Sedam dana je ostalo do 35. po redu dodjele Europskih filmskih nagrada, odnosno prestižnog Europskog Oscara. Zasad su poznati dobitnici kipića u tzv. tehničkim kategorijama. Za najbolju kameru nagrađena je irska “Tiha djevojka”, za montažu turski “Dani suše” (snimljeni u hrvatskoj koprodukciji), za scenografiju i kostimografiju također irski “Belfast”, za vizualne efekte i masku/frizuru njemački “Na zapadu ništa novo”, za glazbu poljski “EO”, a za zvuk talijanska “Rupa”. Također, dobitnik Young Audience Award je francuski “Animal”.

Najveća konkurencija

No, tko će osvojiti glavne nagrade, u kategoriji filma, režije, scenarija, glumca i glumice, znat će se 10. prosinca na svečanoj dodjeli u Reykjaviku. Najveće šanse za film i režiju, moguće i scenarij, ima “Trokut tuge” Rubena Östlunda. Švedskom redatelju, koji je za “Triangle Of Sadness” već osvojio Zlatnu palmu, najveću konkurenciju predstavlja Lukas Dhont (“Blizu”), dok iz prikrajka na nagrade vrebaju i Marie Kreutzer (“Korzet”), Ali Abbasi (“Sveti pauk”), Jerzy Skolimowski (“EO”) i Alice Diop (“Saint Omer”).

Nije isključeno i da naš Zlatko Burić trijumfira u glumačkoj kategoriji upravo zahvaljujući izvrsnoj ulozi ruskog tajkuna na luksuznom krstarenju u “Trokutu tuge”, čime bi postao prvi hrvatski glumac s Europskim Oscarom u ruci, a tek je drugi koji se može pohvaliti s nominacijom nakon Gorana Bogdana (“Otac”), odnosno treći ako računamo i glumicu Zrinku Cvitešić (“Na putu”). Iako, naravno, ne treba otpisati Burićeve konkurente, Paula Mescala (“Poslije sunca”), Edena Dambrinea (“Blizu”), Pierfrancesca Favina (“Nostalgia”) i Elliotta Crosseta Hovea (“Godland”).

Pitanje je tko će slaviti među glumcama, Vicky Krieps (“Korzet”), Léa Seydoux (“One Fine Morning”) ili Penélope Cruz (“Paralelne majke”). Možda manje poznate Zar Amir Ebrahimi (“Sveti pauk”) i Meltem Kaptan (“Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George Bush”)?

Dotad, poznato je da glumica, redateljica i scenaristica Margarethe von Trotta dobiva nagradu za životno djelo kao priznanje za jedinstveni doprinos svijetu filma i njezin izuzetni opus. Von Trotta je glumila u filmovima Rainera Wernera Fassbindera i Volkera Schlöndorffa. Sa Schlöndorffom je surađivala npr. na “The Sudden Wealth Of The Poor People Of Kombach” (1971.) i “The Lost Honor Of Katharina Blum” (1975.).

Otad naovamo režirala je niz filmova, npr.”Marianne & Juliane” o “njemačkim sestrama” Christiane i Gudrun Ensslin koji je osvojio Zlatnog lava u Veneciji, “Sheer Madness” s Hannom Schygullom i Angelom Winkler kao bitno različitim prijateljicama, natjecao se u konkurenciji u Berlinu 1983., dok je “Rosa Luxemburg”, o njemačko-poljskoj socijalistici, premijerno prikazan u Cannesu 1986. godine. Unatrag deset godina režirala je nagrađivanu “Hannah Arendt” (2012.), portret njemačko-židovske akademkinje, te “Bachmann & Frisch” o odnosu između pisaca Ingeborga Bachmanna i Maxa Frischa.

Za svoj izvanredan rad, von Trotta je dobila nagradu Honorary Dragon Award 2013. na Göteborg Film Festivalu, Espiga de Honor 2018. na Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Valladolidu, njemačku počasnu filmsku nagradu 2019. za njezin “kontinuiran izvanredan individualni doprinos njemačkom filmu tijekom godina” i nagradu za životno djelo 2020. na Tallinn Black Nights Film Festivalu.

Mjesec europskog filma

Ona će biti počasna gošća na ceremoniji dodjele Europskih filmskih nagrada, kao i palestinski redatelj Elia Suleiman, dobitnik nagrade za europski doprinos svjetskoj kinematografiji zahvaljujući njegovoj impresivnoj posvećenosti filmu.

Suleiman je prvi palestinski redatelj koji je osvojio ovo priznanje, a na sebe je skrenuo pažnju s dugometražnim prvijencem “Chronicle Of A Dissaperance”, dobitnikom nagrade Luigi De Laurentiis za debitantski film u Veneciji. Godine 2002. imao je u Cannesu film “Divine Intervention” i dobio nagradu žirija festivala i nagradu međunarodne kritike FIPRESCI. U Cannesu je bio i 2009. s filmom “The Time That Remains”, a tamo se vratio 2019. s “It Must Be Heaven” i opet osvojio nagradu međunarodne kritike i posebno priznanje.

