Druga sezona "Nasljeđa" ("Succession") našla se u samom vrhu najboljih serija 2019. godine po izboru "Slobodne", a tako bi mogla i treća, ako je suditi po odgledanih prvih sedam od ukupno devet epizoda pred početak emitiranja ovog ponedjeljka, 18.listopada, na HBO-u. "Nasljeđe" je još uvijek u top-formi kao jedna od rijetkih novijih serija, uz recimo Netflixove "The Crown" i "Ozark", koja ne blijedi s novim nastavcima.

Naprotiv, svaka iduća sezona jednako je dobra, ako ne i bolja od prethodne, te privlači sve više gledatelja. Prva sezona "Successiona" prošla je mnogima ispod radara, ali "Succession 2" je seriju kreatora i izvršnog producenta Jesseja Armstronga postavio u centar pažnje.

Vidljivo je to i po nagradama: "Nasljeđe" je 2019. imalo više nominacija za Emmy nego što ih je osvojilo, a 2020. gotovo obratna situacija – serija je pomela dodjelu i osvojila tucet nagrada u konkurenciji s teškašima kao što su "Kruna", "Ozark 2" i "Nazovi Saula", ali i "Stranger Things", "Sluškinjina priča", "Ubijanje Eve", "Mandalorian".

Za drugu sezonu "Succession" je osvojio i Zlatni globus kao najbolja drama, a Brian Cox u kategoriji glavnoga glumca. Time je serija napokon potvrđena kao odličan i odlično glumljen televizijski manevar između obiteljske drame i crne komedije, svojevrstan tragikomični korporativni "Kralj Lear", dok je isprve samo Armstrong bio prepoznat kao scenarist, nagrađen Emmyjem već za prvu sezonu.

Treća sezona "Nasljeđa" ponovno podsjeća koliko je scenarij serije bitan. Armstrong piše nadahnuto, njegove rečenice su inteligentno konstruirane i toliko brutalne da ih se ne može citirati u novinama.

Opservacijski pametan i crnohumorno zabavan tekst može podsjetiti na filmove redatelja Adama McKaya ("Oklada stoljeća", "Čovjek iz sjene"), od kojih serija posuđuje doku-dramsku režiju pa nije čudno da je on jedan od producenata i da je sam režirao poneku epizodu.

No, pogođeni glumci iz izvrsnog ansambla nanovo su svojim verbalnim interakcijama i neprestanim konfliktima načinili da tekst zaživi na ekranu, od Coxa, preko Jeremyja Stronga, Sarah Snook, Kierana Culkina, Alana Rucka, Nicholasa Brauna i Matthewa Macfadyena, do Hiam Abbass, Harriet Walter i Jamesa Cromwella, a pojačanja u trećoj sezoni čine Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Adrien Brody...

Svaka izvedba je opet izvrsna, od glavnih do sporednih. Prednjači, dakako, Cox kao Logan Roy, lik inspiriran medijskim mogulima poput Ruperta Murdocha i Williama Randolpha Hearsta (potonji je bio inspiracija za "Građanina Kanea").

Logan je ostarjeli vođa jednog od najvećih konglomerata za medije i zabavu na svijetu. U stopu ga prate i Strong, Snook, Culkin i Ruck u ulogama Loganove djece i potencijalnih nasljednika Kendalla, Shiv, Romana i Connora.

Lannisterovi su takoreći mala beba za Royeve i njihovu igru korporativnog prijestolja. Djeci nije problem izdati oca koji razmišlja o povlačenju iz kompanije ili mu prirediti zasjedu ne bi li, gladni milijuna dolara, zgrabili najveći kolač njegova medijskog imperija. S nečim takvim je i završila druga sezona, zaslugom razmetnog sina, o kokainu ovisnog Kendalla.

"Succession 3" nastavlja gdje je stala druga sezona i spreman je nadmašiti prethodnike u pogledu nekih vizionarskih uvida tipa "Informacija će biti vrijednija od vode idućih 100 godina", naročito kritike korporativnih spletki, korupcije moći, grebanja za poziciju, sklapanja i raskidanja saveza, a odvest će Logana i do Balkana ("Dobrodošli u Sarajevo!").

Serija je spremna nadmašiti prethodnike i po humaniziranju likova krajnje disfunkcionalne obitelji. Koliko god znali djelovati neljudski, likovi imaju prepoznatljive ljudske mane (od pohlepe nadalje), pate od tjeskobe i autodestruktivnosti itd. Generalno, to su likovi kakve prosječan gledatelj inače voli mrziti, ali ih je zavolio gledati i biti u njihovu društvu preko televizije, na sigurnosnoj distanciji od svijeta kojemu "uživo" ionako ne pripada.

