Stanovnici turističkog naselja Klek još uvijek su u šoku nakon nevremena koje je pogodilo neretvansku dolinu, a posebno priobalje, gdje je palo gotovo 80 litara kiše po četvornom metru.

Velike količine kiše izazvale su bujične poplave koje su se doslovno sručile na Klek, mjesto okruženo Jadranskom magistralom, nedaleko od granice s BiH kod Neuma. Naseljem je u samo nekoliko trenutaka protutnjao povodanj apokaliptičnih razmjera.

Potok koji zadnjih dvadesetak godina odvodi oborinsku vodu u more nije poslužio svojoj svrsi pa je voda ušla u nekoliko kuća, izlili su se sadržaji septičkih jama, bujica je razrovala plažu. Potok je godinama bio zatrpavan svim i svačim.

U njega se ubacivalo smeće i granje od maslina nakon rezidbe. Očito da nije čišćen nikako ili nije čišćen na odgovarajući način.

Stanovnici se pitaju tko je odgovoran za bujicu koja ih je iznenadila na početku srpnja. Pitaju se tko je trebao čistiti potok koji je bio pun granja i svakakvog smeća ili spriječiti neodgovorne pojedince da ga zatrpavaju.

Oni koji su najgore prošli ne žele ništa govoriti. Saniraju štetu i nadaju se da će vrlo brzo nastaviti normalno živjeti jer sezona je pred vratima a Klek je turističko mjesto i živi od turizma.

- Odvodni kanal postoji. On je u ingerenciji Hrvatskih voda - kaže Smiljan Mustapić, načelnik Općine Slivno.

- Ne želim nikoga optuživati ni prozivati, ali očito se kanal nije dobro održavao, a i neodgovorni pojedinci su u njega ubacivali granje. Problem je rešetka kod pošte koja se zatrpala granjem i drugim materijalom pa se voda razlijevala okolo po naselju, zbog čega je potonulo nekoliko kuća na nižim kotama - ističe Mustapić, koji kaže da je lokalna vlast angažirala vatrogasce na sanaciji šteta.  Sada treba srediti i poravnati izrovanu plažu kako bi se sezona mogla nastaviti.

Stanovnici turističkog naselja Klek još uvijek su u šoku nakon nevremena koje je pogodilo neretvansku dolinu, a posebno priobalje, gdje je palo gotovo 80 litara kiše po četvornom metru.

Velike količine kiše izazvale su bujične poplave koje su se doslovno sručile na Klek, mjesto okruženo Jadranskom magistralom, nedaleko od granice s BiH kod Neuma. Naseljem je u samo nekoliko trenutaka protutnjao povodanj apokaliptičnih razmjera.

Potok koji zadnjih dvadesetak godina odvodi oborinsku vodu u more nije poslužio svojoj svrsi pa je voda ušla u nekoliko kuća, izlili su se sadržaji septičkih jama, bujica je razrovala plažu. Potok je godinama bio zatrpavan svim i svačim.

U njega se ubacivalo smeće i granje od maslina nakon rezidbe. Očito da nije čišćen nikako ili nije čišćen na odgovarajući način.

Stanovnici se pitaju tko je odgovoran za bujicu koja ih je iznenadila na početku srpnja. Pitaju se tko je trebao čistiti potok koji je bio pun granja i svakakvog smeća ili spriječiti neodgovorne pojedince da ga zatrpavaju.

Oni koji su najgore prošli ne žele ništa govoriti. Saniraju štetu i nadaju se da će vrlo brzo nastaviti normalno živjeti jer sezona je pred vratima a Klek je turističko mjesto i živi od turizma.

- Odvodni kanal postoji. On je u ingerenciji Hrvatskih voda - kaže Smiljan Mustapić, načelnik Općine Slivno.

- Ne želim nikoga optuživati ni prozivati, ali očito se kanal nije dobro održavao, a i neodgovorni pojedinci su u njega ubacivali granje. Problem je rešetka kod pošte koja se zatrpala granjem i drugim materijalom pa se voda razlijevala okolo po naselju, zbog čega je potonulo nekoliko kuća na nižim kotama - ističe Mustapić, koji kaže da je lokalna vlast angažirala vatrogasce na sanaciji šteta.  Sada treba srediti i poravnati izrovanu plažu kako bi se sezona mogla nastaviti.
