Tajvanska kompanija Evergreen Marine Corp (EMC) je za kraj sjajne i profitabilne 2021. godine podijelila pozamašne bonuse svojim zaposlenicima. Neki zaposlenici navodno su primili bonuse u iznosu od čak 40 mjesečnih plaća, prenosi Pomorac.hr.
Zahvaljujući porastu cijena prijevoza kontejnera, brodarske kompanije su u 2021. godini zabilježile ogroman rast prihoda. Samo u trećem kvartalu prošle godine, dobit u sektoru kontejnerskog prijevoza iznosila je izvanrednih 48,1 milijardi američkih dolara.
Evergreen je pak za prva tri kvartala godine prijavio neto dobit od 5,7 milijardi dolara i zaradu od 1,09 dolara po dionici.
Kompanija je stoga, kako javlja kineska novinska agencija Central News Agency, u četvrtak podijelila velike bonuse. Neki zaposlenici su kući odnijeli čak 72.400 dolara – što je iznos 40 mjesečnih plaća. Međutim, iz EMC-a su pojasnili da se bonusi temelje na učinku, dakle različiti su za svakog zaposlenika.
Riječ je o velikom povećanju bonusa u odnosu na prošlu godinu, kada su vrhunski zaposlenici dobivali bonuse u visini 10 mjesečnih plaća.
“Zbog porasta cijena vozarina, obično nešto lošiji četvrti kvartal bio je odličan, možda čak i bolji od trećeg kvartala“, rekao je Eric Hsieh, predsjednik Evergreen Marine.
Ranije ove godine, Hsieh je pravdao odluku Evergreena o velikim ulaganjima u novogradnje, točnije narudžbu za desetak kontejnerskih brodova od 24.000 TEU iz 2019., tvrdeći da će brodovi biti isporučeni upravo u vrijeme kada će se moći iskoristiti porast cijena vozarina na tržištu, baš između 2021. i 2023. godine. Čini se da se rizik Evergreenu već isplatio.
Samo u ovoj godini, Evergreen je u svoju flotu primio 33 novogradnje ukupnog kapaciteta više od 260.000 TEU, čime je kompanija povećala svoj kapacitet za 18 posto. Evergreen je time postao četvrta najveća kompanija koja upravlja ultra velikim kontejnerskim brodovima od preko 18.000 TEU, odmah iza MSC-a, Maerska i COSCO-a, piše The Maritime Executive.

Tajvanska kompanija Evergreen Marine Corp (EMC) je za kraj sjajne i profitabilne 2021. godine podijelila pozamašne bonuse svojim zaposlenicima. Neki zaposlenici navodno su primili bonuse u iznosu od čak 40 mjesečnih plaća, prenosi Pomorac.hr.
Zahvaljujući porastu cijena prijevoza kontejnera, brodarske kompanije su u 2021. godini zabilježile ogroman rast prihoda. Samo u trećem kvartalu prošle godine, dobit u sektoru kontejnerskog prijevoza iznosila je izvanrednih 48,1 milijardi američkih dolara.
Evergreen je pak za prva tri kvartala godine prijavio neto dobit od 5,7 milijardi dolara i zaradu od 1,09 dolara po dionici.
Kompanija je stoga, kako javlja kineska novinska agencija Central News Agency, u četvrtak podijelila velike bonuse. Neki zaposlenici su kući odnijeli čak 72.400 dolara – što je iznos 40 mjesečnih plaća. Međutim, iz EMC-a su pojasnili da se bonusi temelje na učinku, dakle različiti su za svakog zaposlenika.
Riječ je o velikom povećanju bonusa u odnosu na prošlu godinu, kada su vrhunski zaposlenici dobivali bonuse u visini 10 mjesečnih plaća.
“Zbog porasta cijena vozarina, obično nešto lošiji četvrti kvartal bio je odličan, možda čak i bolji od trećeg kvartala“, rekao je Eric Hsieh, predsjednik Evergreen Marine.
Ranije ove godine, Hsieh je pravdao odluku Evergreena o velikim ulaganjima u novogradnje, točnije narudžbu za desetak kontejnerskih brodova od 24.000 TEU iz 2019., tvrdeći da će brodovi biti isporučeni upravo u vrijeme kada će se moći iskoristiti porast cijena vozarina na tržištu, baš između 2021. i 2023. godine. Čini se da se rizik Evergreenu već isplatio.
Samo u ovoj godini, Evergreen je u svoju flotu primio 33 novogradnje ukupnog kapaciteta više od 260.000 TEU, čime je kompanija povećala svoj kapacitet za 18 posto. Evergreen je time postao četvrta najveća kompanija koja upravlja ultra velikim kontejnerskim brodovima od preko 18.000 TEU, odmah iza MSC-a, Maerska i COSCO-a, piše The Maritime Executive.
