Da naš čitatelj nije pukim slučajem uočio plamen 500 metara udaljen od punte s južne strane otoka Šolte, vrlo moguće da bi noćas buknuo požar o kojem bi se dugo pričalo, a koji bi zasigurno uhvatio barem dvije uvale, Velu Travnu i Straćinsku, i time ugrozio barem desetak kuća i hektre zemlje, niskog raslinja, šume i maslinika.

Naime, večeras oko 18.30, naš čitatelj u daljini je uočio plamen. Budući da kiša na južnoj strani otoka nije dugo pošteno pala, zemlja je suha, znao je kakva opasnost vreba te se preko teško prohodnih škrapa odmah zaputio put vatre. Nakon petnaestak minuta napornog škrapinga imao je što vidjeti: tri Nijemca s obližnje jedrilice zapalila su vatru, čiji je plamen išao u vis i do dva metra, ispod bora punog suhog granja i šišaka. Odmah za leđima su im hektri suhe zemlje, borovine i niskog raslinja.

 - Nisam birao riječi, živci su mi skočili, pokušao sam im objasniti da što prije izgase vatru da će ugroziti pola otoka.  Imali su bocu od litru i pol vode koja je bila tek napola puna! - nije ovo prvi put da se čitatelj susreće s ovakvim ponašanjem turista. Prošle godine otprilike s istog mjesta u sitnim noćnim satima ispalili su vatromet! Dakle, kutiju punu vatrometa stavili su usred ljeta na makiju i ispalili ga. 

- Bio sam prisiljen uzeti stvar u svoje ruke i glumiti rendžera jer je južna strana Šolte slabo naseljena i  teže prohodna. Večeras sam odmah nazvao 112, prijavio sve vatrogascima, ali i registraciju broda prijavio policiji. Apeliram na charter tvrtke da upozore svoje klijente da ne rade takve stvari i ne krše zakon! Dokad će neodgojeni i nepristojni turisti ugrožavati lokalno stanovništvo, a mi ovisiti isključivo o faktoru sreće u zaštiti prirode i nas samih? - pita se naš čitatelj.

Da naš čitatelj nije pukim slučajem uočio plamen 500 metara udaljen od punte s južne strane otoka Šolte, vrlo moguće da bi noćas buknuo požar o kojem bi se dugo pričalo, a koji bi zasigurno uhvatio barem dvije uvale, Velu Travnu i Straćinsku, i time ugrozio barem desetak kuća i hektre zemlje, niskog raslinja, šume i maslinika.

Naime, večeras oko 18.30, naš čitatelj u daljini je uočio plamen. Budući da kiša na južnoj strani otoka nije dugo pošteno pala, zemlja je suha, znao je kakva opasnost vreba te se preko teško prohodnih škrapa odmah zaputio put vatre. Nakon petnaestak minuta napornog škrapinga imao je što vidjeti: tri Nijemca s obližnje jedrilice zapalila su vatru, čiji je plamen išao u vis i do dva metra, ispod bora punog suhog granja i šišaka. Odmah za leđima su im hektri suhe zemlje, borovine i niskog raslinja.

 - Nisam birao riječi, živci su mi skočili, pokušao sam im objasniti da što prije izgase vatru da će ugroziti pola otoka.  Imali su bocu od litru i pol vode koja je bila tek napola puna! - nije ovo prvi put da se čitatelj susreće s ovakvim ponašanjem turista. Prošle godine otprilike s istog mjesta u sitnim noćnim satima ispalili su vatromet! Dakle, kutiju punu vatrometa stavili su usred ljeta na makiju i ispalili ga. 

- Bio sam prisiljen uzeti stvar u svoje ruke i glumiti rendžera jer je južna strana Šolte slabo naseljena i  teže prohodna. Večeras sam odmah nazvao 112, prijavio sve vatrogascima, ali i registraciju broda prijavio policiji. Apeliram na charter tvrtke da upozore svoje klijente da ne rade takve stvari i ne krše zakon! Dokad će neodgojeni i nepristojni turisti ugrožavati lokalno stanovništvo, a mi ovisiti isključivo o faktoru sreće u zaštiti prirode i nas samih? - pita se naš čitatelj.

Da naš čitatelj nije pukim slučajem uočio plamen 500 metara udaljen od punte s južne strane otoka Šolte, vrlo moguće da bi noćas buknuo požar o kojem bi se dugo pričalo, a koji bi zasigurno uhvatio barem dvije uvale, Velu Travnu i Straćinsku, i time ugrozio barem desetak kuća i hektre zemlje, niskog raslinja, šume i maslinika.

Naime, večeras oko 18.30, naš čitatelj u daljini je uočio plamen. Budući da kiša na južnoj strani otoka nije dugo pošteno pala, zemlja je suha, znao je kakva opasnost vreba te se preko teško prohodnih škrapa odmah zaputio put vatre. Nakon petnaestak minuta napornog škrapinga imao je što vidjeti: tri Nijemca s obližnje jedrilice zapalila su vatru, čiji je plamen išao u vis i do dva metra, ispod bora punog suhog granja i šišaka. Odmah...
