148 tweetova poslužilo je kao inspiracija za scenarij američkog nezavisnog filma "Zola", nastalog u produkciji kompanije A24 zadužene za "indie" dragulje ("American Honey", "Projekt Florida", "Valovi", "Osmi razred"...). I tu smo adaptaciju, dakle, doživjeli.

Što je sljedeće nakon pionirskog Twitter/film ostvarenja? Ekranizacija nečijeg statusa na Fejsu? No, šalu na stranu, "Zola" redateljice i koscenaristice Janicze Bravo ispala je prilična ludnica od filma, a korisnici Twittera možda i pamte o čemu se tu ustvari radi.

Prije šest godina, krajem listopada 2015., izvjesna A'Ziah King, nadimka Zola, započela je višemetarski "thread" na Twitteru kad je objavila fotke sebe i druge žene, uz pitanje s blizu deset upitnika "Ljudi, želite li čuti priču o tome zašto smo se ja i ova kuja posvadile" i dodatak "Traje dugo, ali je puna napetosti".

U narednim tweetovima, koji su se napeto iščekivali, Zola je ispričala priču o putu u Floridu s Jessicom (u filmu Stefani) da tamo zaradi novac kao striptizeta.

No, upala je u situacije, kao iz filma, sa svodnicima, prostutucijom, pištoljima, sve dok nije podvukla crtu kad joj je prekipjelo i rekla "Moram, ono, poći kući. Žao mi je što sam partibrejkerica, ali ne mogu više ovo podnijeti". Rođena pripovjedačica modernog doba s uhom za internetski jezik/jezik društvenih mreža koji Bravo prenosi na svoj "indie" film s pripadajućim kraticama ("idk"/"I don’t know" itd.) i grabi pozornost od prvog hipnotičkog kadra.

U stiliziranom kadru, pred ogledalima, nalaze se dvije sređene i atraktivne mlađe žene, crna Zola i bijela Stefani (Taylour Paige i Riley Keough). Prvi kadar reflektira Zolu i "Zolu" prije nego glavni ženski lik postavi ono pitanje s Twittera na koje gledatelj želi doznati odgovor, među ostalim i zahvaljujući raspoloženim i atraktivnim glumicama.

Unuka Elvisa Presleya, Keough, sad je već postala zaštitni znak nezavisn(ij)e američke kinematografije, od "American Honey" do "Skrivene poruke", "Kuće koju je izgradio Jack", "Kolibe" i "The Devil All the Time", a Paige smo mogli opazili u filmovima "Bijelac Rick" i "Ma Rainey: Majka Bluesa", ali ovdje se nameće kao pravo otkriće i dobra je u naslovnoj ulozi i interakciji s kolegicom.

Zola je u tren oka zbližila s Stefani toliko da je, iako su se tek upoznale, pristala odmah krenuti na zajedničko putovanje s njom, njezinim smotanim dečkom Derrekom (primjerena uloga za Nicholasa Brauna; "Nasljeđe") i misterioznim "cimerom" X-om (Colman Domingo; nedavno viđen u novom "Candymanu") koji je zapravo "pimp" s planom da ih uposli obje kad dođu na Floridu.

Instant prijateljice odlaze na Floridu plesati, tj. "klizati gore-dolje po šipci". "Ovo će biti zabavno", čujemo. I hoće, na onaj histerični crnohumorni, tragikomični krimi-dramski način kad se stvari otmu kontroli/pokažu drukčijima nego jesu kao u ranijim otkačenim filmovima braće Coen ("Veliki Lebowski") i Quentina Tarantina ("Pakleni šund").

Da su Coeni i Tarantino umiješali prste u "Spring Breakerse" Harmonyja Korinea i "Mandarinu" Seana Bakera, dobili bismo nešto poput "Zole". Na koncu konca, Domingo znade podsjetiti na Samuela L. Jacksona, a "Tangerine" se naveliko prikazivao po festivalima baš u jesen 2015., kad se rasplela "nit" Zolina Twittera.

Film izgleda kao spoj novovjekih nezavisnjaka i onih starijih iz devedesetih, s zamrznutim kadrovima likova itd. Bravo ima nezavisnjačkog "sundanceovskog" stila i neonska estetika filma je izvanredna kao u "Spring Breakersima", također nastalim u produkciji A24, ali nije prekopirana.

Neke scene i jarke boje su gotovo jednako upečatljive, kao jedan "kaleidoskopski" kadar Zole kako stoji i šminka se ispred pet zrcala, a kad se krene pričati Stefanina strana priče, mijenja se kolorit filma, pa i njegov ton. To na momente remeti balans "Zole", da je se može etiketirati kao neujednačenu, ali je očito bila namjera redateljice.

Vidljivo je da je film režirala žena pa su scene seksa lišene "male gaze" kadrova, točnije jedina golotinja je muška, na mahove i eksplicitna kad uslijedi suluda montaža raznolikih penisa. A kad se u kadru ukaže najveći penis, malčice će ga prekriti "heart emoji". "Zola" ima srca. ;-)

148 tweetova poslužilo je kao inspiracija za scenarij američkog nezavisnog filma "Zola", nastalog u produkciji kompanije A24 zadužene za "indie" dragulje ("American Honey", "Projekt Florida", "Valovi", "Osmi razred"...). I tu smo adaptaciju, dakle, doživjeli.

