Inače bismo zakolutali očima na još jedno ponavljanje već iskorištenih hrvatskih naslova za neke novije filmove (najmanje tri “Doušnika”, “The Contractor” kao tko zna koji po redu “Plaćenik”), no u slučaju novog akcijskog trilera Gerarda Butlera, to je štosno. Naime, “Plane” je preveden kao “Opasan let”, što je bio podnaslov avionskog akcijskog spektakla “Con Air”, ali film ionako nastoji evocirati takve akcije služeći kao zagrijavanje za nadolazeće nastavke “Johna Wicka” i “Nemoguće misije”.

”Opasan let” pilotira natrag u devedesete, vrijeme njihove najveće popularnosti. “Con Air” je jedan od najvećih uzora žanrovskom režiseru Jean-Françoisu Richetu (“Državni neprijatelj br. 1”, “Krvna osveta”, “Vladar Pariza”), kao i “Putnik 57” i “Air Force One”. Vidljivo je to po osnovnoj priči i likovima.

Imamo junačkog pilota Brodieja Torrancea (Butler) i izručenje ubojice-bjegunca Louisa Gasparea (Mike Colter) koji je u lisičinama doveden baš na njegov let netom prije polijetanja. Međutim, zatvorenik neće usred leta i zauzeti avion a la “Passenger 57” i “Con Air”.

Neće ni herojski uvijek pouzdani Butler uzviknuti nešto u stilu “Izlazi iz mog zrakoplova!” poput Harrisona Forda u “Air Force One”. Unatoč načelnoj predvidljivosti, “Plane” krije poneko iznenađenje i radi varijaciju na znanu akciju. Richet manevrira na relaciji klaustrofobični “disaster movie” – razvedeni akcijski triler.

Nevrijeme je isprve negativac filma: Torrance je prisiljen letjeti kroz oluju i to je dočarano prilično intenzivno kad je kamera pozicionirana u unutrašnjosti aviona, iako se intenzitet gubi pri pogledu na zrakoplov izvana zahvaljujući ne odveć uvjerljivim vizualnim efektima. Kad munja sprži elektroniku, Torrance budi u sebi Sullyja Sullenbergera (“Čudo s Hudsona”) i spreman je sletjeti na ocean, ali srećom u zadnji čas uočava obližnji otok i slijeće na cestu usred džungle.

Tad “Opasan let” varira središnju scenu “Con Aira” (okršaj zatvorenika s nacionalnom gardom na tlu prije ponovnog uzlijetanja), mijenjajući protagoniste/antagoniste akcije, odnosno pustinju za džunglu gdje bi se mogao naći i Rambo, premda oči znade zabosti jeftnjikava fotografija lišena boja koja upućuje na to da se film prije snimio negdje u Istočnoj Europi, ne u Puertu Ricu.

Torrance je sletio na otok u filipinskom otočju Jolo, a tamo vlada bezakonje i drže ga separatisti i kriminalci koji će oteti putnike i članove posade pa ih samo junački pilot i iskupnički zatvorenik mogu spasiti kao (ne)očekivani akcijski “buddy” duo u filmu franšizna potencijala, prvi s poviješću u RAF-u, drugi kao netko tko je bio u Legiji stranca.

Ipak, akcijaš starog kova Butler ovdje je više “everyman” i treba mu minuta da dođe do daha, za razliku od uloge u hitu “Pad Olimpa” na koji “Plane” podsjeća kad Torrance stupi u kontakt sa zapovjedništvom aviokompanije, što su akcijski junaci devedesetih obično radili u ovakvom tipu filma, makar obično budu na liniji s Pentagonom (“Pod opsadom”, “Hrid”, "Pod opsadom 2").

Najimpresivnija akcijska scena “Opasnog leta” dolazi u trenutku Torranceove žestoke grčevite borbe na život i smrt protiv krupnijeg protivnika, režirane u jednom neprekinutom kadru, s kamerom fokusiranijom na junaka i njegov doživljaj zbivanja.

Sve ostalo je više-manje po akcijsko-trilerskom “ps-u”, izuzme li se i kasnija uporaba “ramboidne” pušketine koja mecima raznosi negativce skrivene iza vozila. “Plane” nije nadahnuto režiran, ali jest dovoljno propulzivan, tenzičan i funkcionalan. Taman za jedno gledanje, tj. presjedanje do idućeg leta s “vraškim pilotom” Butlerom.

Richet je u Americi debitirao s remakeom "Napada na policijsku stanicu". U ulozi stjuardese nastupa Daniella Pineda viđena u nastavcima "Jurskog svijeta".

