Gotovo svi se slažu da su proslava 40. rođendana šibenskih Funcuta (širom Krešimirova grada) i obilježavanje jednakog broja desetljeća od famozne utakmice Šibenka – Bosna u Kući umjetnosti Arsen protekli na visokoj razini. S nemalom dozom emocija, temeljenih na lokalpatriotizmu. I ne samo na lokalpatriotizmu! U Kući umjetnosti Arsen, nazvanoj po velikom Šibenčaninu i autoru himne Šibenke, voditelj je na početku, među inim, citirao stihove pjesme Jure Stublića “Vjeruj, nema života od sjećanja…”, pa je u skladu s time na kraju efektne i emotivne priredbe posegnuo za pitanjem Anti Nakiću, aktualnom predsjedniku Šibenke, u stilu “Što Baldekin čeka sutra?!”.
Bolje dinar u ladu...
Pitanje, očito, nije zateklo predsjednika šibenskog prvoligaša pa je spremno odgovorio: “I dalje ostajemo vjerni orijentaciji na mlade, pogotovu na domaće snage. U idućoj sezoni gradit ćemo puno toga na mladom tercetu Antonio Klarin - Juraj Pleadin - Luka Skorić” (op.p. i on je porijeklom iz Šibensko-kninske županije, točnije iz Bičina).
Zašto ne spominje Paića!? To pitanje odmah se nametnulo nazočnima, itekako svjesnima da je ove godine Šibenka funkcionirala na pravi način jedino kad je Pavao Paić igrao potpuno spreman. Na utakmici Šibenka - Cibona dobili smo, doduše, neslužbeni odgovor ili bolje reći ćakulu, koja kola šibenskim sportskim kuloarima, a koja se svodi na to da se klupsko vodstvo i nadareni košarkaš ne mogu dogovoriti oko novog ugovora (čitaj: visine plaće). No, i to da se Paićev zahtjev i klupski zahtjev ne razlikuju previše ili da je riječ o nekoliko stotina eura mjesečno. Da se nadareni košarkaš drži stare dalmatinske “Bolje dinar u ladu nego tri na suncu”!
Ta nas je kuloarska informacija podsvjesno vratila u ona ljeta kad je Baldekin iz sličnih razloga izgubio internacionalca Roka Badžima i Ciboninu uzdanicu Krešimira Radovčića. Na staru šibensku (ne samo košarkašku) navadu da se obično i pretjerano cjenkamo oko domaćih igrača, dok smo elastičniji s fureštima, pa makar nismo do kraja provjerili je li riječ o stvarnom pojačanju ili mačku u vreći!?
Kad je riječ o toj ne baš prihvatljivoj navadi, ne trebamo ni ići u blisku ili daleku prošlost. Svejedno, radilo se o Baldekinu ili Šubićevcu. Koliko je promašenih akvizicija, kao i jedan od bitnih razloga silazne putanje, stiglo u aktualnoj sezoni na šibenski travnjak! Teško je pojačanjima titulirati i dva Amerikanca, koji su aterirali na Baldekin, Mylesa Howarda i Jakea Kakara. Prvoga nije mimoišao ni šibenski cinizam u stilu “Pa, nije vrag da su tog Amerikanca kupili na tradicionalnom sajmu u Benkovcu!?”.
Dvostruko povećalo
Ne, nema dvojbe da u gradu, što se ne može pohvaliti obilatim sportskim proračunom, ni jakim šibenskim sponzorima, pridošlica mora biti bolji od (većine) domaćih igrača.
- Kad igraš u inozemstvu, tamo te domaći klupski funkcionari kao stranca promatraju kroz dvostruko povećalo - kazivali su nam svojedobno šibenski nogometni veterani, braća Ante i Joško Žaja.
Ako nema bržeg napretka domaćih mladih igrača bez pojačanja sa strane, onda se dobro držati stare narodne “kako je bolje dva kilograma zdravih umjesto deset kilograma križanih jabuka”.
