Svako naše malo misto ima svoje kampione pa tek rijetki mještani Bratuša žele komentirati stanje u selu. Ima ušiju što i misli čuju, a Bratušani se, kažu, ne bi htjeli nikome zamjeriti. Od koga zaziru, susjeda ili političara?
- Oboje! - kaže mještanin koji je želio ostati anoniman.
- U Bratušu je puno problema, a neki su toliko ozbiljni da ugrožavaju živote i mještana i turista. Odlomljavaju se dijelovi ceste i zemlje uz cestu i strah nas je da se komad asfalta ne odlomi na plažu.
Proširenje plaže
Prijavili smo to Općini Baška Voda nakon čega su dovukli tri teška kamena bloka i postavili ih kao zaštitnu ogradu. Sad je još opasnije. Cesta kroz mjesto se vodi kao dvosmjerna, a ne samo da se auto s autom ne može mimoići, nego ne možete ući ni u vlastitu garažu ako je neko auto parkirano uz cestu.

Općina govori da je to privremeno, no ta privremenost traje desetak godina, a u međuvremenu su i dva momka izgubila živote. Navodno su bili pijani, ali da je to sigurna zona, onda bi nešto zaustavilo njihovo auto na putu do provalije. Pojedinci su kupljeni sitnim uslugama, a mještani znaju sve, pa i njihova imena. Kad imate desetak potkupljivih, to je za selo ove veličine i više nego dovoljno - kaže naš sugovornik.

---Jedan od najpoznatijih Bratušana, glumac i docent na Akademiji umjetnosti u Beogradu,
Anđelko Beroš, vjeruje da Bratuš ide u dobrom smjeru.
- Mislim da je Bratuš u rukama mladih ljudi postao lijepa turistička destinacija. Dovedena je kanalizacija, napravljena je velika plaža i to su dvije najvidljivije i najznačajnije stvari za mjesto. Proširenje plaže je bilo neophodno zbog povećanja turističkih jedinica, a samim tim su se izbjegle gužve i svaki gost je dobio svoj prostor. Nedostatak parkinga za jednodnevne turiste je pozitivna stvar jer se tako maksimalno smanjuje gužva na plaži. Ono što mi smeta je odlaganje otpada na mjestima gdje piše da je to zabranjeno.
Mnogi ovdje imaju vikendice, a i Kemal Monteno je svako ljeto boravio u Bratušu.
- Ne trebate se roditi u Bratušu da bi vam bio poseban. Ja sam imala tu sreću, ali mnogi su se i bez rodnih korijena vezali za ovo misto. Nema tu zimi neke zabave, ni događaja, ali svako lito je repriza; Damjan i Cvetka, Spomenka i Sveto, Zdenek, Jiri, Arpad i još ko zna koliko ih se udomaćilo ovdje.
Oni u Bratuš dolaze preko 40 godina i kažu da im nije dosadno. Malo tko zna da je Stipe iz mora izvukao malu Ivu, Ivica Patriciju, a Pero, Ivan i Andrija su spasili više gostiju na daskama i supovima da ne završe na Braču.
Počevši od moje generacije družili smo se svako ljeto; domaći, vikendaši, gosti, istu stvar su nastavila naša djeca, a ne bojim se ni za unučad. Tu su se stvorila prijateljstva za cijeli život - veli Edita Batinić-Ivanišević.

Prelijep i jedinstven
Nicoletta Babić ovdje živi već 40 godina.
- Mjesto je prelijepo i jedinstveno, a prvi put sam vidjela Bratuš 1972. kad mi je bilo 16 godina. Tad je svako domaćinstvo držalo domaće životinje, a danas toga nema. Sjećam se gostoljubivosti mještana, a tradicija i ribarstvo su bile temeljne vrijednosti. Otad se mnogo toga promijenilo. Bratuš treba sagledati iz svih perspektiva. Selo su činile male kamene kuće, a sad su vile i zgrade promijenile vizuru mjesta. Kad dolazite s mora, divlja gradnja je još primjetnija. Šetnica je nepravilno popločana pa je teško po njoj hodati.
Veliki je problem parkiranje, a pojedinci uzimaju i više parkirnih mjesta negoli im pripada. Ljudi u Bratušu su donekle inertni, za sebe govore da su primitivni što im često služi kao alibi za nedjelovanje. Ne razmišljaju o općem dojmu mjesta, najvažnije im je sagraditi balkon ili dodatni apartman i nerijetko kič ide nauštrb estetike. Bratuš je još uvijek sačuvao mir, čemu pridonosi odvojenost od magistrale. S Makarskom i Baškom Vodom povezan je šetnicama uz more koje, doduše, nisu uređene. Ograda je na mjestima nesigurna i opasna, kao i neujednačena, no ljepota prirode to stavlja u drugi plan.

Voljela bih da se Bratuš više uključi u program Makarskog ili Baškovoškog kulturnog ljeta jer smo i prije, u Kačića dvoru, imali koncerte i predstave. Autentičnost sela, odnosno identitet mjesta i mještana bi trebalo zaštititi, a mlade naraštaje upoznati s tradicijom i na tome bazirati turističku ponudu - kaže Nicoletta.
Petar Babić dodaje da ih mjesni odbor ne poziva na sastanke te smatra kako bi trebalo biti više komunikacije između odbora i mještana, no čini se da u Bratušu ionako svi s(v)e znaju. Nekad sve to stane u šaku suza, mnogo češće je puna vrića smija, a za mnoge mještane i turiste - Bratuš je fantazija!