Druga sezona "Nasljeđa" ("Succession") našla se u samom vrhu najboljih serija 2019. godine po izboru "Slobodne", a tako bi mogla i treća, ako je suditi po odgledanih prvih sedam od ukupno devet epizoda pred početak emitiranja ovog ponedjeljka, 18.listopada, na HBO-u. "Nasljeđe" je još uvijek u top-formi kao jedna od rijetkih novijih serija, uz recimo Netflixove "The Crown" i "Ozark", koja ne blijedi s novim nastavcima.

Naprotiv, svaka iduća sezona jednako je dobra, ako ne i bolja od prethodne, te privlači sve više gledatelja. Prva sezona "Successiona" prošla je mnogima ispod radara, ali "Succession 2" je seriju kreatora i izvršnog producenta Jesseja Armstronga postavio u centar pažnje.

Vidljivo je to i po nagradama: "Nasljeđe" je 2019. imalo više nominacija za Emmy nego što ih je osvojilo, a 2020. gotovo obratna situacija – serija je pomela dodjelu i osvojila tucet nagrada u konkurenciji s teškašima kao što su "Kruna", "Ozark 2" i "Nazovi Saula", ali i "Stranger Things", "Sluškinjina priča", "Ubijanje Eve", "Mandalorian".

Za drugu sezonu "Succession" je osvojio i Zlatni globus kao najbolja drama, a Brian Cox u kategoriji glavnoga glumca. Time je serija napokon potvrđena kao odličan i odlično glumljen televizijski manevar između obiteljske drame i crne komedije, svojevrstan tragikomični korporativni "Kralj Lear", dok je isprve samo Armstrong bio prepoznat kao scenarist, nagrađen Emmyjem već za prvu sezonu.

Treća sezona "Nasljeđa" ponovno podsjeća koliko je scenarij serije bitan. Armstrong piše nadahnuto, njegove rečenice su inteligentno konstruirane i toliko brutalne da ih se ne može citirati u novinama.

Opservacijski pametan i crnohumorno zabavan tekst može podsjetiti na filmove redatelja Adama McKaya ("Oklada stoljeća", "Čovjek iz sjene"), od kojih serija posuđuje doku-dramsku režiju pa nije čudno da je on jedan od producenata i da je sam režirao poneku epizodu.

No, pogođeni glumci iz izvrsnog ansambla nanovo su svojim verbalnim interakcijama i neprestanim konfliktima načinili da tekst zaživi na ekranu, od Coxa, preko Jeremyja Stronga, Sarah Snook, Kierana Culkina, Alana Rucka, Nicholasa Brauna i Matthewa Macfadyena, do Hiam Abbass, Harriet Walter i Jamesa Cromwella, a pojačanja u trećoj sezoni čine Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Adrien Brody...

Svaka izvedba je opet izvrsna, od glavnih do sporednih. Prednjači, dakako, Cox kao Logan Roy, lik inspiriran medijskim mogulima poput Ruperta Murdocha i Williama Randolpha Hearsta (potonji je bio inspiracija za "Građanina Kanea").

Logan je ostarjeli vođa jednog od najvećih konglomerata za medije i zabavu na svijetu. U stopu ga prate i Strong, Snook, Culkin i Ruck u ulogama Loganove djece i potencijalnih nasljednika Kendalla, Shiv, Romana i Connora.

Lannisterovi su takoreći mala beba za Royeve i njihovu igru korporativnog prijestolja. Djeci nije problem izdati oca koji razmišlja o povlačenju iz kompanije ili mu prirediti zasjedu ne bi li, gladni milijuna dolara, zgrabili najveći kolač njegova medijskog imperija. S nečim takvim je i završila druga sezona, zaslugom razmetnog sina, o kokainu ovisnog Kendalla.

"Succession 3" nastavlja gdje je stala druga sezona i spreman je nadmašiti prethodnike u pogledu nekih vizionarskih uvida tipa "Informacija će biti vrijednija od vode idućih 100 godina", naročito kritike korporativnih spletki, korupcije moći, grebanja za poziciju, sklapanja i raskidanja saveza, a odvest će Logana i do Balkana ("Dobrodošli u Sarajevo!").

Serija je spremna nadmašiti prethodnike i po humaniziranju likova krajnje disfunkcionalne obitelji. Koliko god znali djelovati neljudski, likovi imaju prepoznatljive ljudske mane (od pohlepe nadalje), pate od tjeskobe i autodestruktivnosti itd. Generalno, to su likovi kakve prosječan gledatelj inače voli mrziti, ali ih je zavolio gledati i biti u njihovu društvu preko televizije, na sigurnosnoj distanciji od svijeta kojemu "uživo" ionako ne pripada.
