Nije bila super-seksi, nije bila super-šarmantna, nije bila ni osobito fina, tim je riječima Anu Sorokin, prevaranticu koja je osuđena za izvlačenje pustih stotina tisuća dolara od njujorške elite i uglednih bankovnih institucija, opisala Jessica Pressler, novinarka čija je priča poslužila kao predložak za seriju "Inventing Anna", trenutni super-hit na Netflixu.

Upozorenje  "Ova je priča potpuno istinita, osim dijelova koji su izmišljeni", istaknuto na početku svake epizode gledatelji bi trebali uzeti zaozbiljno, ako im već činjenica da je serija snimljena u istoj produkciji kao Bridgerton nije dovoljna. Baš poput Bridgertona, i ova serija gledatelje mami obećanjem o otkrivanju nepoznatih detalja iz života elite, no premda su joj glavni likovi, za razliku onih iz Bridgertona, stvarne osobe, zapravo su široj javnosti u jednakoj mjeri nepoznati i irelevantni. Poznat nam je, međutim, naslovni lik, o kojem se za vrijeme suđenja, a osobito nakon što se pročulo da će se naći u središtu pozornosti novog projekta Shonde Rhimes, naveliko pisalo.

Ako vam je slučajno promakao jedan od njujorških skandala desetljeća, dvadesetinešto-godišnjakinja koja se predstavljala imenom Anna Delvy uspjela je uvjeriti grupu dizajnera, financijera, odvjetnika i pripadnika društvene elite da je njemačka nasljednica, namamivši ih fatamorganom ukradenih privatnih aviona, glamuroznih odmora i novčanica od 100 dolara. Prodala im je priču da, kao istinska ljubiteljica umjetnosti, želi u središtu Manhattna otvoriti vrlo "napucanu" verziju umjetničke galerije, svojevrstan spoj izložbenog prostora, skupocjenih trgovina i restorana i društvenog kluba za vrlo pomno probrane. Kako joj je to pošlo za rukom i gdje je zapelo - e to vam nećemo otkriti, kako vam ne bismo "spojlali" gledanje. Ako je to uopće moguće.

Serija koja jer trenutno, kao što spomenusmo, hit, pati od niza nedostataka. Plošno prikazana protagonistica tek je jedan u nizu. Za lik intrigantne Anne odabrana je Julia Garner, glumica koju smo zavoljeli u Ozarku, koja kao da se cijelo vrijeme muči s glumljenjem lika koji se pretvara da je netko drugi. No dobro, dopustimo da je to način na koji je Garner odlučila interpretirati poprilično nedokučivu Delvy (zašto nedokučivu? doznat ćete budete li pogledali više od dva-tri nastavka).

Ono što najviše otežava gledanje zapravo je odbojnost Sorokinove/Delvy u Garneričinoj interpretaciji. Njena je Anna nekako agresivno nesimpatična, do te mjere da su i lik i sama serija, osim ako je shvatite kao neku vrstu satire, često dosta neugodni za gledanje - već na početku prve epizode gledatelja naziva debelim i lijenim, a trudnu novinarku debelom i ružno odjevenom. Stvari se nakon toga nimalo ne popravljaju, a kulminiraju u posljednjoj epizodi, kad u maniri razmažene nasljednice Delvy odbija ući u sudnicu jer joj se ne sviđa odjeća koju je dobila, da bi potom odvjetnika koji ju je došao prizvati pameti otpustila i izvikala zbog njegove loše odabrane odjeće.

Zbog takvih se detalja Annin lik doima u najmanju ruku poremećenim. S obzirom da ne znamo kakva je prevarantica s Manhattna uistinu, o tome možda ne bismo smjeli suditi, ali onda ne bi smjela ni produkcija serije. Delvey iz serije "Inventing Anna" je ohola, opterećena aurom neshvaćenog genija koja povremeno balansira na rubu uloge žrtve, da bi se već u idućem trenu preobratila u nemilosrdnog narcisa. Je li prava Anna takva? Bilo bi zanimljivo doznati, možda u nekom dokumentarcu koji ne bi trebao na početku svake epizode isticati upozorenje "Ova je priča potpuno istinita, osim dijelova koji su izmišljeni".

Nije bila super-seksi, nije bila super-šarmantna, nije bila ni osobito fina, tim je riječima Anu Sorokin, prevaranticu koja je osuđena za izvlačenje pustih stotina tisuća dolara od njujorške elite i uglednih bankovnih institucija, opisala Jessica Pressler, novinarka čija je priča poslužila kao predložak za seriju "Inventing Anna", trenutni super-hit na Netflixu.

