Netflix nastavlja sa serijom dobrih ili odličnih dokumentaraca, pa je nedavno objavljena dokumentarna serija iz epizode "Waco: Američka apokalipsa".

Dakako, riječ je o događajima s početka 1993. godine i opsade kompleksa u kojem su se zabarikadirali pripadnici vjerske sekte koju je vodio David Koresh. U tom masakru kao posljedice opsade koja je potrajala punih 51 dan smrtno su stradala četvorica saveznih agenata, te 82 člana sekte, a među njima su bila i djeca, njih 28-ero. Seriju je režirao Tiller Russell.

Dokumentarac vas odmah "udara u glavu", odnosno ne počinje s pričom o povijesti same sekti ili Koreshu, i kako su ti ljudi došli u Waco, u američkom Teksasu, već kreće s prvim pokoljem. Nakon saznanja da su Koreshovi "vjernici" naoružani do zuba (na poprištu zločina bit će na kraju okršaja izbrojeno 1,6 milijuna čahura), agenti su s nalogom za premetačinu pokucali na vrata Koreshove utvrde.

Uslijedio je pakleni odgovor. Četiri su agenta ubijena, a ranjenih pripadnika reda bilo je toliko da su ih prevozili na haubama reporterskih kola.

Odgovor Sjedinjenih Država bio je očekivan. Na poprište su stigli helikopteri, oklopna vozila, čak i tenkovi Abrams. Shvatili su s kim imaju posla.

Nizom nikad objavljenih snimki, ali i svjedočanstva, pratimo paralelno zbivanja u samom Wacou, a to su pregovori koji su za cilj imali izvući potpuno nedužnu djeca iz ruku vjerskih fanatika, kako bi se vlast mogla na miru obračunati s Koreshom i ekipom, kao i samu povijest ludila čovjeka koji je tvrdio da je sam Isus.

Koresh nije osnivač Davidijanaca, on je skupinu preuzeo nakon smrti žene koja je tu opskurnu skupinu u Teksasu i osnovala. I to je napravio nasilno. U borbi za vlast sa sinom prve šefice sekte koristio je vatreno oružje. Rupama u pravosuđu uspio je ostati s ove strane brave. A njegovo ludilo, potencirano živčanim slomom, tada je krenulo...

Nije problematično što je on vjerovao da je Isus, problematično je što je bilo dovoljno ljudi koji su u to povjerovali i slijedili ga do kraja. No najstrašnije u tome jest što je svoju sljedbu pretvorio u seksualno roblje, pedofil Koresh silovao je djecu od 10 godina (jedna njegova sljednica u dokumentarcu govori kako to nije strašno, i da su 12-godišnjakinje zapravo dovoljno odrasle da prime "Božje sjeme"), razdvajao je bračne parove, da bi onda samo on spavao sa ženama.

Tako jedna od njih u dokumentarcu kaže kako je silno željela završiti u krevetu s Isusom, i da zapravo to nije bio seks. Ne, mi smo pričali o Bibliji, objasnila je.

Ludilo Koresha i njegovih zaslijepljenih sljedbenika, suprotstavila se potpuna doslovna trapavost, ali i međusobno podmetanje druge strane. Dok su članovi pregovaračkog tima radili sve, pa u tome i uspijevali, da izvuku što više djece iz kompleksa, dotle su članovi antiterorističkog odjela jedva čekali udariti svom snagom na Koresha i njegove vojnike.

Vrhunac koji to prikazuje jest priča o pomahnitalom FBI-ovcu koji predlaže da se s Abramsom uđu u utvrdu i jednostavno vozika od jednog zida do drugog, pa tko preživi.

Nižu se snimke iz pregovaračke sobe, snimke ranjenog Koresha, ispovijesti sudionika, poput one snajperista koji je u jednom trenutku imao Koresha na nišanu. "Ciljnik je bio na nosu, trebao sam samo pritisnuti, i gotovo."

Nije imao dozvolu za pucanj, ali je bio svjestan da bi samo jednim metkom spasio 90 života. Da, i sebe bi doživotno strpao iza rešetaka, ali...

Je li bilo moguće izbjeći tragediju. Je li se moglo spasiti više života? Sva pitanja ostaju otvorena? Dokumentarc odlično suprostavlja obje strane, daje riječ svim preživjelim sudionicima, koji su i danas, nakon trideset godina, na potpuno istim, dakako suprostavljenim pozicijama. Ne zaboravimo da je Waco zapravo bio okidač čitavom nizu pomahnitalih pojedinaca i skupina koji su krenuli u okršaj s državom. Naznaku toga daje i sam dokumentarac.

Pitanje na kraju jest - kako je moguće da se ovakve stvari događaju. Treba samo pogledati oči žene koja je bila u najužem krugu oko Koresha, pripadala je tzv. Moćnicima, nešto kao Hitlerov SS, i koja će na kraju sasvim ozbiljno zaključiti kako svi ti ljudi oko Koresha nisu poginuli uzalud. Jer su slavili Boga. Koresha. I nemojmo se zavaravati, takvih poremećenih fanatika ima i danas, možda više nego ikad.

Serija je vrlo zanimljiva, odlično napravljena, epizode traju po 50-ak minuta i pogledat ćete je u jednoj večeri.

U trenutku smrti David Koresh imao je 33 godine.

