Egipatski sud odbacio je u nedjelju žalbu vlasnika broda za prijevoz kontejnera protiv stalnog zadržavanja broda od strane uprave Sueskog kanala, javlja Reuters.

Ever Given, jedan od najvećih svjetskih kontejnerskih brodova, 23. ožujka nasukao se u kanalu po jakom vjetru, zaustavivši promet u oba smjera i poremetivši globalnu trgovinu.

Žalba je priložena slučaju koji je u tijeku na sudu u Ismailiji, a u kojem je uprava Sueskog kanala (SCA) tražila 916 milijuna dolara odštete od vlasnika Ever Givena, japanske tvrtke Shoei Kisen.

Također u nedjelju, šef SCA sugerirao je u TV intervjuu da bi kanal mogao prihvatiti smanjenu svotu od 550 milijuna dolara, nešto nižu od 600 milijuna dolara koje je spomenuo ranije ovog mjeseca za potencijalnu izvanparničnu nagodbu.

Predsjednik SCA-e Osama Rabie rekao je da bi polog od 200 milijuna dolara mogao biti dovoljan za osiguranje puštanja broda, a ostatak bi se u tom slučaju platio zasebno.

Sud u Ismailiji vratio je slučaj u nedjelju na prvostupanjski sud koji bi ga opet trebao razmotriti 29. svibnja, rekao je Ahmed Abu Ali, jedan od odvjetnika koji zastupa vlasnika.

Svaka presuda nižeg suda mogla bi pokrenuti žalbe, rekao je drugi odvjetnik Ahmed Abu Shanab, ukazujući da bi se pravna prepirka mogla odužiti.

U izjavi koja je uslijedila nakon nedjeljne presude, SCA je rekao da ne snosi odgovornost za nasukavanje Ever Givena, ponovno potvrđujući da odgovornost snosi samo kapetan broda, te opovrgavajući argumente dan prije od strane pravnog tima Shoeija Kisena.

Egipatski sud odbacio je u nedjelju žalbu vlasnika broda za prijevoz kontejnera protiv stalnog zadržavanja broda od strane uprave Sueskog kanala, javlja Reuters.

Ever Given, jedan od najvećih svjetskih kontejnerskih brodova, 23. ožujka nasukao se u kanalu po jakom vjetru, zaustavivši promet u oba smjera i poremetivši globalnu trgovinu.

Žalba je priložena slučaju koji je u tijeku na sudu u Ismailiji, a u kojem je uprava Sueskog kanala (SCA) tražila 916 milijuna dolara odštete od vlasnika Ever Givena, japanske tvrtke Shoei Kisen.

Također u nedjelju, šef SCA sugerirao je u TV intervjuu da bi kanal mogao prihvatiti smanjenu svotu od 550 milijuna dolara, nešto nižu od 600 milijuna dolara koje je spomenuo ranije ovog mjeseca za potencijalnu izvanparničnu nagodbu.

Predsjednik SCA-e Osama Rabie rekao je da bi polog od 200 milijuna dolara mogao biti dovoljan za osiguranje puštanja broda, a ostatak bi se u tom slučaju platio zasebno.

Sud u Ismailiji vratio je slučaj u nedjelju na prvostupanjski sud koji bi ga opet trebao razmotriti 29. svibnja, rekao je Ahmed Abu Ali, jedan od odvjetnika koji zastupa vlasnika.

Svaka presuda nižeg suda mogla bi pokrenuti žalbe, rekao je drugi odvjetnik Ahmed Abu Shanab, ukazujući da bi se pravna prepirka mogla odužiti.

U izjavi koja je uslijedila nakon nedjeljne presude, SCA je rekao da ne snosi odgovornost za nasukavanje Ever Givena, ponovno potvrđujući da odgovornost snosi samo kapetan broda, te opovrgavajući argumente dan prije od strane pravnog tima Shoeija Kisena.

Egipatski sud odbacio je u nedjelju žalbu vlasnika broda za prijevoz kontejnera protiv stalnog zadržavanja broda od strane uprave Sueskog kanala, javlja Reuters.

Ever Given, jedan od najvećih svjetskih kontejnerskih brodova, 23. ožujka nasukao se u kanalu po jakom vjetru, zaustavivši promet u oba smjera i poremetivši globalnu trgovinu.

Žalba je priložena slučaju koji je u tijeku na sudu u Ismailiji, a u kojem je uprava Sueskog kanala (SCA) tražila 916 milijuna dolara odštete od vlasnika Ever Givena, japanske tvrtke Shoei Kisen.

Također u nedjelju, šef SCA sugerirao je u TV intervjuu da bi kanal mogao prihvatiti smanjenu svotu od 550 milijuna dolara, nešto nižu od 600 milijuna dolara koje je spomenuo ranije ovog mjeseca za potencijalnu izvanparničnu nagodbu.

Predsjednik SCA-e Osama Rabie rekao je da bi polog od 200 milijuna dolara mogao biti dovoljan za osiguranje puštanja broda, a ostatak bi se u tom slučaju platio zasebno.

Sud u Ismailiji vratio je slučaj u nedjelju na prvostupanjski sud koji bi ga opet trebao razmotriti 29. svibnja, rekao je Ahmed Abu Ali, jedan od odvjetnika koji zastupa vlasnika.

Svaka presuda nižeg suda mogla bi pokrenuti žalbe, rekao je drugi odvjetnik Ahmed Abu Shanab, ukazujući da bi se pravna prepirka mogla odužiti.

U izjavi koja je uslijedila nakon nedjeljne presude, SCA je rekao da ne snosi odgovornost za nasukavanje Ever Givena, ponovno potvrđujući da odgovornost snosi samo kapetan broda, te opovrgavajući argumente dan prije od strane pravnog tima Shoeija Kisena.
