Privatni ronilački tim pokušat će locirati izvor izlijevanja nafte uočene u nedjelju u području Bay Marchand u Meksičkom zaljevu, nakon što je uragan Ida ovaj tjedan izazvao kaos u regiji, priopćila je u subotu američka obalna straža.

Satelitske snimke američke Nacionalne uprave za oceane i atmosferu koje je prvi objavio Associated press u srijedu, pokazuju kilometre široku smeđe-crnu mrlju koja se širi u obalnim vodama oko 3 kilometra od Port Fourchon u Louisiani, naftnom i plinskom središtu.

Čini se da snimke pokazuju mrlju koja pluta oko 19 kilometara istočno duž zaljevske obale, navodi AP.

Ida, dosad jedan od najjačih uragana koji je pogodio američku zaljevsku obalu, poharala je Louisianu prije otprilike tjedan dana, prije nego što se pomaknula sjeveroistočno te izazvala jake poplave u kojima su poginuli deseci ljudi u New Yorku i drugim sjeveroistočnim državama.

Glasnogovornik obalne straže rekao je da je Talos Energy angažirao Clean Gulf Associates da istraži sumnje na izlijevanje te je ugovorio privatni tim za ronjenje kako bi locirao izvor mrlje.

AP je citirao energetsku tvrtku koja je rekla kako vjeruje da nije odgovorna za naftu u vodi.

Nakon što izvor bude identificiran, obalna straža i partnerske agencije radit će na planu oporavka i kontrole izvora, dodao je.

Zrakoplov koji je poslan iz Teksasa prikupljat će podatke o rafineriji Phillips 66 i drugim prioritetnim lokacijama.

Privatni ronilački tim pokušat će locirati izvor izlijevanja nafte uočene u nedjelju u području Bay Marchand u Meksičkom zaljevu, nakon što je uragan Ida ovaj tjedan izazvao kaos u regiji, priopćila je u subotu američka obalna straža.

Satelitske snimke američke Nacionalne uprave za oceane i atmosferu koje je prvi objavio Associated press u srijedu, pokazuju kilometre široku smeđe-crnu mrlju koja se širi u obalnim vodama oko 3 kilometra od Port Fourchon u Louisiani, naftnom i plinskom središtu.

Čini se da snimke pokazuju mrlju koja pluta oko 19 kilometara istočno duž zaljevske obale, navodi AP.

Ida, dosad jedan od najjačih uragana koji je pogodio američku zaljevsku obalu, poharala je Louisianu prije otprilike tjedan dana, prije nego što se pomaknula sjeveroistočno te izazvala jake poplave u kojima su poginuli deseci ljudi u New Yorku i drugim sjeveroistočnim državama.

Glasnogovornik obalne straže rekao je da je Talos Energy angažirao Clean Gulf Associates da istraži sumnje na izlijevanje te je ugovorio privatni tim za ronjenje kako bi locirao izvor mrlje.

AP je citirao energetsku tvrtku koja je rekla kako vjeruje da nije odgovorna za naftu u vodi.

Nakon što izvor bude identificiran, obalna straža i partnerske agencije radit će na planu oporavka i kontrole izvora, dodao je.

Zrakoplov koji je poslan iz Teksasa prikupljat će podatke o rafineriji Phillips 66 i drugim prioritetnim lokacijama.

Privatni ronilački tim pokušat će locirati izvor izlijevanja nafte uočene u nedjelju u području Bay Marchand u Meksičkom zaljevu, nakon što je uragan Ida ovaj tjedan izazvao kaos u regiji, priopćila je u subotu američka obalna straža.

Satelitske snimke američke Nacionalne uprave za oceane i atmosferu koje je prvi objavio Associated press u srijedu, pokazuju kilometre široku smeđe-crnu mrlju koja se širi u obalnim vodama oko 3 kilometra od Port Fourchon u Louisiani, naftnom i plinskom središtu.

Čini se da snimke pokazuju mrlju koja pluta oko 19 kilometara istočno duž zaljevske obale, navodi AP.

Ida, dosad jedan od najjačih uragana koji je pogodio američku zaljevsku obalu, poharala je Louisianu prije otprilike tjedan dana, prije nego što se pomaknula sjeveroistočno te izazvala jake poplave u kojima su poginuli deseci ljudi u New Yorku i drugim sjeveroistočnim državama.

Glasnogovornik obalne straže rekao je da je Talos Energy angažirao Clean Gulf Associates da istraži sumnje na izlijevanje te je ugovorio privatni tim za ronjenje kako bi locirao izvor mrlje.

AP je citirao energetsku tvrtku koja je rekla kako vjeruje da nije odgovorna za naftu u vodi.

Nakon što izvor bude identificiran, obalna straža i partnerske agencije radit će na planu oporavka i kontrole izvora, dodao je.

Zrakoplov koji je poslan iz Teksasa prikupljat će podatke o rafineriji Phillips 66 i drugim prioritetnim lokacijama.