Netflix nastavlja sa serijom dobrih ili odličnih dokumentaraca, pa je nedavno objavljena dokumentarna serija iz epizode "Waco: Američka apokalipsa".

Dakako, riječ je o događajima s početka 1993. godine i opsade kompleksa u kojem su se zabarikadirali pripadnici vjerske sekte koju je vodio David Koresh. U tom masakru kao posljedice opsade koja je potrajala punih 51 dan smrtno su stradala četvorica saveznih agenata, te 82 člana sekte, a među njima su bila i djeca, njih 28-ero. Seriju je režirao Tiller Russell.

Dokumentarac vas odmah "udara u glavu", odnosno ne počinje s pričom o povijesti same sekti ili Koreshu, i kako su ti ljudi došli u Waco, u američkom Teksasu, već kreće s prvim pokoljem. Nakon saznanja da su Koreshovi "vjernici" naoružani do zuba (na poprištu zločina bit će na kraju okršaja izbrojeno 1,6 milijuna čahura), agenti su s nalogom za premetačinu pokucali na vrata Koreshove utvrde.

Uslijedio je pakleni odgovor. Četiri su agenta ubijena, a ranjenih pripadnika reda bilo je toliko da su ih prevozili na haubama reporterskih kola.

Odgovor Sjedinjenih Država bio je očekivan. Na poprište su stigli helikopteri, oklopna vozila, čak i tenkovi Abrams. Shvatili su s kim imaju posla.

Nizom nikad objavljenih snimki, ali i svjedočanstva, pratimo paralelno zbivanja u samom Wacou, a to su pregovori koji su za cilj imali izvući potpuno nedužnu djeca iz ruku vjerskih fanatika, kako bi se vlast mogla na miru obračunati s Koreshom i ekipom, kao i samu povijest ludila čovjeka koji je tvrdio da je sam Isus.

Koresh nije osnivač Davidijanaca, on je skupinu preuzeo nakon smrti žene koja je tu opskurnu skupinu u Teksasu i osnovala. I to je napravio nasilno. U borbi za vlast sa sinom prve šefice sekte koristio je vatreno oružje. Rupama u pravosuđu uspio je ostati s ove strane brave. A njegovo ludilo, potencirano živčanim slomom, tada je krenulo...

Nije problematično što je on vjerovao da je Isus, problematično je što je bilo dovoljno ljudi koji su u to povjerovali i slijedili ga do kraja. No najstrašnije u tome jest što je svoju sljedbu pretvorio u seksualno roblje, pedofil Koresh silovao je djecu od 10 godina (jedna njegova sljednica u dokumentarcu govori kako to nije strašno, i da su 12-godišnjakinje zapravo dovoljno odrasle da prime "Božje sjeme"), razdvajao je bračne parove, da bi onda samo on spavao sa ženama.

Tako jedna od njih u dokumentarcu kaže kako je silno željela završiti u krevetu s Isusom, i da zapravo to nije bio seks. Ne, mi smo pričali o Bibliji, objasnila je.

Ludilo Koresha i njegovih zaslijepljenih sljedbenika, suprotstavila se potpuna doslovna trapavost, ali i međusobno podmetanje druge strane. Dok su članovi pregovaračkog tima radili sve, pa u tome i uspijevali, da izvuku što više djece iz kompleksa, dotle su članovi antiterorističkog odjela jedva čekali udariti svom snagom na Koresha i njegove vojnike.

Vrhunac koji to prikazuje jest priča o pomahnitalom FBI-ovcu koji predlaže da se s Abramsom uđu u utvrdu i jednostavno vozika od jednog zida do drugog, pa tko preživi.

Nižu se snimke iz pregovaračke sobe, snimke ranjenog Koresha, ispovijesti sudionika, poput one snajperista koji je u jednom trenutku imao Koresha na nišanu. "Ciljnik je bio na nosu, trebao sam samo pritisnuti, i gotovo."

Nije imao dozvolu za pucanj, ali je bio svjestan da bi samo jednim metkom spasio 90 života. Da, i sebe bi doživotno strpao iza rešetaka, ali...

Je li bilo moguće izbjeći tragediju. Je li se moglo spasiti više života? Sva pitanja ostaju otvorena? Dokumentarc odlično suprostavlja obje strane, daje riječ svim preživjelim sudionicima, koji su i danas, nakon trideset godina, na potpuno istim, dakako suprostavljenim pozicijama. Ne zaboravimo da je Waco zapravo bio okidač čitavom nizu pomahnitalih pojedinaca i skupina koji su krenuli u okršaj s državom. Naznaku toga daje i sam dokumentarac.

Pitanje na kraju jest - kako je moguće da se ovakve stvari događaju. Treba samo pogledati oči žene koja je bila u najužem krugu oko Koresha, pripadala je tzv. Moćnicima, nešto kao Hitlerov SS, i koja će na kraju sasvim ozbiljno zaključiti kako svi ti ljudi oko Koresha nisu poginuli uzalud. Jer su slavili Boga. Koresha. I nemojmo se zavaravati, takvih poremećenih fanatika ima i danas, možda više nego ikad.

Serija je vrlo zanimljiva, odlično napravljena, epizode traju po 50-ak minuta i pogledat ćete je u jednoj večeri.

U trenutku smrti David Koresh imao je 33 godine.
