Orkansko nevrijeme zahvatilo je i Korčulu, udari groma na istočnom dijelu otoka prouzrokovali su danas brojne probleme.

Od jutros na širem području Grada Korčule povremeno nema struje, bez opskrbe električnom energijom bila su ili su još naselja Račišće, Kneže, Žrnovo, Korčula i Lumbarda u susjednoj općini.

U Lumbardi je zbog udara groma ozbiljno oštećena župna crkva sv. Roka. Kako doznajemo od Jadrana Miline, jednog od crkovinara i vlasnika klesarske radionice, čuo se jak udar groma, a onda su vidjeli i svjetlost munje. Grom je preko uzemljenja izbio na vrh kampanela, oštetio je električne instalacije, "izbio" je trafostanicu, šahtove i dio kamenih ploča, oštetio je kornižu, odnosno istureni kameni rub na krovu kao i dio krova.

Električna zvona ne rade, a oštećene su i instalacije i klimatizacijski uređaj u pomoćnoj crkvenoj zgradi. Udara groma je bilo, kaže Milina, ali ovako silovit udar još nije doživio. 

- Čuli smo jak udar groma, prvu sekundu smo provjeravali jesmo li svi živi, a onda smo vidjeli da je kampanel zadimljen. Odmah smo uletjeli u crkvu koja je puna drva da se ne bi što zapalilo. Ozlijeđenih na svu sreću nema, no materijalna šteta je ogromna - ističe naš sugovornik. 

Osim Miline interveniralo je još desetak njegovih sumještana koji su, kaže, već standardna i uigrana ekipa kad su potrebe župe u pitanju. Ista ekipa sljedećih će desetak dana sanirati štetu na crkvi i susjednoj zgradi, a procjenjuje se na 100 tisuća kuna.

- Bio bi taj iznos i veći, ali mi volonteri iz Lumbarde nećemo ništa naplatiti. U predstojećih desetak dana postavit ćemo skelu za kamene popravke, moramo sanirati krov, vratiti kornižu, postaviti nove električne instalacije i još dosta drugih stvari - najavio je crkovinar.

Kako doznajemo, najviše se prestrašio don Vlado Markić, lumabarjski župnik koji je u tim trenucima spavao, a silina udara osjetila se sve do Korčule.

Orkansko nevrijeme zahvatilo je i Korčulu, udari groma na istočnom dijelu otoka prouzrokovali su danas brojne probleme.

Od jutros na širem području Grada Korčule povremeno nema struje, bez opskrbe električnom energijom bila su ili su još naselja Račišće, Kneže, Žrnovo, Korčula i Lumbarda u susjednoj općini.

U Lumbardi je zbog udara groma ozbiljno oštećena župna crkva sv. Roka. Kako doznajemo od Jadrana Miline, jednog od crkovinara i vlasnika klesarske radionice, čuo se jak udar groma, a onda su vidjeli i svjetlost munje. Grom je preko uzemljenja izbio na vrh kampanela, oštetio je električne instalacije, "izbio" je trafostanicu, šahtove i dio kamenih ploča, oštetio je kornižu, odnosno istureni kameni rub na krovu kao i dio krova.

Električna zvona ne rade, a oštećene su i instalacije i klimatizacijski uređaj u pomoćnoj crkvenoj zgradi. Udara groma je bilo, kaže Milina, ali ovako silovit udar još nije doživio. 

- Čuli smo jak udar groma, prvu sekundu smo provjeravali jesmo li svi živi, a onda smo vidjeli da je kampanel zadimljen. Odmah smo uletjeli u crkvu koja je puna drva da se ne bi što zapalilo. Ozlijeđenih na svu sreću nema, no materijalna šteta je ogromna - ističe naš sugovornik. 

Osim Miline interveniralo je još desetak njegovih sumještana koji su, kaže, već standardna i uigrana ekipa kad su potrebe župe u pitanju. Ista ekipa sljedećih će desetak dana sanirati štetu na crkvi i susjednoj zgradi, a procjenjuje se na 100 tisuća kuna.

- Bio bi taj iznos i veći, ali mi volonteri iz Lumbarde nećemo ništa naplatiti. U predstojećih desetak dana postavit ćemo skelu za kamene popravke, moramo sanirati krov, vratiti kornižu, postaviti nove električne instalacije i još dosta drugih stvari - najavio je crkovinar.

Kako doznajemo, najviše se prestrašio don Vlado Markić, lumabarjski župnik koji je u tim trenucima spavao, a silina udara osjetila se sve do Korčule.

Orkansko nevrijeme zahvatilo je i Korčulu, udari groma na istočnom dijelu otoka prouzrokovali su danas brojne probleme.

Od jutros na širem području Grada Korčule povremeno nema struje, bez opskrbe električnom energijom bila su ili su još naselja Račišće, Kneže, Žrnovo, Korčula i Lumbarda u susjednoj općini.

U Lumbardi je zbog udara groma ozbiljno oštećena župna crkva sv. Roka. Kako doznajemo od Jadrana Miline, jednog od crkovinara i vlasnika klesarske radionice, čuo se jak udar groma, a onda su vidjeli i svjetlost munje. Grom je preko uzemljenja izbio na vrh kampanela, oštetio je električne instalacije, "izbio" je trafostanicu, šahtove i dio kamenih ploča, oštetio je kornižu, odnosno istureni kameni rub na krovu kao i dio krova.

Električna zvona ne rade, a oštećene ...
