Na Šolti u mjestu Nečujam oko 50-ak volontera zavrnulo je rukave i krenuli u čišćenje jedne od najljepših uvala u Dalmaciji. Ured Europske komisije u Hrvatskoj i udruga Oceanus organizirali su ekološku akciju čišćenja podmorja u sklopu projekta SeaForLife. Ekoakcija na otoku Šolti jedna je od više od 400 događanja #EMDInMyCountry u sklopu obilježavanja europskog dana pomorstva diljem Europe.
Dok je dio volontera oblačio svoja ronilačka odjela i pripremao se za zaron, drugi su pak na kopnu čistili plažu i žurno iščekivali otpad koji će dovući ronioci. Bilo je tu svega, od boca, tende pa sve do ogromnih traktorskih guma.
- Zajedničkim naporima prisutnih volontera, iz mora i s plaže je prikupljen pun kontejner smeća. Mi iz Oceanusa pokušavamo biti što aktivniji te uz naše aktivnosti redovno sudjelujemo na eko akcijama ostalih ronilačkih klubova u Dalmaciji. Naši članovi većinom su studenti s ‘Sveučilišnog odjela za studije mora u Splitu, ali ima članova s ostalih fakulteta – kazala nam je Kristina Odžak, predsjednica Oceanusa i jedna od koordinatorica projekta.

Kristina dodaje kako su u akciji sudjelovali članovi HVIDRA-e Split, ronilačkog kluba Mornar, ronilačkog kluba Spinut, volonteri Oceanusa i mještani Šolte.
Zabrinjavajuća je činjenica kako plastika čini oko 80 posto morskog otpada, a prema znanstvenim studijama, do 2050. u svjetskim oceanima bit će više plastičnog otpada nego riba. Upravo zato volonteri Udruge Oceanus odlučili su djeci sa Šolte održati edukaciju vezanu uz ekologiju i očuvanje mora, te im uz interaktivne igre i razgovor pojasniti upravo i specifičan naziv eko akcije ‘more za životi‘.
- Jako smo zadovoljni s projektom, svi smo dali sve od sebe. Po meni najvažniji segment je upravo taj da ova djeca od malih nogu nauče zašto je more bitno, da ne rade greške svojih predaka te da neoprezne turiste upozore na očuvanje mora – rekla nam je Anamarija Mikulić jedna od koordinatorica projekta i članica Europe direkt tima u Hrvatskoj
- Mjesecima smo pripremali ovaj jedan dan na Šolti, dali sve od sebe. Sad nakon akcije kada vidim koji smo posao napravili ne mogu biti ponosnija na sve nas ovdje, od ronioca pa do ljudi na kopnu. Svi su tili ‘dat ruke‘, a mislim da smo svima ovim pokazali da ‘škovacama nije misto u moru‘, što je i slogan ove naše akcije – istaknula je na kraju Matea Zanić jedna od koordinatorica projekta i članica Europe direkt tima u Hrvatskoj.

Na Šolti u mjestu Nečujam oko 50-ak volontera zavrnulo je rukave i krenuli u čišćenje jedne od najljepših uvala u Dalmaciji. Ured Europske komisije u Hrvatskoj i udruga Oceanus organizirali su ekološku akciju čišćenja podmorja u sklopu projekta SeaForLife. Ekoakcija na otoku Šolti jedna je od više od 400 događanja #EMDInMyCountry u sklopu obilježavanja europskog dana pomorstva diljem Europe.
Dok je dio volontera oblačio svoja ronilačka odjela i pripremao se za zaron, drugi su pak na kopnu čistili plažu i žurno iščekivali otpad koji će dovući ronioci. Bilo je tu svega, od boca, tende pa sve do ogromnih traktorskih guma.
- Zajedničkim naporima prisutnih volontera, iz mora i s plaže je prikupljen pun kontejner smeća. Mi iz Oceanusa pokušavamo biti što aktivniji te uz naše aktivnosti redovno sudjelujemo na eko akcijama ostalih ronilačkih klubova u Dalmaciji. Naši članovi većinom su studenti s ‘Sveučilišnog odjela za studije mora u Splitu, ali ima članova s ostalih fakulteta – kazala nam je Kristina Odžak, predsjednica Oceanusa i jedna od koordinatorica projekta.

Kristina dodaje kako su u akciji sudjelovali članovi HVIDRA-e Split, ronilačkog kluba Mornar, ronilačkog kluba Spinut, volonteri Oceanusa i mještani Šolte.
Zabrinjavajuća je činjenica kako plastika čini oko 80 posto morskog otpada, a prema znanstvenim studijama, do 2050. u svjetskim oceanima bit će više plastičnog otpada nego riba. Upravo zato volonteri Udruge Oceanus odlučili su djeci sa Šolte održati edukaciju vezanu uz ekologiju i očuvanje mora, te im uz interaktivne igre i razgovor pojasniti upravo i specifičan naziv eko akcije ‘more za životi‘.
- Jako smo zadovoljni s projektom, svi smo dali sve od sebe. Po meni najvažniji segment je upravo taj da ova djeca od malih nogu nauče zašto je more bitno, da ne rade greške svojih predaka te da neoprezne turiste upozore na očuvanje mora – rekla nam je Anamarija Mikulić jedna od koordinatorica projekta i članica Europe direkt tima u Hrvatskoj
- Mjesecima smo pripremali ovaj jedan dan na Šolti, dali sve od sebe. Sad nakon akcije kada vidim koji smo posao napravili ne mogu biti ponosnija na sve nas ovdje, od ronioca pa do ljudi na kopnu. Svi su tili ‘dat ruke‘, a mislim da smo svima ovim pokazali da ‘škovacama nije misto u moru‘, što je i slogan ove naše akcije – istaknula je na kraju Matea Zanić jedna od koordinatorica projekta i članica Europe direkt tima u Hrvatskoj.
