boje kože biti njihov sin Archie.

Ta izjava unijela je razdor između mladog para i ostatka kraljevske obitelji, a princ William je reagirao i istaknuo "da oni nipošto nisu rasistička obitelj". 

Kraljica je rekla da su ju rastužile poteškoće koje je par osjetio i da optužbe za rasizam doživljava jako ozbiljno.

Ken Olisa, predstavnik kraljice Elizabete II. u britanskoj prijestolnici i prvi crnac koji je na toj dužnosti, otkrio je za televiziju Channel 4 da je razgovarao o rasizmu sa članovima kraljevske obitelji nakon što je bijeli policajac u SAD-u ubio Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda i rekao da kraljevska obitelj podržava pokret Black Lives Matter.  

"Razgovarao sam s kraljevskom obitelji o rasnom pitanju, posebice posljednjih 12 mjeseci nakon ubojstva Georgea Floyda", izjavio je na tom tv-kanalu.

"Ovo je vruća tema za razgovor. Pitanje je, što još možemo učiniti da potaknemo društvo da ukloni te prepreke", nastavio je.

Dodao je kako se članovi kraljevske obitelji "sa strašću brinu da njihova zemlja dijeli iste vrijednosti".