Elia Suleiman umjetnički je savjetnik Doha Film Institutea i dobitnik je nizozemske nagrade Prince Claus, kao i nagrade Henri-Jeanson francuskog Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques (SACD) koje svake godine slavi jednog autora u spomen na jednog najvećeg scenarista francuske kinematografije.

Do dodjele nagrada na Islandu traje Mjesec europskog filma s kojim EFA slavi dinamiku europske filmske kulture drugi put nakon prošlogodišnjeg pilot programa u Berlinu.

Od 13. studenoga do 10. prosinca diljem Europe, zahvaljujući Akademijinom partneru Europa Cinemas, vodeća kina u 35 zemalja od Reykjavika do Atene, od Lisabona do Bukurešta, ali uključujući male gradove i mreže, ističu europske filmove, predstavljajući posebne programe, događaje i posvećene retrospektive renomiranih europskih filmaša kao što su Lars von Trier, Jacques Tati, Jonas Mekas, Pier Paolo Pasolini i Agnes Varda. U isto vrijeme, globalna streaming platforma MUBI stavlja poseban fokus na europske filmove, omogućujući ljubiteljima filma diljem svijeta da sudjeluju.

- Mjesecom europskog filma Akademija pokreće novu mrežu. Velik dio ove mreže sastoji se od kina koja formiraju pametne programe s pomno odabranim filmovima koji zadovoljavaju znatiželju i ukuse lokalne publike. Programe koji pomažu u ponovnom otkrivanju europske filmske kulture. Po prvi put, svi ovi napori i inicijative međusobno su povezani kroz dulje vrijeme putem Mjeseca europskog filma, pažljivo organiziranog od strane Akademije – rekao je Matthijs Wouter Knol, izvršni direktor i direktor Europske filmske akademije.

- Ono što Europi nedostaje je jaka svijest o zajedničkom bogatstvu i ranjivosti vlastite kinematografije, a s njom i volja i predanost da se ona poštuje i štiti. Uvjereni smo da jačanje vidljivosti europskih filmova koji prikazuju naše vlastite europske priče i povijest ne treba raditi samo na nacionalnoj razini. To je europsko pitanje i potreba na koju se može uspješno odgovoriti samo zajednički, daljnjim udruživanjem snaga. Za nas je ova inicijativa prvi korak. Akademija će se tome sve više posvetiti u nadolazećim godinama – najavljuje Wouter Knol.

Sedam dana je ostalo do 35. po redu dodjele Europskih filmskih nagrada, odnosno prestižnog Europskog Oscara. Zasad su poznati dobitnici kipića u tzv. tehničkim kategorijama. Za najbolju kameru nagrađena je irska “Tiha djevojka”, za montažu turski “Dani suše” (snimljeni u hrvatskoj koprodukciji), za scenografiju i kostimografiju također irski “Belfast”, za vizualne efekte i masku/frizuru njemački “Na zapadu ništa novo”, za glazbu poljski “EO”, a za zvuk talijanska “Rupa”. Također, dobitnik Young Audience Award je francuski “Animal”.

Najveća konkurencija

No, tko će osvojiti glavne nagrade, u kategoriji filma, režije, scenarija, glumca i glumice, znat će se 10. prosinca na svečanoj dodjeli u Reykjaviku. Najveće šanse za film i režiju, moguće i scenarij, ima “Trokut tuge” Rubena Östlunda. Švedskom redatelju, koji je za “Triangle Of Sadness” već osvojio Zlatnu palmu, najveću konkurenciju predstavlja Lukas Dhont (“Blizu”), dok iz prikrajka na nagrade vrebaju i Marie Kreutzer (“Korzet”), Ali Abbasi (“Sveti pauk”), Jerzy Skolimowski (“EO”) i Alice Diop (“Saint Omer”).

Nije isključeno i da naš Zlatko Burić trijumfira u glumačkoj kategoriji upravo zahvaljujući izvrsnoj ulozi ruskog tajkuna na luksuznom krstarenju u “Trokutu tuge”, čime bi postao prvi hrvatski glumac s Europskim Oscarom u ruci, a tek je drugi koji se može pohvaliti s nominacijom nakon Gorana Bogdana (“Otac”), odnosno treći ako računamo i glumicu Zrinku Cvitešić (“Na putu”). Iako, naravno, ne treba otpisati Burićeve konkurente, Paula Mescala (“Poslije sunca”), Edena Dambrinea (“Blizu”), Pierfrancesca Favina (“Nostalgia”) i Elliotta Crosseta Hovea (“Godland”).

Pitanje je tko će slaviti među glumcama, Vicky Krieps (“Korzet”), Léa Seydoux (“One Fine Morning”) ili Penélope Cruz (“Paralelne majke”). Možda manje poznate Zar Amir Ebrahimi (“Sveti pauk”) i Meltem Kaptan (“Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George Bush”)?

