Arome, boje, konzervansi i zgušnjivači čine hranu privlačnijom.

Hrana bolje miriše, privlačnija je, dužeg roka trajanja. Neki su aditivi bezopasni, dok druge treba izbjegavati

To što je puding kremast, a limunada žuta posljedica je umjetnih dodataka u hrani.

Arome, boje, konzervansi i zgušnjivači čine hranu privlačnom potrošačima. Bolje mirišu, uljepšavaju proizvod intenzivnijom bojom ili produljuju rok trajanja.

Neki aditivi su potpuno bezopasni, dok druge treba izbjegavati jer mogu uzrokovati alergije, ADHD, oštetiti organe ili se sumnja da uzrokuju rak, piše živim.hr.

Europska agencija za sigurnost hrane u načelu provjerava je li aditiv štetan, a ako nema sumnje u njezinu sigurnost, tvar je odobrena. Međutim, za određene aditive primjenjuje se ograničenje količine i obveza upozoravanja potrošača.

Postoji vrlo malo potpuno prirodnih boja, ali ima bezbroj sintetičkih boja od kojih neke mogu naštetiti zdravlju.

✓ Žute boje - E102, E104, E110

Koriste se za bojanje slanih grickalica, džemova i pudinga.

Zašto su opasni: Mogu izazvati osip na koži i otežano disanje. Posebno može biti opasan E102 (tartrazin) za one koji pate od netolerancije na aspirin. Identične simptome može uzrokovati i E110 (žuto-narančasta). Puno se priča o njihovom kancerogenom učinku, ali on još nije nedvojbeno dokazan. Također, hrana koja sadrži E104 mora nositi oznaku "može narušiti aktivnost i pažnju kod djece" jer može izazvati poremećaje pažnje i hiperaktivnost te potiče takozvane pseudoalergije, alergije koje imaju simptome klasične alergije, ali ne pokazuju imunosnu reakciju.

✓ Crvene boje - E122, E123, E124, E127, E129

Koriste se u mesnim i ribljim zamjenskim proizvodima, biljnim proteinima, umacima, slatkišima i džemovima.

Zašto su opasni: Osim pseudoalergija, boje E122, E124 i E129 također mogu izazvati hiperaktivnost kod djece, dok E127 (eritrozin) dodatno može i uzrokovati poremećaje štitnjače.

Za boju E123 sumnja se da oštećuje bubrege. U Americi je ova boja zabranjena jer su eksperimenti na životinjama pokazali da može uzrokovati rak.

✓ Smeđe boje - E150, E151, E154, E155

Ovim e brojevima svoju boju duguju cola napitci, kolači i umaci.

Zašto su opasni: E150 (boja karamele) smatra se sigurnom sve dok ne prekoračite preporučenu dnevnu dozu od 300 miligrama po kilogramu tjelesne težine. U Americi hrana s E150 mora nositi upozorenje koje ukazuje na potencijalni rizik od raka. Ako se jede u velikim količinama i smeđa boja E154 može oštetiti unutarnje organe, a odobrena je samo za dimljenu haringu. Oštetiti unutarnje organe može i E155, dok briljantno crna E180 navodno izaziva pseudoalergije.

KONZERVANSI

Korištenje konzervansa sprječava rast bakterija, plijesni i kvasaca, pa tako štite naše zdravlje, ali mogu biti i štetni. Također, produžuju rok trajanja.

✓ E220 - sumporni dioksid - obično se koristi za očuvanje suhog voća i gotovih jela. No, ovaj konzervans također može potaknuti glavobolje, mučninu i proljev.

✓ E249, E250 - nitriti - mesna industrija naveliko ih koristi za crvenilo i konzerviranje mesa. Ovi aditivi utječu na opuštanje krvnih žila i snižavanje krvnog tlaka, što je posebno opasno za malu djecu.

