U članku lista Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) se navodi da je od početka cijepljenja protiv covid-a 19 do sredine studenoga u Njemačkoj više od 260.000 cijepljenih osoba razvilo simptome nakon zaraze koronavirusom. I da je od sredine listopada do sredine studenoga među zaraženim simptomatičnim osobama mlađima od 60 godina bila skoro polovica cijepljenih odraslih osoba. Kod starijih zaraženih udio cijepljenih je iznosio čak više od 70 posto, piše dw.com.

U tekstu se ističe kako te brojke relativizira činjenica da je cijepljenih odraslih osoba u Njemačkoj skoro četiri puta više nego necijepljenih, te da je djelotvornost cjepiva, posebice kod starijih koji su prvi cijepljeni, s vremenom oslabila.

„Ovo što sada vidimo nije samo „pandemija necijepljenih". Ali koliki je udio necijepljenih u trenutačnoj situaciji sa zarazom?" - postavlja se pitanje u članku njemačkog lista pod naslovom „U devet od deset zaraza sudjeluje jedan necijepljeni".

Necijepljeni uzrokovali 76 posto zaraza

Autorica članka je analizirala studiju skupine znanstvenika sa sveučilišta Humboldt na tu temu, koja je preliminarno objavljena na internetskom portalu medRxiv.

Znanstvenici su za svoju studiju koristili podatke iz razdoblja od 11. listopada do 7. studenoga, kada je stopa reprodukcije iznosila 1,2, što znači da je svaki oboljeli u prosjeku zarazio nešto više od jedne osobe.

Za učinkovitost cjepiva uzeli su podatak Instituta Roberta Kocha (RKI) prema kojem u skupini cijepljenih osoba cjepivo sprečava 72 posto zaraza koje bi nastupile u ekvivalentnoj skupini necijepljenih osoba. Osim toga, autori studije su polazili od toga da je vjerojatnost za prenošenje virusa na druge kod cijepljene osobe manja, jer je ona kraće vrijeme zarazna.

Uzevši u obzir sve te podatke znanstvenici su došli do zaključka da do širenja zaraze u skupini koju čine samo cijepljene osobe dolazi u 9 posto slučajeva. Drugim riječima, u oko devet od deset slučajeva širenja zaraze sudjelovala je najmanje jedna necijepljena osoba. Isto tako, zaključili su da su 76 posto svih slučajeva zaraze uzrokovale necijepljene osobe.

Argument za cijepljenje

Budući da se učinak cjepiva zasniva samo na broju simptomatičnih slučajeva prijavljenih Institutu Roberta Kocha, znanstvenici su razradili još jedan scenarij u kojem bi učinkovitost cjepiva bila samo između 50 i 60 posto. U tom scenariju je udio zaraza koje su proširili necijepljeni 67 posto.

Kako se navodi u članku u FAZ-u, ti znanstveni modeli omogućavaju i preispitivanje načina za smanjenje stope reprodukcije na manje od 1, kako bi se ograničilo širenje zaraze. List citira zaključak znanstvenika da bi bilo nužno smanjiti širenje virusa od strane necijepljenih osoba za 25 posto kako bi se zaustavio eksponencijalni rast.

„No takve mjere koje ciljaju na skupine necijepljenih su etički upitne i logistički skoro neprovedive – to su naveli sami autori i izričito upozorili da ne treba pretjerati u interpretaciji rezultata, koja bi se shvatila kao preporuka za odgovarajuće mjere. Rezultati prije svega ponovo ističu važnost cijepljenja", prenosi FAZ. I završava zaključkom autora studije: „Ovi izračuni u svakom slučaju trebaju barem malo umiriti cijepljene osobe – a za necijepljene, koji se još uvijek dvoume bi li njihovo cijepljenje stvarno nešto značilo, trebaju biti još jedan argument da se ipak cijepe."

U članku lista Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) se navodi da je od početka cijepljenja protiv covid-a 19 do sredine studenoga u Njemačkoj više od 260.000 cijepljenih osoba razvilo simptome nakon zaraze koronavirusom. I da je od sredine listopada do sredine studenoga među zaraženim simptomatičnim osobama mlađima od 60 godina bila skoro polovica cijepljenih odraslih osoba. Kod starijih zaraženih udio cijepljenih je iznosio čak više od 70 posto, piše dw.com.

