Epidemiolog Bernard Kaić u razgovoru za N1 u subotu je rekao kako još uvijek nema čvrstih dokaza koji bi poduprli odluke o cijepljenju osoba koje su preboljele covid-19, no prema dostupnim istraživanjima čini se da preboljeli doista neće trebati primiti više od jedne doze cjepiva.
'Preporuke o cijepljenju ljudi koji su preboljeli, temeljene su na malo znanstvenih dokaza, više na pretpostavkama i predostrožnosti', rekao je Bernard Kaić i dodao:
'Nema pravog znanstvenog dokaza da preboljeli uopće trebaju biti cijepljeni, ali se iz predostrožnosti savjetuje da budu. Nema dokaza ni koji bi rekao točno u kojem trenutku trebaju biti cijepljeni kao ni treba li druga doza. Postoje različite preporuke, npr. SAD cijepi čim čovjek preboli jednu dozu pa da drugu, Njemačka čeka šest mjeseci za jednu dozu i to je to, drugu ni ne daju.
U svjetlu tog manjka znanstvenih dokaza tokom travnja je izašlo nekoliko znanstvenih radova koji ukazuju uvjerljivo na to da je jedna doza dovoljna. Po svemu što sam vidio u stručnoj literaturi, najviše ima utemeljenja da se da jedna doza nakon preboljenja, unutar šest mjeseci. Smatram da je 3 do 6 mjeseci najbolje za cijepljenje na temlju svega što sam dosad pročitao.'
Ističe da cijepimo koliko možemo: 'Neutrošene su samo one doze koje se još nisu stigle dati. Jučer i prekjučer smo još radili distribuciju tih doza, dio Pfizera je došao u ponedjeljak, oko 95.000 i to je praktički sve otišlo, a onih 130.000 AstraZenece i 20-ak tisuća Moderne tek se jučer distribuiralo na teren, još će se i u ponedjeljak distribuirati.'
Smatra da se nigdje ne čeka s cjepivom te objašnjava da je to procedura i da treba neko vrijeme da se doze razdijele nakon što se sve provjeri:
'Mislim da nigdje ne stoji cjepivo, ne čeka. Svi koji su imali cjepiva, cijepili su, ali ovdje u Školi narodnog zdravlja Andrija Štampar HZJZ i danas cijepi. Kad cjepivo stigne, treba se pregledati, provjeriti papirologija, organizirati distribucija u 20 zavoda, onda oni organiziraju na punktove tako da cjepivo ne može isti dan, kad dođe, biti upotrijebljeno. U Lučkom u Zagrebu je centralno skladište, jučer je došlo 6000 doza Janssena (Johnson&Johnson), i došlo je odmah u naš Zavod, ali ne može odmah biti u Dubrovniku.'
Zaključno je rekao da očekuje da će se ispuniti cilj od 55% cijepljenog odraslog stanovništva do kraja lipnja, piše N1.

Epidemiolog Bernard Kaić u razgovoru za N1 u subotu je rekao kako još uvijek nema čvrstih dokaza koji bi poduprli odluke o cijepljenju osoba koje su preboljele covid-19, no prema dostupnim istraživanjima čini se da preboljeli doista neće trebati primiti više od jedne doze cjepiva.
'Preporuke o cijepljenju ljudi koji su preboljeli, temeljene su na malo znanstvenih dokaza, više na pretpostavkama i predostrožnosti', rekao je Bernard Kaić i dodao:
'Nema pravog znanstvenog dokaza da preboljeli uopće trebaju biti cijepljeni, ali se iz predostrožnosti savjetuje da budu. Nema dokaza ni koji bi rekao točno u kojem trenutku trebaju biti cijepljeni kao ni treba li druga doza. Postoje različite preporuke, npr. SAD cijepi čim čovjek preboli jednu dozu pa da drugu, Njemačka čeka šest mjeseci za jednu dozu i to je to, drugu ni ne daju.
U svjetlu tog manjka znanstvenih dokaza tokom travnja je izašlo nekoliko znanstvenih radova koji ukazuju uvjerljivo na to da je jedna doza dovoljna. Po svemu što sam vidio u stručnoj literaturi, najviše ima utemeljenja da se da jedna doza nakon preboljenja, unutar šest mjeseci. Smatram da je 3 do 6 mjeseci najbolje za cijepljenje na temlju svega što sam dosad pročitao.'
Ističe da cijepimo koliko možemo: 'Neutrošene su samo one doze koje se još nisu stigle dati. Jučer i prekjučer smo još radili distribuciju tih doza, dio Pfizera je došao u ponedjeljak, oko 95.000 i to je praktički sve otišlo, a onih 130.000 AstraZenece i 20-ak tisuća Moderne tek se jučer distribuiralo na teren, još će se i u ponedjeljak distribuirati.'
Smatra da se nigdje ne čeka s cjepivom te objašnjava da je to procedura i da treba neko vrijeme da se doze razdijele nakon što se sve provjeri:
'Mislim da nigdje ne stoji cjepivo, ne čeka. Svi koji su imali cjepiva, cijepili su, ali ovdje u Školi narodnog zdravlja Andrija Štampar HZJZ i danas cijepi. Kad cjepivo stigne, treba se pregledati, provjeriti papirologija, organizirati distribucija u 20 zavoda, onda oni organiziraju na punktove tako da cjepivo ne može isti dan, kad dođe, biti upotrijebljeno. U Lučkom u Zagrebu je centralno skladište, jučer je došlo 6000 doza Janssena (Johnson&Johnson), i došlo je odmah u naš Zavod, ali ne može odmah biti u Dubrovniku.'
Zaključno je rekao da očekuje da će se ispuniti cilj od 55% cijepljenog odraslog stanovništva do kraja lipnja, piše N1.
