Najavljivali smo film prije nekoliko tjedana i - evo ga. "Corona Zombies", nije šala, doista je ugledao svjetlo interneta. Zombi hororčić/komedijica redatelja i producenta Charlesa Banda ulazi u povijest kao prvi film s tematikom korone. Dobro, film je možda preteška riječ za "Corona Zombies" jer se isti jedva jedvice može klasificirati kao takav.
Traje svega sat vremena, od čega plafon deset minuta otpada na nove, originalne snimke. Ostatak, tj. većina skrojen(a) je od kadrova kultnih eksploatacijskih zombi filmova iz 1980. i 2012. - "Hell Of The Living Dead" dvojca Bruno Mattei-Claudio Fragasso (znan i kao "Virus", "Zombie Creeping Flesh" i "Zombie Inferno") te "Zombies vs. Strippers" Alexa Nicolaoua.

Band je posegnuo za eksperimentom kao Woody Allen u svom redateljskom prvijencu "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" iz davne 1966.
Allen je iskoristio kadrove godinu starijeg japanskog špijunskog filma "International Secret Police: Key Of Keys", preko njih nasinkronizirao vlastiti dijalog koji se kosio s izvornim zapletom i dodao neke nove scene, što je rezultiralo promjenom tona i žanra originalnog materijala od "bondovske" akcije do apsurdističke komedije.
Sličan postupak je napravljen i u "Corona Zombies", ali bez veće promjene tona/žanra s obzirom da je posrijedi i dalje zombi film poput "Hell Of The Living Dead" i "Zombies vs. Strippers", samo "trasherski" potenciran i satirički/kritički "apdejtan" za naše vrijeme kad su "socijalna distanca i pranje ruku nova norma", odnosno "nije dobro biti germofob", kako zaključi prsata praznoglava plavuša Barbie (Cody Renee Cameron).
Barbie razgovara preko mobitela s frendicom Kendrom (Robin Sydney glasom, ne i stasom), a u podlozi njihove ćakule prijelomne vijesti javljaju o simptomima koronavirusa i kriznom stanju. Nestašica toaletnog papira, sredstava za dezinfekciju... znate već. "Jedna me žena zamalo napala karate udarcem zbog zadnjeg WC papira, kao da je od zlata", žali se Barbie.
Tijekom njihova razgovora, korona eskalira do ekstrema i zaraženi ljudi se "nekako" pretvore u zombije. U "nedostatku bolje riječi", spiker na TV-u ih titulira kao "koronske zombije". "Koronske zombije", pita se Barbie. "Da, koronske zombije", ponovi spiker, ponosan na kategorizaciju i naslov filma. I tada se počinje izlistavati filmski "kolaž" novog i starog materijala.
Trump na televiziji poručuje "bit ćete dobro" i "sve je gotovo do Uskrsa", u "stvarnosti" ljudi "doslovce ubijaju" zbog potrepština, a odred "korona specijalaca" je okupljen da uđe u trag pošiljci ukradenog WC papira, posjeti "ground zero" u vidu kineske tvornice juhe od šišmiša (zvuči poznato?) i usput terminira zombije.
Na uvodnoj špici "Corona Zombiesa" Band se zahvaljuje glumcima iz "Hell Of The Living Dead" i "Zombies vs. Strippers", s obzirom da im je stavio u usta novi dijalog i prenamijenio (kon)tekst tih filmova u koronske svrhe. To (ne)namjerno izgleda/zvuči lošnjikavo kao npr. prilikom sinkronizacije hongkonških kung fu akcija u osamdesetima.
Mnogi trenuci/dijalozi su deplasirani ("Volio bih poševiti kineskog kepeca!"), preočiti ("Probaj burger od oposuma idući put!") ili ne baš duhoviti ("Zombiji djeluju kao drogirani. Možda Charlie Sheen ima kuću ovdje negdje..."). Neki, međutim, pogađaju tešku metu, poput insertiranja prave snimke "spring breakerskih" korona-morona koji govore da ih virus neće omesti u okupljanju i partijanju.
Interesantno, zombiji najviše napadaju g(r)adove koji ignoriraju karantenu, s čime se "Corona Zombies" voli sprdati. "Odbij, zar nisi čuo za socijalnu distancu", ispali jedan lik zombiju uz metak. A kad specijalci tamane zombije, rade to "osvetnički" za sve žrtve (koronavirusa) i zatvaranje kina ili za to što ne peru ruke.
Jasno, nećemo utvarati da "Corona Zombies" nije loš film, naprotiv umnogome spada u "bože sačuvaj" kategoriju i na momente uspijeva izmamiti uzvik "Viruse, Kriste!". Međutim, u nedostatku nekog boljeg/drugog korona filma može poslužiti kao privremeni lijek za virus, jednosatna/jednostavna distrakcija od stvarnosti s kojom se ruga te podsjetnik na zaraznu suludost "Hell Of The Living Dead", svojevrsnog zombijevskog odgovora na kontroverzni ljudožderski horor "Cannibal Holocaust" iz iste 1980.
Inkorporacija kadrova iz kulta "Hell Of The Living Dead" na mahove je izvedena prilično nadahnuto u razini eksperimentalne kinematografije. Ne bi nas iznenadilo da "Corona Zombies" prikaže ovogodišnji Split Film Festival kao komad reakcionarnog eksperimenta.

Od leša iz ‘Neonskog demona‘ do korona zombija
Woody Allenov postupak još su bezočnije od Banda preuzeli autori foršpana za "Badass" s Dannyjem Trejom, koristeći akcijske scene s busom iz klasika "Red Heat". Band ima osjećaj za ironiju. Za "glavnu" ulogu je angažirao Cody Renee Cameron koja je glumila leš u filmu "Neon Demon".

