Nakon ronilačke akcije provedene u listopadu 2022., Planinarsko društvo Hvar nastavlja s provedbom ekoloških akcija uklanjanja otpada na području Paklenih otoka. Tijekom prve akcije prikupljena je tona i pol otpada s morskog dna na području 6 uvala Paklenih otoka koje su pod najvećim pritiskom nautičkog turizma, i u kojima je zabilježen znatan donos otpada morskim strujama i jakim vjetrovima s juga tijekom zimskih mjeseci.
Te aktivnosti dio su projekta "Pakleni otoci u plavom i zelenom" koji sufinanciraju Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost i Grad Hvar. Partneri projekta su Grad Hvar, Javna ustanova More i krš te Zajednica sportskih udruga Grada Hvara.
Jesenska ekološka akcija pokazala je, ističu hvarski planinari, povećanje razine svijesti lokalne zajednice o problemu morskog otpada jer je prikupljena značajno manja količina otpada u odnosu na prethodnu akcije. Sljedeća, proljetna ekološka akcija provest će se u utorak, 2. svibnja, a uz uklanjanje otpada s morskog dna obuhvatit će se i obalno područje Paklenih otoka. Autonomni ronioci i ronioci na dah sudjelovat će u ronilačkoj akciji, dok će otpad na obali pokupiti volonteri Planinarskog društva Hvar i Crvenog križa Hvar.

Dodatno, u suradnji s Osnovnom školom Hvar, učenici viših razreda sudjelovat će kao volonteri čistke na obali, te će uz stručno vodstvo oceanografkinje Jelene Kurtović Mrčelić naučiti nešto više o problemu otpada u moru, odgovornosti svakog pojedinca te važnosti očuvanja mora i njegove bogate bioraznolikosti.

-Ovakvim i sličnim akcijama kontinuirano radimo na podizanju svijesti lokalne zajednice o potrebi očuvanja okoliša, životu u skladu s prirodom, i potičemo razvoj volonterstva. Posebno nas veseli suradnja s OŠ Hvar i educiranje mladih o prirodnom bogatstvu koje nas okružuje te način na koji svatko od nas može doprinijeti njegovom očuvanju. Bilo to kroz sudjelovanje, ili još bolje, organiziranje sličnih akcija, recikliranje ili smanjenje upotrebe plastike - kazala je Mira Ćurin, predsjednica Planinarskog društva Hvar.
Logističku podršku i tijekom ove akcije pružit će Komunalno društvo Hvar, Nautički centar Hvar, ronilački centar Aqualis, Crveni križ Hvar, ACI d.o.o.

Nakon ronilačke akcije provedene u listopadu 2022., Planinarsko društvo Hvar nastavlja s provedbom ekoloških akcija uklanjanja otpada na području Paklenih otoka. Tijekom prve akcije prikupljena je tona i pol otpada s morskog dna na području 6 uvala Paklenih otoka koje su pod najvećim pritiskom nautičkog turizma, i u kojima je zabilježen znatan donos otpada morskim strujama i jakim vjetrovima s juga tijekom zimskih mjeseci.
Te aktivnosti dio su projekta "Pakleni otoci u plavom i zelenom" koji sufinanciraju Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost i Grad Hvar. Partneri projekta su Grad Hvar, Javna ustanova More i krš te Zajednica sportskih udruga Grada Hvara.
Jesenska ekološka akcija pokazala je, ističu hvarski planinari, povećanje razine svijesti lokalne zajednice o problemu morskog otpada jer je prikupljena značajno manja količina otpada u odnosu na prethodnu akcije. Sljedeća, proljetna ekološka akcija provest će se u utorak, 2. svibnja, a uz uklanjanje otpada s morskog dna obuhvatit će se i obalno područje Paklenih otoka. Autonomni ronioci i ronioci na dah sudjelovat će u ronilačkoj akciji, dok će otpad na obali pokupiti volonteri Planinarskog društva Hvar i Crvenog križa Hvar.

Dodatno, u suradnji s Osnovnom školom Hvar, učenici viših razreda sudjelovat će kao volonteri čistke na obali, te će uz stručno vodstvo oceanografkinje Jelene Kurtović Mrčelić naučiti nešto više o problemu otpada u moru, odgovornosti svakog pojedinca te važnosti očuvanja mora i njegove bogate bioraznolikosti.

-Ovakvim i sličnim akcijama kontinuirano radimo na podizanju svijesti lokalne zajednice o potrebi očuvanja okoliša, životu u skladu s prirodom, i potičemo razvoj volonterstva. Posebno nas veseli suradnja s OŠ Hvar i educiranje mladih o prirodnom bogatstvu koje nas okružuje te način na koji svatko od nas može doprinijeti njegovom očuvanju. Bilo to kroz sudjelovanje, ili još bolje, organiziranje sličnih akcija, recikliranje ili smanjenje upotrebe plastike - kazala je Mira Ćurin, predsjednica Planinarskog društva Hvar.
Logističku podršku i tijekom ove akcije pružit će Komunalno društvo Hvar, Nautički centar Hvar, ronilački centar Aqualis, Crveni križ Hvar, ACI d.o.o.