✓ E235 - pimaricin - uglavnom se koristi kao inhibitor kvasca, produljuje rok trajanja siru i nekim proizvodima od mesa i pićima. Međutim, još je upitno da li može i u kojoj količini naštetiti zdravlju.

✓ E284, E285 - borna kiselina i natrijev tetraborat (boraks) - koje se koriste između ostalog u proizvodnji kavijara, također su klasificirane kao štetne.

ZGUŠNJIVAČI I SREDSTVA ZA GELIRANJE

Aditivi kao što su guma i guar guma daju hrani bolju konzistenciju. Većina ih je bezopasna, ali s nekima je potreban oprez.

✓ E407 - koristi se u proizvodnji kečapa, umaka i pudinga. Izlučuje se neprobavljen, ali smatra se da smanjuje apsorpciju hranjivih tvari.

✓ E425 - koristi se u proizvodnji staklenih rezanaca, a također sprječava apsorpciju hranjivih tvari.

POJAČIVAČI OKUSA

Pojačivači okusa su kemijski proizvedene tvari koje poboljšavaju okus, ali i uzrokuju umjetni osjećaj gladi.

✓ E620-E625 - glutamati - mogu izazvati migrenu, bol u želucu i visoki tlak.

SLADILA

Mnogi proizvodi koje svakodnevno jedemo imaju umjetno stvorenu slatkoću, no sve je više istraživanja o njihovoj štetnosti.

✓ E951 - aspartam - izazvao je rak u istraživanjima na životinjama, a pokazalo se i da može uzrokovati glavobolje i gubitak pamćenja.

✓ E999 - quillaia ekstrakt - koristi se za poboljšanje pjenjenje u pićima, ali također može smanjiti broj krvnih stanica ili ograničiti njihovu funkciju.

To što je puding kremast, a limunada žuta posljedica je umjetnih dodataka u hrani.

Arome, boje, konzervansi i zgušnjivači čine hranu privlačnom potrošačima. Bolje mirišu, uljepšavaju proizvod intenzivnijom bojom ili produljuju rok trajanja.

Neki aditivi su potpuno bezopasni, dok druge treba izbjegavati jer mogu uzrokovati alergije, ADHD, oštetiti organe ili se sumnja da uzrokuju rak, piše živim.hr.

Europska agencija za sigurnost hrane u načelu provjerava je li aditiv štetan, a ako nema sumnje u njezinu sigurnost, tvar je odobrena. Međutim, za određene aditive primjenjuje se ograničenje količine i obveza upozoravanja potrošača.

Postoji vrlo malo potpuno prirodnih boja, ali ima bezbroj sintetičkih boja od kojih neke mogu naštetiti zdravlju.

Zašto su opasni: Mogu izazvati osip na koži i otežano disanje. Posebno može biti opasan E102 (tartrazin) za one koji pate od netolerancije na aspirin. Identične simptome može uzrokovati i E110 (žuto-narančasta). Puno se priča o njihovom kancerogenom učinku, ali on još nije nedvojbeno dokazan. Također, hrana koja sadrži E104 mora nositi oznaku "može narušiti aktivnost i pažnju kod djece" jer može izazvati poremećaje pažnje i hiperaktivnost te potiče takozvane pseudoalergije, alergije koje imaju simptome klasične alergije, ali ne pokazuju imunosnu reakciju.

✓ Crvene boje - E122, E123, E124, E127, E129

Koriste se u mesnim i ribljim zamjenskim proizvodima, biljnim proteinima, umacima, slatkišima i džemovima.

Zašto su opasni: Osim pseudoalergija, boje E122, E124 i E129 također mogu izazvati hiperaktivnost kod djece, dok E127 (eritrozin) dodatno može i uzrokovati poremećaje štitnjače.

Za boju E123 sumnja se da oštećuje bubrege. U Americi je ova boja zabranjena jer su eksperimenti na životinjama pokazali da može uzrokovati rak.

✓ Smeđe boje - E150, E151, E154, E155

Ovim e brojevima svoju boju duguju cola napitci, kolači i umaci.