A “križanih jabuka” je bilo nemalo ove sezone u šibenskim prvoligašima. Zato se ne smijemo tako lako odreći Paića.

U Kući umjetnosti Arsen, nazvanoj po velikom Šibenčaninu i autoru himne Šibenke, voditelj je na početku, među inim, citirao stihove pjesme Jure Stublića “Vjeruj, nema života od sjećanja…”, pa je u skladu s time na kraju efektne i emotivne priredbe posegnuo za pitanjem Anti Nakiću, aktualnom predsjedniku Šibenke, u stilu “Što Baldekin čeka sutra?!”.
Bolje dinar u ladu...
Pitanje, očito, nije zateklo predsjednika šibenskog prvoligaša pa je spremno odgovorio: “I dalje ostajemo vjerni orijentaciji na mlade, pogotovu na domaće snage. U idućoj sezoni gradit ćemo puno toga na mladom tercetu Antonio Klarin - Juraj Pleadin - Luka Skorić” (op.p. i on je porijeklom iz Šibensko-kninske županije, točnije iz Bičina).
Zašto ne spominje Paića!? To pitanje odmah se nametnulo nazočnima, itekako svjesnima da je ove godine Šibenka funkcionirala na pravi način jedino kad je Pavao Paić igrao potpuno spreman. Na utakmici Šibenka - Cibona dobili smo, doduše, neslužbeni odgovor ili bolje reći ćakulu, koja kola šibenskim sportskim kuloarima, a koja se svodi na to da se klupsko vodstvo i nadareni košarkaš ne mogu dogovoriti oko novog ugovora (čitaj: visine plaće). No, i to da se Paićev zahtjev i klupski zahtjev ne razlikuju previše ili da je riječ o nekoliko stotina eura mjesečno. Da se nadareni košarkaš drži stare dalmatinske “Bolje dinar u ladu nego tri na suncu”!
Ta nas je kuloarska informacija podsvjesno vratila u ona ljeta kad je Baldekin iz sličnih razloga izgubio internacionalca Roka Badžima i Ciboninu uzdanicu Krešimira Radovčića. Na staru šibensku (ne samo košarkašku) navadu da se obično i pretjerano cjenkamo oko domaćih igrača, dok smo elastičniji s fureštima, pa makar nismo do kraja provjerili je li riječ o stvarnom pojačanju ili mačku u vreći!?
Kad je riječ o toj ne baš prihvatljivoj navadi, ne trebamo ni ići u blisku ili daleku prošlost. Svejedno, radilo se o Baldekinu ili Šubićevcu. Koliko je promašenih akvizicija, kao i jedan od bitnih razloga silazne putanje, stiglo u aktualnoj sezoni na šibenski travnjak! Teško je pojačanjima titulirati i dva Amerikanca, koji su aterirali na Baldekin, Mylesa Howarda i Jakea Kakara. Prvoga nije mimoišao ni šibenski cinizam u stilu “Pa, nije vrag da su tog Amerikanca kupili na tradicionalnom sajmu u Benkovcu!?”.
Dvostruko povećalo
Ne, nema dvojbe da u gradu, što se ne može pohvaliti obilatim sportskim proračunom, ni jakim šibenskim sponzorima, pridošlica mora biti bolji od (većine) domaćih igrača.
- Kad igraš u inozemstvu, tamo te domaći klupski funkcionari kao stranca promatraju kroz dvostruko povećalo - kazivali su nam svojedobno šibenski nogometni veterani, braća Ante i Joško Žaja.
Ako nema bržeg napretka domaćih mladih igrača bez pojačanja sa strane, onda se dobro držati stare narodne “kako je bolje dva kilograma zdravih umjesto deset kilograma križanih jabuka”.
A “križanih jabuka” je bilo nemalo ove sezone u šibenskim prvoligašima. Zato se ne smijemo tako lako odreći Paića.