U tekstu se ističe kako te brojke relativizira činjenica da je cijepljenih odraslih osoba u Njemačkoj skoro četiri puta više nego necijepljenih, te da je djelotvornost cjepiva, posebice kod starijih koji su prvi cijepljeni, s vremenom oslabila.

„Ovo što sada vidimo nije samo „pandemija necijepljenih". Ali koliki je udio necijepljenih u trenutačnoj situaciji sa zarazom?" - postavlja se pitanje u članku njemačkog lista pod naslovom „U devet od deset zaraza sudjeluje jedan necijepljeni".

Necijepljeni uzrokovali 76 posto zaraza

Autorica članka je analizirala studiju skupine znanstvenika sa sveučilišta Humboldt na tu temu, koja je preliminarno objavljena na internetskom portalu medRxiv.

Znanstvenici su za svoju studiju koristili podatke iz razdoblja od 11. listopada do 7. studenoga, kada je stopa reprodukcije iznosila 1,2, što znači da je svaki oboljeli u prosjeku zarazio nešto više od jedne osobe.

Za učinkovitost cjepiva uzeli su podatak Instituta Roberta Kocha (RKI) prema kojem u skupini cijepljenih osoba cjepivo sprečava 72 posto zaraza koje bi nastupile u ekvivalentnoj skupini necijepljenih osoba. Osim toga, autori studije su polazili od toga da je vjerojatnost za prenošenje virusa na druge kod cijepljene osobe manja, jer je ona kraće vrijeme zarazna.

Uzevši u obzir sve te podatke znanstvenici su došli do zaključka da do širenja zaraze u skupini koju čine samo cijepljene osobe dolazi u 9 posto slučajeva. Drugim riječima, u oko devet od deset slučajeva širenja zaraze sudjelovala je najmanje jedna necijepljena osoba. Isto tako, zaključili su da su 76 posto svih slučajeva zaraze uzrokovale necijepljene osobe.

Argument za cijepljenje

Budući da se učinak cjepiva zasniva samo na broju simptomatičnih slučajeva prijavljenih Institutu Roberta Kocha, znanstvenici su razradili još jedan scenarij u kojem bi učinkovitost cjepiva bila samo između 50 i 60 posto. U tom scenariju je udio zaraza koje su proširili necijepljeni 67 posto.

Kako se navodi u članku u FAZ-u, ti znanstveni modeli omogućavaju i preispitivanje načina za smanjenje stope reprodukcije na manje od 1, kako bi se ograničilo širenje zaraze. List citira zaključak znanstvenika da bi bilo nužno smanjiti širenje virusa od strane necijepljenih osoba za 25 posto kako bi se zaustavio eksponencijalni rast.

„No takve mjere koje ciljaju na skupine necijepljenih su etički upitne i logistički skoro neprovedive – to su naveli sami autori i izričito upozorili da ne treba pretjerati u interpretaciji rezultata, koja bi se shvatila kao preporuka za odgovarajuće mjere. Rezultati prije svega ponovo ističu važnost cijepljenja", prenosi FAZ. I završava zaključkom autora studije: „Ovi izračuni u svakom slučaju trebaju barem malo umiriti cijepljene osobe – a za necijepljene, koji se još uvijek dvoume bi li njihovo cijepljenje stvarno nešto značilo, trebaju biti još jedan argument da se ipak cijepe."

Kolika je stvarno zaraza koronavirusom koju šire necijepljene osobe? Na to pitanje odgovara nova studija

U članku lista Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) se navodi da je od početka cijepljenja protiv covid-a 19 do sredine studenoga u Njemačkoj više od 260.000 cijepljenih osoba razvilo simptome nakon zaraze koronavirusom. I da je od sredine listopada do sredine studenoga među zaraženim simptomatičnim osobama mlađima od 60 godina bila skoro polovica cijepljenih odraslih osoba. Kod starijih zaraženih udio cijepljenih je iznosio čak više od 70 posto, piše dw.com.

U tekstu se ističe kako te brojke relativizira činjenica da je cijepljenih odraslih osoba u Njemačkoj skoro četiri puta više nego necijepljenih, te da je djelotvornost cjepiva, posebice kod starijih koji su prvi cijepljeni, s vremenom oslabila.