Dotad, poznato je da glumica, redateljica i scenaristica Margarethe von Trotta dobiva nagradu za životno djelo kao priznanje za jedinstveni doprinos svijetu filma i njezin izuzetni opus. Von Trotta je glumila u filmovima Rainera Wernera Fassbindera i Volkera Schlöndorffa. Sa Schlöndorffom je surađivala npr. na “The Sudden Wealth Of The Poor People Of Kombach” (1971.) i “The Lost Honor Of Katharina Blum” (1975.).

Otad naovamo režirala je niz filmova, npr.”Marianne & Juliane” o “njemačkim sestrama” Christiane i Gudrun Ensslin koji je osvojio Zlatnog lava u Veneciji, “Sheer Madness” s Hannom Schygullom i Angelom Winkler kao bitno različitim prijateljicama, natjecao se u konkurenciji u Berlinu 1983., dok je “Rosa Luxemburg”, o njemačko-poljskoj socijalistici, premijerno prikazan u Cannesu 1986. godine. Unatrag deset godina režirala je nagrađivanu “Hannah Arendt” (2012.), portret njemačko-židovske akademkinje, te “Bachmann & Frisch” o odnosu između pisaca Ingeborga Bachmanna i Maxa Frischa.

Za svoj izvanredan rad, von Trotta je dobila nagradu Honorary Dragon Award 2013. na Göteborg Film Festivalu, Espiga de Honor 2018. na Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Valladolidu, njemačku počasnu filmsku nagradu 2019. za njezin “kontinuiran izvanredan individualni doprinos njemačkom filmu tijekom godina” i nagradu za životno djelo 2020. na Tallinn Black Nights Film Festivalu.

Mjesec europskog filma

Ona će biti počasna gošća na ceremoniji dodjele Europskih filmskih nagrada, kao i palestinski redatelj Elia Suleiman, dobitnik nagrade za europski doprinos svjetskoj kinematografiji zahvaljujući njegovoj impresivnoj posvećenosti filmu.

Suleiman je prvi palestinski redatelj koji je osvojio ovo priznanje, a na sebe je skrenuo pažnju s dugometražnim prvijencem “Chronicle Of A Dissaperance”, dobitnikom nagrade Luigi De Laurentiis za debitantski film u Veneciji. Godine 2002. imao je u Cannesu film “Divine Intervention” i dobio nagradu žirija festivala i nagradu međunarodne kritike FIPRESCI. U Cannesu je bio i 2009. s filmom “The Time That Remains”, a tamo se vratio 2019. s “It Must Be Heaven” i opet osvojio nagradu međunarodne kritike i posebno priznanje.

Elia Suleiman umjetnički je savjetnik Doha Film Institutea i dobitnik je nizozemske nagrade Prince Claus, kao i nagrade Henri-Jeanson francuskog Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques (SACD) koje svake godine slavi jednog autora u spomen na jednog najvećeg scenarista francuske kinematografije.

Do dodjele nagrada na Islandu traje Mjesec europskog filma s kojim EFA slavi dinamiku europske filmske kulture drugi put nakon prošlogodišnjeg pilot programa u Berlinu.

Od 13. studenoga do 10. prosinca diljem Europe, zahvaljujući Akademijinom partneru Europa Cinemas, vodeća kina u 35 zemalja od Reykjavika do Atene, od Lisabona do Bukurešta, ali uključujući male gradove i mreže, ističu europske filmove, predstavljajući posebne programe, događaje i posvećene retrospektive renomiranih europskih filmaša kao što su Lars von Trier, Jacques Tati, Jonas Mekas, Pier Paolo Pasolini i Agnes Varda. U isto vrijeme, globalna streaming platforma MUBI stavlja poseban fokus na europske filmove, omogućujući ljubiteljima filma diljem svijeta da sudjeluju.

- Mjesecom europskog filma Akademija pokreće novu mrežu. Velik dio ove mreže sastoji se od kina koja formiraju pametne programe s pomno odabranim filmovima koji zadovoljavaju znatiželju i ukuse lokalne publike. Programe koji pomažu u ponovnom otkrivanju europske filmske kulture. Po prvi put, svi ovi napori i inicijative međusobno su povezani kroz dulje vrijeme putem Mjeseca europskog filma, pažljivo organiziranog od strane Akademije – rekao je Matthijs Wouter Knol, izvršni direktor i direktor Europske filmske akademije.

- Ono što Europi nedostaje je jaka svijest o zajedničkom bogatstvu i ranjivosti vlastite kinematografije, a s njom i volja i predanost da se ona poštuje i štiti. Uvjereni smo da jačanje vidljivosti europskih filmova koji prikazuju naše vlastite europske priče i povijest ne treba raditi samo na nacionalnoj razini. To je europsko pitanje i potreba na koju se može uspješno odgovoriti samo zajednički, daljnjim udruživanjem snaga. Za nas je ova inicijativa prvi korak. Akademija će se tome sve više posvetiti u nadolazećim godinama – najavljuje Wouter Knol.