Zašto su opasni: E150 (boja karamele) smatra se sigurnom sve dok ne prekoračite preporučenu dnevnu dozu od 300 miligrama po kilogramu tjelesne težine. U Americi hrana s E150 mora nositi upozorenje koje ukazuje na potencijalni rizik od raka. Ako se jede u velikim količinama i smeđa boja E154 može oštetiti unutarnje organe, a odobrena je samo za dimljenu haringu. Oštetiti unutarnje organe može i E155, dok briljantno crna E180 navodno izaziva pseudoalergije.

KONZERVANSI

Korištenje konzervansa sprječava rast bakterija, plijesni i kvasaca, pa tako štite naše zdravlje, ali mogu biti i štetni. Također, produžuju rok trajanja.

✓ E220 - sumporni dioksid - obično se koristi za očuvanje suhog voća i gotovih jela. No, ovaj konzervans također može potaknuti glavobolje, mučninu i proljev.

✓ E249, E250 - nitriti - mesna industrija naveliko ih koristi za crvenilo i konzerviranje mesa. Ovi aditivi utječu na opuštanje krvnih žila i snižavanje krvnog tlaka, što je posebno opasno za malu djecu.

✓ E235 - pimaricin - uglavnom se koristi kao inhibitor kvasca, produljuje rok trajanja siru i nekim proizvodima od mesa i pićima. Međutim, još je upitno da li može i u kojoj količini naštetiti zdravlju.

✓ E284, E285 - borna kiselina i natrijev tetraborat (boraks) - koje se koriste između ostalog u proizvodnji kavijara, također su klasificirane kao štetne.

ZGUŠNJIVAČI I SREDSTVA ZA GELIRANJE

Aditivi kao što su guma i guar guma daju hrani bolju konzistenciju. Većina ih je bezopasna, ali s nekima je potreban oprez.

✓ E407 - koristi se u proizvodnji kečapa, umaka i pudinga. Izlučuje se neprobavljen, ali smatra se da smanjuje apsorpciju hranjivih tvari.

✓ E425 - koristi se u proizvodnji staklenih rezanaca, a također sprječava apsorpciju hranjivih tvari.

POJAČIVAČI OKUSA

Pojačivači okusa su kemijski proizvedene tvari koje poboljšavaju okus, ali i uzrokuju umjetni osjećaj gladi.

✓ E620-E625 - glutamati - mogu izazvati migrenu, bol u želucu i visoki tlak.

SLADILA

Mnogi proizvodi koje svakodnevno jedemo imaju umjetno stvorenu slatkoću, no sve je više istraživanja o njihovoj štetnosti.

✓ E951 - aspartam - izazvao je rak u istraživanjima na životinjama, a pokazalo se i da može uzrokovati glavobolje i gubitak pamćenja.

✓ E999 - quillaia ekstrakt - koristi se za poboljšanje pjenjenje u pićima, ali također može smanjiti broj krvnih stanica ili ograničiti njihovu funkciju.

Arome, boje, konzervansi i zgušnjivači čine hranu privlačnijom.

Hrana bolje miriše, privlačnija je, dužeg roka trajanja. Neki su aditivi bezopasni, dok druge treba izbjegavati

To što je puding kremast, a limunada žuta posljedica je umjetnih dodataka u hrani.

Arome, boje, konzervansi i zgušnjivači čine hranu privlačnom potrošačima. Bolje mirišu, uljepšavaju proizvod intenzivnijom bojom ili produljuju rok trajanja.

Neki aditivi su potpuno bezopasni, dok druge treba izbjegavati jer mogu uzrokovati alergije, ADHD, oštetiti organe ili se sumnja da uzrokuju rak, piše živim.hr.

Europska agencija za sigurnost hrane u načelu provjerava je li aditiv štetan, a ako nema sumnje u njezinu sigurnost, tvar je odobrena. Međutim, za određene aditive primjenjuje se ograničenje...