Što je sljedeće nakon pionirskog Twitter/film ostvarenja? Ekranizacija nečijeg statusa na Fejsu? No, šalu na stranu, "Zola" redateljice i koscenaristice Janicze Bravo ispala je prilična ludnica od filma, a korisnici Twittera možda i pamte o čemu se tu ustvari radi.

Prije šest godina, krajem listopada 2015., izvjesna A'Ziah King, nadimka Zola, započela je višemetarski "thread" na Twitteru kad je objavila fotke sebe i druge žene, uz pitanje s blizu deset upitnika "Ljudi, želite li čuti priču o tome zašto smo se ja i ova kuja posvadile" i dodatak "Traje dugo, ali je puna napetosti".

U narednim tweetovima, koji su se napeto iščekivali, Zola je ispričala priču o putu u Floridu s Jessicom (u filmu Stefani) da tamo zaradi novac kao striptizeta.

No, upala je u situacije, kao iz filma, sa svodnicima, prostutucijom, pištoljima, sve dok nije podvukla crtu kad joj je prekipjelo i rekla "Moram, ono, poći kući. Žao mi je što sam partibrejkerica, ali ne mogu više ovo podnijeti". Rođena pripovjedačica modernog doba s uhom za internetski jezik/jezik društvenih mreža koji Bravo prenosi na svoj "indie" film s pripadajućim kraticama ("idk"/"I don’t know" itd.) i grabi pozornost od prvog hipnotičkog kadra.

U stiliziranom kadru, pred ogledalima, nalaze se dvije sređene i atraktivne mlađe žene, crna Zola i bijela Stefani (Taylour Paige i Riley Keough). Prvi kadar reflektira Zolu i "Zolu" prije nego glavni ženski lik postavi ono pitanje s Twittera na koje gledatelj želi doznati odgovor, među ostalim i zahvaljujući raspoloženim i atraktivnim glumicama.

Unuka Elvisa Presleya, Keough, sad je već postala zaštitni znak nezavisn(ij)e američke kinematografije, od "American Honey" do "Skrivene poruke", "Kuće koju je izgradio Jack", "Kolibe" i "The Devil All the Time", a Paige smo mogli opazili u filmovima "Bijelac Rick" i "Ma Rainey: Majka Bluesa", ali ovdje se nameće kao pravo otkriće i dobra je u naslovnoj ulozi i interakciji s kolegicom.

Zola je u tren oka zbližila s Stefani toliko da je, iako su se tek upoznale, pristala odmah krenuti na zajedničko putovanje s njom, njezinim smotanim dečkom Derrekom (primjerena uloga za Nicholasa Brauna; "Nasljeđe") i misterioznim "cimerom" X-om (Colman Domingo; nedavno viđen u novom "Candymanu") koji je zapravo "pimp" s planom da ih uposli obje kad dođu na Floridu.

Instant prijateljice odlaze na Floridu plesati, tj. "klizati gore-dolje po šipci". "Ovo će biti zabavno", čujemo. I hoće, na onaj histerični crnohumorni, tragikomični krimi-dramski način kad se stvari otmu kontroli/pokažu drukčijima nego jesu kao u ranijim otkačenim filmovima braće Coen ("Veliki Lebowski") i Quentina Tarantina ("Pakleni šund").

Da su Coeni i Tarantino umiješali prste u "Spring Breakerse" Harmonyja Korinea i "Mandarinu" Seana Bakera, dobili bismo nešto poput "Zole". Na koncu konca, Domingo znade podsjetiti na Samuela L. Jacksona, a "Tangerine" se naveliko prikazivao po festivalima baš u jesen 2015., kad se rasplela "nit" Zolina Twittera.

Film izgleda kao spoj novovjekih nezavisnjaka i onih starijih iz devedesetih, s zamrznutim kadrovima likova itd. Bravo ima nezavisnjačkog "sundanceovskog" stila i neonska estetika filma je izvanredna kao u "Spring Breakersima", također nastalim u produkciji A24, ali nije prekopirana.

Neke scene i jarke boje su gotovo jednako upečatljive, kao jedan "kaleidoskopski" kadar Zole kako stoji i šminka se ispred pet zrcala, a kad se krene pričati Stefanina strana priče, mijenja se kolorit filma, pa i njegov ton. To na momente remeti balans "Zole", da je se može etiketirati kao neujednačenu, ali je očito bila namjera redateljice.

Vidljivo je da je film režirala žena pa su scene seksa lišene "male gaze" kadrova, točnije jedina golotinja je muška, na mahove i eksplicitna kad uslijedi suluda montaža raznolikih penisa. A kad se u kadru ukaže najveći penis, malčice će ga prekriti "heart emoji". "Zola" ima srca. ;-)