Upozorenje  "Ova je priča potpuno istinita, osim dijelova koji su izmišljeni", istaknuto na početku svake epizode gledatelji bi trebali uzeti zaozbiljno, ako im već činjenica da je serija snimljena u istoj produkciji kao Bridgerton nije dovoljna. Baš poput Bridgertona, i ova serija gledatelje mami obećanjem o otkrivanju nepoznatih detalja iz života elite, no premda su joj glavni likovi, za razliku onih iz Bridgertona, stvarne osobe, zapravo su široj javnosti u jednakoj mjeri nepoznati i irelevantni. Poznat nam je, međutim, naslovni lik, o kojem se za vrijeme suđenja, a osobito nakon što se pročulo da će se naći u središtu pozornosti novog projekta Shonde Rhimes, naveliko pisalo.

Ako vam je slučajno promakao jedan od njujorških skandala desetljeća, dvadesetinešto-godišnjakinja koja se predstavljala imenom Anna Delvy uspjela je uvjeriti grupu dizajnera, financijera, odvjetnika i pripadnika društvene elite da je njemačka nasljednica, namamivši ih fatamorganom ukradenih privatnih aviona, glamuroznih odmora i novčanica od 100 dolara. Prodala im je priču da, kao istinska ljubiteljica umjetnosti, želi u središtu Manhattna otvoriti vrlo "napucanu" verziju umjetničke galerije, svojevrstan spoj izložbenog prostora, skupocjenih trgovina i restorana i društvenog kluba za vrlo pomno probrane. Kako joj je to pošlo za rukom i gdje je zapelo - e to vam nećemo otkriti, kako vam ne bismo "spojlali" gledanje. Ako je to uopće moguće.

Serija koja jer trenutno, kao što spomenusmo, hit, pati od niza nedostataka. Plošno prikazana protagonistica tek je jedan u nizu. Za lik intrigantne Anne odabrana je Julia Garner, glumica koju smo zavoljeli u Ozarku, koja kao da se cijelo vrijeme muči s glumljenjem lika koji se pretvara da je netko drugi. No dobro, dopustimo da je to način na koji je Garner odlučila interpretirati poprilično nedokučivu Delvy (zašto nedokučivu? doznat ćete budete li pogledali više od dva-tri nastavka).

Ono što najviše otežava gledanje zapravo je odbojnost Sorokinove/Delvy u Garneričinoj interpretaciji. Njena je Anna nekako agresivno nesimpatična, do te mjere da su i lik i sama serija, osim ako je shvatite kao neku vrstu satire, često dosta neugodni za gledanje - već na početku prve epizode gledatelja naziva debelim i lijenim, a trudnu novinarku debelom i ružno odjevenom. Stvari se nakon toga nimalo ne popravljaju, a kulminiraju u posljednjoj epizodi, kad u maniri razmažene nasljednice Delvy odbija ući u sudnicu jer joj se ne sviđa odjeća koju je dobila, da bi potom odvjetnika koji ju je došao prizvati pameti otpustila i izvikala zbog njegove loše odabrane odjeće.

Zbog takvih se detalja Annin lik doima u najmanju ruku poremećenim. S obzirom da ne znamo kakva je prevarantica s Manhattna uistinu, o tome možda ne bismo smjeli suditi, ali onda ne bi smjela ni produkcija serije. Delvey iz serije "Inventing Anna" je ohola, opterećena aurom neshvaćenog genija koja povremeno balansira na rubu uloge žrtve, da bi se već u idućem trenu preobratila u nemilosrdnog narcisa. Je li prava Anna takva? Bilo bi zanimljivo doznati, možda u nekom dokumentarcu koji ne bi trebao na početku svake epizode isticati upozorenje "Ova je priča potpuno istinita, osim dijelova koji su izmišljeni".

Nije bila super-seksi, nije bila super-šarmantna, nije bila ni osobito fina, tim je riječima Anu Sorokin, prevaranticu koja je osuđena za izvlačenje pustih stotina tisuća dolara od njujorške elite i uglednih bankovnih institucija, opisala Jessica Pressler, novinarka čija je priča poslužila kao predložak za seriju "Inventing Anna", trenutni super-hit na Netflixu.

Upozorenje  "Ova je priča potpuno istinita, osim dijelova koji su izmišljeni", istaknuto na početku svake epizode gledatelji bi trebali uzeti zaozbiljno, ako im već činjenica da je serija snimljena u istoj produkciji kao Bridgerton nije dovoljna. Baš poput Bridgertona, i ova serija gledatelje mami obećanjem o otkrivanju nepoznatih detalja iz života elite, no premda su joj glavni likovi, za razliku onih iz Bridgertona, stvarne osobe, zapravo su široj javnosti u jednakoj mjeri nepoznati i irelevantni. Poznat nam je, međutim, naslovni lik, o kojem se za vrijeme suđenja, a osobito nakon što se pročulo da će se naći u središtu pozornosti novog projekta Shonde Rhimes, naveliko pisalo.
