Ivica Poljičak počastio nas je još jednom zgodnom crticom iz (pre)bogate šibenske povijesti. Na svojoj Facebook stranici Šibenik na kvadrat objavio je zanimljivu fotografiju Krešimirova grada snimljenu prije više od 140 godina.

Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Fotografija je snimljena oko 1880. godine... Zidine od zgrade kazališta prema tvrđavi svetog Mihovila više nema, a još su u cijelosti postojale 1875. u vrijeme posjete austrougarskog cara Franje Josipa I., a na ovoj ih snimci više nema. Također, još nije preko puta kazališta izgrađena palača Mattiazzi, koju je 1884. godine podigao bogati šibenski posjednik Vicko Mattiazzi.

Uz zgradu kazališta, u prvom redu uz središnju gradsku cestu do današnjih dana ostala je kuća Šupuk (u sredini snimke). U desnom dijelu fotografije, vidi se duga jednokatnica te ispred nje dugi dvorišni zid. Riječ je o zgradi zvanoj „badžana“. Na sjeveroistočnom prilazu gradu, prije rušenje gradskih zidina, tamo se nalazila svojevrsna carinarnica i služila je kao skladišni prostor. Velikim zalaganjem šibenskog biskupa Ivana Jerčića 1847. godine bečke vlasti su dopustile preuređenje građevina badžane u ubožnicu, za potrebe najsiromašnijih Šibenčana.

Preuređenju badžane se pristupilo u travnju 1850. godine, a rekonstrukcija je uspješno okončana 18. kolovoza iste godine i predana na korištenje. Ubožnica se nalazila u zgradi badžane do 1907. kada je preseljenja u zgradu nekadašnje bolnice u Varošu, koju i dandanas Šibenčani još uvijek zovu Uboški dom.", napisao je Poljičak.

Ivica Poljičak počastio nas je još jednom zgodnom crticom iz (pre)bogate šibenske povijesti. Na svojoj Facebook stranici Šibenik na kvadrat objavio je zanimljivu fotografiju Krešimirova grada snimljenu prije više od 140 godina.

Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Fotografija je snimljena oko 1880. godine... Zidine od zgrade kazališta prema tvrđavi svetog Mihovila više nema, a još su u cijelosti postojale 1875. u vrijeme posjete austrougarskog cara Franje Josipa I., a na ovoj ih snimci više nema. Također, još nije preko puta kazališta izgrađena palača Mattiazzi, koju je 1884. godine podigao bogati šibenski posjednik Vicko Mattiazzi.

Uz zgradu kazališta, u prvom redu uz središnju gradsku cestu do današnjih dana ostala je kuća Šupuk (u sredini snimke). U desnom dijelu fotografije, vidi se duga jednokatnica te ispred nje dugi dvorišni zid. Riječ je o zgradi zvanoj „badžana“. Na sjeveroistočnom prilazu gradu, prije rušenje gradskih zidina, tamo se nalazila svojevrsna carinarnica i služila je kao skladišni prostor. Velikim zalaganjem šibenskog biskupa Ivana Jerčića 1847. godine bečke vlasti su dopustile preuređenje građevina badžane u ubožnicu, za potrebe najsiromašnijih Šibenčana.

Preuređenju badžane se pristupilo u travnju 1850. godine, a rekonstrukcija je uspješno okončana 18. kolovoza iste godine i predana na korištenje. Ubožnica se nalazila u zgradi badžane do 1907. kada je preseljenja u zgradu nekadašnje bolnice u Varošu, koju i dandanas Šibenčani još uvijek zovu Uboški dom.", napisao je Poljičak.

Fotografija stara više od 140 godina: znate li priču o šibenskoj ubožnici i zgradi zvanoj ‘badžana‘?

Ivica Poljičak počastio nas je još jednom zgodnom crticom iz (pre)bogate šibenske povijesti. Na svojoj Facebook stranici Šibenik na kvadrat objavio je zanimljivu fotografiju Krešimirova grada snimljenu prije više od 140 godina.

Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Fotografija je snimljena oko 1880. godine... Zidine od zgrade kazališta prema tvrđavi svetog Mihovila više nema, a još su u cijelosti postojale 1875. u vrijeme posjete austrougarskog cara Franje Josipa I., a na ovoj ih snimci više nema. Također, još nije preko puta kazališta izgrađena palača Mattiazzi, koju je 1884. godine podigao bogati šibenski posjednik Vicko Mattiazzi.

Uz zgradu kazališta, u prvom redu uz središnju gradsku cestu do današnjih dana ostala je kuća Šupuk (u sredini snimke). U desnom dijelu fotografije, vidi se duga jednokatnica te ispred nje dugi dvorišni zid. Riječ je o zgradi zvanoj „badžana“. Na sjeveroistočnom prilazu gradu, prije rušenje gradskih zidina, tamo se nalazila svojevrsna carinarnica i služila je kao skladišni prostor. Velikim zalaganjem šibenskog biskupa Ivana Jerčića 1847. godine bečke vlasti su dopustile preuređenje građevina badžane u ubožnicu, za potrebe najsiromašnijih Šibenčana.

Preuređenju badžane se pristupilo u travnju 1850. godine, a rekonstrukcija je uspješno okončana 18. kolovoza iste godine i predana na korištenje. Ubožnica se nalazila u zgradi badžane do 1907. kada je preseljenja u zgradu nekadašnje bolnice u Varošu, koju i dandanas Šibenčani još uvijek zovu Uboški dom.", napisao je Poljičak.