Inače bismo zakolutali očima na još jedno ponavljanje već iskorištenih hrvatskih naslova za neke novije filmove (najmanje tri “Doušnika”, “The Contractor” kao tko zna koji po redu “Plaćenik”), no u slučaju novog akcijskog trilera Gerarda Butlera, to je štosno. Naime, “Plane” je preveden kao “Opasan let”, što je bio podnaslov avionskog akcijskog spektakla “Con Air”, ali film ionako nastoji evocirati takve akcije služeći kao zagrijavanje za nadolazeće nastavke “Johna Wicka” i “Nemoguće misije”.

”Opasan let” pilotira natrag u devedesete, vrijeme njihove najveće popularnosti. “Con Air” je jedan od najvećih uzora žanrovskom režiseru Jean-Françoisu Richetu (“Državni neprijatelj br. 1”, “Krvna osveta”, “Vladar Pariza”), kao i “Putnik 57” i “Air Force One”. Vidljivo je to po osnovnoj priči i likovima.

Imamo junačkog pilota Brodieja Torrancea (Butler) i izručenje ubojice-bjegunca Louisa Gasparea (Mike Colter) koji je u lisičinama doveden baš na njegov let netom prije polijetanja. Međutim, zatvorenik neće usred leta i zauzeti avion a la “Passenger 57” i “Con Air”.

Neće ni herojski uvijek pouzdani Butler uzviknuti nešto u stilu “Izlazi iz mog zrakoplova!” poput Harrisona Forda u “Air Force One”. Unatoč načelnoj predvidljivosti, “Plane” krije poneko iznenađenje i radi varijaciju na znanu akciju. Richet manevrira na relaciji klaustrofobični “disaster movie” – razvedeni akcijski triler.

Nevrijeme je isprve negativac filma: Torrance je prisiljen letjeti kroz oluju i to je dočarano prilično intenzivno kad je kamera pozicionirana u unutrašnjosti aviona, iako se intenzitet gubi pri pogledu na zrakoplov izvana zahvaljujući ne odveć uvjerljivim vizualnim efektima. Kad munja sprži elektroniku, Torrance budi u sebi Sullyja Sullenbergera (“Čudo s Hudsona”) i spreman je sletjeti na ocean, ali srećom u zadnji čas uočava obližnji otok i slijeće na cestu usred džungle.

Tad “Opasan let” varira središnju scenu “Con Aira” (okršaj zatvorenika s nacionalnom gardom na tlu prije ponovnog uzlijetanja), mijenjajući protagoniste/antagoniste akcije, odnosno pustinju za džunglu gdje bi se mogao naći i Rambo, premda oči znade zabosti jeftnjikava fotografija lišena boja koja upućuje na to da se film prije snimio negdje u Istočnoj Europi, ne u Puertu Ricu.

Torrance je sletio na otok u filipinskom otočju Jolo, a tamo vlada bezakonje i drže ga separatisti i kriminalci koji će oteti putnike i članove posade pa ih samo junački pilot i iskupnički zatvorenik mogu spasiti kao (ne)očekivani akcijski “buddy” duo u filmu franšizna potencijala, prvi s poviješću u RAF-u, drugi kao netko tko je bio u Legiji stranca.

Ipak, akcijaš starog kova Butler ovdje je više “everyman” i treba mu minuta da dođe do daha, za razliku od uloge u hitu “Pad Olimpa” na koji “Plane” podsjeća kad Torrance stupi u kontakt sa zapovjedništvom aviokompanije, što su akcijski junaci devedesetih obično radili u ovakvom tipu filma, makar obično budu na liniji s Pentagonom (“Pod opsadom”, “Hrid”, "Pod opsadom 2").

Najimpresivnija akcijska scena “Opasnog leta” dolazi u trenutku Torranceove žestoke grčevite borbe na život i smrt protiv krupnijeg protivnika, režirane u jednom neprekinutom kadru, s kamerom fokusiranijom na junaka i njegov doživljaj zbivanja.

Sve ostalo je više-manje po akcijsko-trilerskom “ps-u”, izuzme li se i kasnija uporaba “ramboidne” pušketine koja mecima raznosi negativce skrivene iza vozila. “Plane” nije nadahnuto režiran, ali jest dovoljno propulzivan, tenzičan i funkcionalan. Taman za jedno gledanje, tj. presjedanje do idućeg leta s “vraškim pilotom” Butlerom.

Richet je u Americi debitirao s remakeom "Napada na policijsku stanicu". U ulozi stjuardese nastupa Daniella Pineda viđena u nastavcima "Jurskog svijeta".