Svako naše malo misto ima svoje kampione pa tek rijetki mještani Bratuša žele komentirati stanje u selu. Ima ušiju što i misli čuju, a Bratušani se, kažu, ne bi htjeli nikome zamjeriti. Od koga zaziru, susjeda ili političara?
- Oboje! - kaže mještanin koji je želio ostati anoniman.
- U Bratušu je puno problema, a neki su toliko ozbiljni da ugrožavaju živote i mještana i turista. Odlomljavaju se dijelovi ceste i zemlje uz cestu i strah nas je da se komad asfalta ne odlomi na plažu.
Proširenje plaže
Prijavili smo to Općini Baška Voda nakon čega su dovukli tri teška kamena bloka i postavili ih kao zaštitnu ogradu. Sad je još opasnije. Cesta kroz mjesto se vodi kao dvosmjerna, a ne samo da se auto s autom ne može mimoići, nego ne možete ući ni u vlastitu garažu ako je neko auto parkirano uz cestu.

Općina govori da je to privremeno, no ta privremenost traje desetak godina, a u međuvremenu su i dva momka izgubila živote. Navodno su bili pijani, ali da je to sigurna zona, onda bi nešto zaustavilo njihovo auto na putu do provalije. Pojedinci su kupljeni sitnim uslugama, a mještani znaju sve, pa i njihova imena. Kad imate desetak potkupljivih, to je za selo ove veličine i više nego dovoljno - kaže naš sugovornik.

---Jedan od najpoznatijih Bratušana, glumac i docent na Akademiji umjetnosti u Beogradu,
Anđelko Beroš, vjeruje da Bratuš ide u dobrom smjeru.
- Mislim da je Bratuš u rukama mladih ljudi postao lijepa turistička destinacija. Dovedena je kanalizacija, napravljena je velika plaža i to su dvije najvidljivije i najznačajnije stvari za mjesto. Proširenje plaže je bilo neophodno zbog povećanja turističkih jedinica, a samim tim su se izbjegle gužve i svaki gost je dobio svoj prostor. Nedostatak parkinga za jednodnevne turiste je pozitivna stvar jer se tako maksimalno smanjuje gužva na plaži. Ono što mi smeta je odlaganje otpada na mjestima gdje piše da je to zabranjeno.
Mnogi ovdje imaju vikendice, a i Kemal Monteno je svako ljeto boravio u Bratušu.
- Ne trebate se roditi u Bratušu da bi vam bio poseban. Ja sam imala tu sreću, ali mnogi su se i bez rodnih korijena vezali za ovo misto. Nema tu zimi neke zabave, ni događaja, ali svako lito je repriza; Damjan i Cvetka, Spomenka i Sveto, Zdenek, Jiri, Arpad i još ko zna koliko ih se udomaćilo ovdje.
Oni u Bratuš dolaze preko 40 godina i kažu da im nije dosadno. Malo tko zna da je Stipe iz mora izvukao malu Ivu, Ivica Patriciju, a Pero, Ivan i Andrija su spasili više gostiju na daskama i supovima da ne završe na Braču.
Počevši od moje generacije družili smo se svako ljeto; domaći, vikendaši, gosti, istu stvar su nastavila naša djeca, a ne bojim se ni za unučad. Tu su se stvorila prijateljstva za cijeli život - veli Edita Batinić-Ivanišević.

Prelijep i jedinstven
Nicoletta Babić ovdje živi već 40 godina.
- Mjesto je prelijepo i jedinstveno, a prvi put sam vidjela Bratuš 1972. kad mi je bilo 16 godina. Tad je svako domaćinstvo držalo domaće životinje, a danas toga nema. Sjećam se gostoljubivosti mještana, a tradicija i ribarstvo su bile temeljne vrijednosti. Otad se mnogo toga promijenilo. Bratuš treba sagledati iz svih perspektiva. Selo su činile male kamene kuće, a sad su vile i zgrade promijenile vizuru mjesta. Kad dolazite s mora, divlja gradnja je još primjetnija. Šetnica je nepravilno popločana pa je teško po njoj hodati.
Veliki je problem parkiranje, a pojedinci uzimaju i više parkirnih mjesta negoli im pripada. Ljudi u Bratušu su donekle inertni, za sebe govore da su primitivni što im često služi kao alibi za nedjelovanje. Ne razmišljaju o općem dojmu mjesta, najvažnije im je sagraditi balkon ili dodatni apartman i nerijetko kič ide nauštrb estetike. Bratuš je još uvijek sačuvao mir, čemu pridonosi odvojenost od magistrale. S Makarskom i Baškom Vodom povezan je šetnicama uz more koje, doduše, nisu uređene. Ograda je na mjestima nesigurna i opasna, kao i neujednačena, no ljepota prirode to stavlja u drugi plan.

Voljela bih da se Bratuš više uključi u program Makarskog ili Baškovoškog kulturnog ljeta jer smo i prije, u Kačića dvoru, imali koncerte i predstave. Autentičnost sela, odnosno identitet mjesta i mještana bi trebalo zaštititi, a mlade naraštaje upoznati s tradicijom i na tome bazirati turističku ponudu - kaže Nicoletta.
Petar Babić dodaje da ih mjesni odbor ne poziva na sastanke te smatra kako bi trebalo biti više komunikacije između odbora i mještana, no čini se da u Bratušu ionako svi s(v)e znaju. Nekad sve to stane u šaku suza, mnogo češće je puna vrića smija, a za mnoge mještane i turiste - Bratuš je fantazija!
