Kako je prije otprilike godinu dana poslovično mudro najavio urednički i novinarski doajen Mario Garber, ovo je trebala biti godina Tome i Mome, Tome Bebića i Momčila Popadića, njegovih prijatelja i naših legendi koji su partili prije točno trideset godina.

Očekivala su se različita događanja i pokroviteljstva, posebne knjige i publikacije, koncerti, tematske večeri, prilozi i separati. Ali došla je nesretna pandemija pa se i sam Garber našalio da je Godina Tome i Mome postala Godina korone. Doduše, korona je lijenčinama i ignorantima došla kao isprika da ne poduzmu ništa, kao što i nisu.

Ali obljetnica dvaju velikana dalmatinske misli, pjesme, teksta, humora i uspravnoga životnog stava ne može se zaboraviti, posebno ne na današnji dan, 20. studenoga, studeno mu bilo, kada je Popadić otišao u svojoj tek 43. godini.

U ovome nesretnome koronskome ljetu, kada nas je napustio i njegov prijatelj Rajko Dujmić, podsjećanje na obljetnice smrti nije rijetka i vesela rabota. Ali ima ljudi koji su naprosto nezaobilazni. Takav je Pop. Naravno i Toma. Njih se može preskakati, zaobilaziti, ignorirati, odšućivati i preglasavati. Ali oni će se uvijek vraćati.

GLUMAC I AMATER

Iako novine, kaže definicija, žive jedan dan, čitatelji se još sjećaju Popadićevih reportaža iz Dalmacije, Sarajeva, s balkanskih cesta i gudura kao da su objavljene jutros. Gotovo da nema dana da do vas ne dopre neki hit i pjesma za koju je Popadić napisao stihove. Popovi tekstovi posebno se pamte, izgleda kao i sve što je radio. Čini se ipak da netom otišloga Kiću Slabinca nije počastio nekim stihovima. Nitko nije savršen, ni svemoguć.

Pop se pojavljuje iznenada, kao nekidan u HTV-ovoj emisiji "Što je klasik", kad ga je u sjećanje prizvao Luko Paljetak, sjetivši se njihove studentske predstave kad su prvi i jedini uprizorili, kažu najbolji, poetsko-dramski tekst Federica Garcije Lorce, u kojem je Pop igrao. Bio je i kazalištarac. I amater.

Sjećaju se Popadića brojni prijatelji i znanci, nove generacije čitatelja, ma koliko zaborav i tipovanje na sitne zvjezdice, točnije rečeno meteore, bili obilježja našeg današnjeg trenutka. I onda kad ne bude nas bilo ostat će “Oprosti mi, pape”, “Tonka”, “Ča je život vengo fantažija”, “Ne budi me, mati”, "Košulja plava", “Skitnica”, “Morski pas”, ostat će lirska proza “Živit u strpjenstvu ili Momo, zašto se kriviš”, reportaže, anegdote, zbirke "ozbiljne" poezije...

Sam Momčilo Popadić pisao je, živio i otišao brzo, ali njegovo djelo živi i živjet će u strpjenstvu.

Kako je prije otprilike godinu dana poslovično mudro najavio urednički i novinarski doajen Mario Garber, ovo je trebala biti godina Tome i Mome, Tome Bebića i Momčila Popadića, njegovih prijatelja i naših legendi koji su partili prije točno trideset godina.

Očekivala su se različita događanja i pokroviteljstva, posebne knjige i publikacije, koncerti, tematske večeri, prilozi i separati. Ali došla je nesretna pandemija pa se i sam Garber našalio da je Godina Tome i Mome postala Godina korone. Doduše, korona je lijenčinama i ignorantima došla kao isprika da ne poduzmu ništa, kao što i nisu.

Ali obljetnica dvaju velikana dalmatinske misli, pjesme, teksta, humora i uspravnoga životnog stava ne može se zaboraviti, posebno ne na današnji dan, 20. studenoga, studeno mu bilo, kada je Popadić otišao u svojoj tek 43. godini.

U ovome nesretnome koronskome ljetu, kada nas je napustio i njegov prijatelj Rajko Dujmić, podsjećanje na obljetnice smrti nije rijetka i vesela rabota. Ali ima ljudi koji su naprosto nezaobilazni. Takav je Pop. Naravno i Toma. Njih se može preskakati, zaobilaziti, ignorirati, odšućivati i preglasavati. Ali oni će se uvijek vraćati.

GLUMAC I AMATER

Iako novine, kaže definicija, žive jedan dan, čitatelji se još sjećaju Popadićevih reportaža iz Dalmacije, Sarajeva, s balkanskih cesta i gudura kao da su objavljene jutros. Gotovo da nema dana da do vas ne dopre neki hit i pjesma za koju je Popadić napisao stihove. Popovi tekstovi posebno se pamte, izgleda kao i sve što je radio. Čini se ipak da netom otišloga Kiću Slabinca nije počastio nekim stihovima. Nitko nije savršen, ni svemoguć.

Pop se pojavljuje iznenada, kao nekidan u HTV-ovoj emisiji "Što je klasik", kad ga je u sjećanje prizvao Luko Paljetak, sjetivši se njihove studentske predstave kad su prvi i jedini uprizorili, kažu najbolji, poetsko-dramski tekst Federica Garcije Lorce, u kojem je Pop igrao. Bio je i kazalištarac. I amater.

Sjećaju se Popadića brojni prijatelji i znanci, nove generacije čitatelja, ma koliko zaborav i tipovanje na sitne zvjezdice, točnije rečeno meteore, bili obilježja našeg današnjeg trenutka. I onda kad ne bude nas bilo ostat će “Oprosti mi, pape”, “Tonka”, “Ča je život vengo fantažija”, “Ne budi me, mati”, "Košulja plava", “Skitnica”, “Morski pas”, ostat će lirska proza “Živit u strpjenstvu ili Momo, zašto se kriviš”, reportaže, anegdote, zbirke "ozbiljne" poezije...

Sam Momčilo Popadić pisao je, živio i otišao brzo, ali njegovo djelo živi i živjet će u strpjenstvu.
