Za nepunih pola godine, iz Miamija bi na svoje prvo komercijalno putovanje trebao zaploviti Icon of the Seas. Kako je riječ o najvećem ikad izgrađenom putničkom brodu, same od sebe nameću se usporedbe s najpoznatijim, i prije stotinjak godina najvećim, putničkim brodom na svijetu: 365 metara dug Icon of the Seas je za 98 metara duži, ali je sa svojih 250.800 tona oko pet puta teži od Titanica, koji je težio samo 46.329 tona.

Dok je na Titanicu bilo mjesta za 3547 osoba (2566 putnika i 981 član posade), novi najveći brod moći će ukrcati 7600 putnika, o kojima će se brinuti 2350 članova posade. Za razliku od Titanica, Icon of the Seas će, kako tvrde u Royal Carribeanu, imati dovoljno čamaca i splavi za spašavanje za svih desetak tisuća ljudi koje će taj ploveći cirkus moći ukrcati.

Za nepunih pola godine, iz Miamija bi na svoje prvo komercijalno putovanje trebao zaploviti Icon of the Seas. Kako je riječ o najvećem ikad izgrađenom putničkom brodu, same od sebe nameću se usporedbe s najpoznatijim, i prije stotinjak godina najvećim, putničkim brodom na svijetu: 365 metara dug Icon of the Seas je za 98 metara duži, ali je sa svojih 250.800 tona oko pet puta teži od Titanica, koji je težio samo 46.329 tona.

Dok je na Titanicu bilo mjesta za 3547 osoba (2566 putnika i 981 član posade), novi najveći brod moći će ukrcati 7600 putnika, o kojima će se brinuti 2350 članova posade. Za razliku od Titanica, Icon of the Seas će, kako tvrde u Royal Carribeanu, imati dovoljno čamaca i splavi za spašavanje za svih desetak tisuća ljudi koje će taj ploveći cirkus moći ukrcati.

Za nepunih pola godine, iz Miamija bi na svoje prvo komercijalno putovanje trebao zaploviti Icon of the Seas. Kako je riječ o najvećem ikad izgrađenom putničkom brodu, same od sebe nameću se usporedbe s najpoznatijim, i prije stotinjak godina najvećim, putničkim brodom na svijetu: 365 metara dug Icon of the Seas je za 98 metara duži, ali je sa svojih 250.800 tona oko pet puta teži od Titanica, koji je težio samo 46.329 tona.

Dok je na Titanicu bilo mjesta za 3547 osoba (2566 putnika i 981 član posade), novi najveći brod moći će ukrcati 7600 putnika, o kojima će se brinuti 2350 članova posade. Za razliku od Titanica, Icon of the Seas će, kako tvrde u Royal Carribeanu, imati dovoljno čamaca i splavi za spašavanje za svih desetak tisuća ljudi koje će taj ploveći cirkus moći ukrcati.