Najavljivali smo film prije nekoliko tjedana i - evo ga. "Corona Zombies", nije šala, doista je ugledao svjetlo interneta. Zombi hororčić/komedijica redatelja i producenta Charlesa Banda ulazi u povijest kao prvi film s tematikom korone. Dobro, film je možda preteška riječ za "Corona Zombies" jer se isti jedva jedvice može klasificirati kao takav.
Traje svega sat vremena, od čega plafon deset minuta otpada na nove, originalne snimke. Ostatak, tj. većina skrojen(a) je od kadrova kultnih eksploatacijskih zombi filmova iz 1980. i 2012. - "Hell Of The Living Dead" dvojca Bruno Mattei-Claudio Fragasso (znan i kao "Virus", "Zombie Creeping Flesh" i "Zombie Inferno") te "Zombies vs. Strippers" Alexa Nicolaoua.

Band je posegnuo za eksperimentom kao Woody Allen u svom redateljskom prvijencu "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" iz davne 1966.
Allen je iskoristio kadrove godinu starijeg japanskog špijunskog filma "International Secret Police: Key Of Keys", preko njih nasinkronizirao vlastiti dijalog koji se kosio s izvornim zapletom i dodao neke nove scene, što je rezultiralo promjenom tona i žanra originalnog materijala od "bondovske" akcije do apsurdističke komedije.
Sličan postupak je napravljen i u "Corona Zombies", ali bez veće promjene tona/žanra s obzirom da je posrijedi i dalje zombi film poput "Hell Of The Living Dead" i "Zombies vs. Strippers", samo "trasherski" potenciran i satirički/kritički "apdejtan" za naše vrijeme kad su "socijalna distanca i pranje ruku nova norma", odnosno "nije dobro biti germofob", kako zaključi prsata praznoglava plavuša Barbie (Cody Renee Cameron).
Barbie razgovara preko mobitela s frendicom Kendrom (Robin Sydney glasom, ne i stasom), a u podlozi njihove ćakule prijelomne vijesti javljaju o simptomima koronavirusa i kriznom stanju. Nestašica toaletnog papira, sredstava za dezinfekciju... znate već. "Jedna me žena zamalo napala karate udarcem zbog zadnjeg WC papira, kao da je od zlata", žali se Barbie.
Tijekom njihova razgovora, korona eskalira do ekstrema i zaraženi ljudi se "nekako" pretvore u zombije. U "nedostatku bolje riječi", spiker na TV-u ih titulira kao "koronske zombije". "Koronske zombije", pita se Barbie. "Da, koronske zombije", ponovi spiker, ponosan na kategorizaciju i naslov filma. I tada se počinje izlistavati filmski "kolaž" novog i starog materijala.
Trump na televiziji poručuje "bit ćete dobro" i "sve je gotovo do Uskrsa", u "stvarnosti" ljudi "doslovce ubijaju" zbog potrepština, a odred "korona specijalaca" je okupljen da uđe u trag pošiljci ukradenog WC papira, posjeti "ground zero" u vidu kineske tvornice juhe od šišmiša (zvuči poznato?) i usput terminira zombije.
Na uvodnoj špici "Corona Zombiesa" Band se zahvaljuje glumcima iz "Hell Of The Living Dead" i "Zombies vs. Strippers", s obzirom da im je stavio u usta novi dijalog i prenamijenio (kon)tekst tih filmova u koronske svrhe. To (ne)namjerno izgleda/zvuči lošnjikavo kao npr. prilikom sinkronizacije hongkonških kung fu akcija u osamdesetima.
Mnogi trenuci/dijalozi su deplasirani ("Volio bih poševiti kineskog kepeca!"), preočiti ("Probaj burger od oposuma idući put!") ili ne baš duhoviti ("Zombiji djeluju kao drogirani. Možda Charlie Sheen ima kuću ovdje negdje..."). Neki, međutim, pogađaju tešku metu, poput insertiranja prave snimke "spring breakerskih" korona-morona koji govore da ih virus neće omesti u okupljanju i partijanju.
Interesantno, zombiji najviše napadaju g(r)adove koji ignoriraju karantenu, s čime se "Corona Zombies" voli sprdati. "Odbij, zar nisi čuo za socijalnu distancu", ispali jedan lik zombiju uz metak. A kad specijalci tamane zombije, rade to "osvetnički" za sve žrtve (koronavirusa) i zatvaranje kina ili za to što ne peru ruke.
Jasno, nećemo utvarati da "Corona Zombies" nije loš film, naprotiv umnogome spada u "bože sačuvaj" kategoriju i na momente uspijeva izmamiti uzvik "Viruse, Kriste!". Međutim, u nedostatku nekog boljeg/drugog korona filma može poslužiti kao privremeni lijek za virus, jednosatna/jednostavna distrakcija od stvarnosti s kojom se ruga te podsjetnik na zaraznu suludost "Hell Of The Living Dead", svojevrsnog zombijevskog odgovora na kontroverzni ljudožderski horor "Cannibal Holocaust" iz iste 1980.
Inkorporacija kadrova iz kulta "Hell Of The Living Dead" na mahove je izvedena prilično nadahnuto u razini eksperimentalne kinematografije. Ne bi nas iznenadilo da "Corona Zombies" prikaže ovogodišnji Split Film Festival kao komad reakcionarnog eksperimenta.

Od leša iz ‘Neonskog demona‘ do korona zombija
Woody Allenov postupak još su bezočnije od Banda preuzeli autori foršpana za "Badass" s Dannyjem Trejom, koristeći akcijske scene s busom iz klasika "Red Heat". Band ima osjećaj za ironiju. Za "glavnu" ulogu je angažirao Cody Renee Cameron koja je glumila leš u filmu "Neon Demon".
