Petra Marendić je završila na 4. mjestu u klasi ILCA 6 na Svjetskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u jedrenju u brazilskom Buziosu, javlja naš suradnik Davor Burazin.

Jedriličarka splitskog Mornara u posljednji je dan ušla s 3. mjesta, realno i u poziciji napasti zlato, jer je zaostajala samo tri boda za vodećom Roos Wind, no na kraju jedine regate (devete ukupno) ostala je bez svega, bez medalje.

Dok su njene tri suparnice prošle kroz cilj kao prva (Wind), druga (Sienna Wright) i treća (Emma Mattivi), Marendić je bila tek deveta i morala se zadovoljiti sa 4. mjestom. Na kraju je Nizozemka Wind uzela zlato (32 boda), Talijanka Mattivi je bila srebrna (36 bodova), a Irkinja Wright brončana (37 bodova). Petra je na 4. mjestu imala 43 boda.

Kad se sve sabere, Petra je bez medalje ostala prvog dana prvenstva. Tada je u prvom plovu bila druga, no naknadno je diskvalificirana (46 bodova) i to joj je stvorilo dodatan pritisak u nastavku prvenstva. Iako joj je taj rezultat na kraju odbačen kao najlošiji, iako je do kraja imala samo Top Ten plasmane, konačni poredak bi izgledao sasvim drugačije bez te diskvalifikacije.

Tako je 18-godišnja Petra ostala bez šeste velike medalje, treće sa svjetskih prvenstava (srebro i bronca u ILCA 4 do 18 godina, 2021. i 2022. godine). Na europskim prvenstvima je bila zlatna do 16 godina (klasa 4.7, 2020. godine) i dvaput brončana u ILCA 6 do 19 godina prošle i ove godine.

U Buziosu u ILCA nastupilo 45 jedriličarki.

Ian Anić iz Labuda je zauzeo vrlo dobro 7. mjesto među 32 jedriličara u iQFOiL-u. Sigurno je mogao biti bolji da nije morao propustiti dvije regate zbog slomljenog jedra.

Lovre Bakotić iz JK Split se plasirao na 9. mjesto među 48 jedriličara u ILCA 6, šteta što ga je krenulo tek u drugom dijelu prvenstva. Marija Dolenc je bila 8. među samo 11 natjecateljica u Formuli Kite. Mara Samaržija i Tin Fike su u klasi 420 (samo muški i miks) bili 13. među 24 posade, a na istom mjestu su završile Ana Grubelić i Sara Vuletić u klasi 420 među 21 posadom.

Petra Marendić je završila na 4. mjestu u klasi ILCA 6 na Svjetskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u jedrenju u brazilskom Buziosu, javlja naš suradnik Davor Burazin.

Jedriličarka splitskog Mornara u posljednji je dan ušla s 3. mjesta, realno i u poziciji napasti zlato, jer je zaostajala samo tri boda za vodećom Roos Wind, no na kraju jedine regate (devete ukupno) ostala je bez svega, bez medalje.

Dok su njene tri suparnice prošle kroz cilj kao prva (Wind), druga (Sienna Wright) i treća (Emma Mattivi), Marendić je bila tek deveta i morala se zadovoljiti sa 4. mjestom. Na kraju je Nizozemka Wind uzela zlato (32 boda), Talijanka Mattivi je bila srebrna (36 bodova), a Irkinja Wright brončana (37 bodova). Petra je na 4. mjestu imala 43 boda.

Kad se sve sabere, Petra je bez medalje ostala prvog dana prvenstva. Tada je u prvom plovu bila druga, no naknadno je diskvalificirana (46 bodova) i to joj je stvorilo dodatan pritisak u nastavku prvenstva. Iako joj je taj rezultat na kraju odbačen kao najlošiji, iako je do kraja imala samo Top Ten plasmane, konačni poredak bi izgledao sasvim drugačije bez te diskvalifikacije.

Tako je 18-godišnja Petra ostala bez šeste velike medalje, treće sa svjetskih prvenstava (srebro i bronca u ILCA 4 do 18 godina, 2021. i 2022. godine). Na europskim prvenstvima je bila zlatna do 16 godina (klasa 4.7, 2020. godine) i dvaput brončana u ILCA 6 do 19 godina prošle i ove godine.

U Buziosu u ILCA nastupilo 45 jedriličarki.

Ian Anić iz Labuda je zauzeo vrlo dobro 7. mjesto među 32 jedriličara u iQFOiL-u. Sigurno je mogao biti bolji da nije morao propustiti dvije regate zbog slomljenog jedra.

Lovre Bakotić iz JK Split se plasirao na 9. mjesto među 48 jedriličara u ILCA 6, šteta što ga je krenulo tek u drugom dijelu prvenstva. Marija Dolenc je bila 8. među samo 11 natjecateljica u Formuli Kite. Mara Samaržija i Tin Fike su u klasi 420 (samo muški i miks) bili 13. među 24 posade, a na istom mjestu su završile Ana Grubelić i Sara Vuletić u klasi 420 među 21 posadom.

Petra Marendić je završila na 4. mjestu u klasi ILCA 6 na Svjetskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u jedrenju u brazilskom Buziosu, javlja naš suradnik Davor Burazin.

Jedriličarka splitskog Mornara u posljednji je dan ušla s 3. mjesta, realno i u poziciji napasti zlato, jer je zaostajala samo tri boda za vodećom Roos Wind, no na kraju jedine regate (devete ukupno) ostala je bez svega, bez medalje.

Dok su njene tri suparnice prošle kroz cilj kao prva (Wind), druga (Sienna Wright) i treća (Emma Mattivi), Marendić je bila tek deveta i morala se zadovoljiti sa 4. mjestom. Na kraju je Nizozemka Wind uzela zlato (32 boda), Talijanka Mattivi je bila srebrna (36 bodova), a Irkinja Wright brončana (37 bodova). Petra je na 4. mjestu imala 43 boda.

Kad se sve sabere, Petra je bez medalje ostala prvog dana prvenstva. Tada je u prvom plovu bila druga, no naknadno je diskvalificirana (46 bodova) i to joj je stvorilo dodatan pritisak u nastavku prvenstva. Iako joj je taj rezultat na kraju odbačen kao najlošiji, iako je do kraja imala samo Top Ten plasmane, konačni poredak bi izgledao sasvim drugačije bez te diskvalifikacije.

Tako je 18-godišnja Petra ostala bez šeste velike medalje, treće sa svjetskih prvenstava (srebro i bronca u ILCA 4 do 18 godina, 2021. i 2022. godine). Na europskim prvenstvima je bila zlatna do 16 godina (klasa 4.7, 2020. godine) i dvaput brončana u ILCA 6 do 19 godina prošle i ove godine.

U Buziosu u ILCA nastupilo 45 jedriličarki.

Ian Anić iz Labuda je zauzeo vrlo dobro 7. mjesto među 32 jedriličara u iQFOiL-u. Sigurno je mogao biti bolji da nije morao propustiti dvije regate zbog slomljenog jedra.

Lovre Bakotić iz JK Split se plasirao na 9. mjesto među 48 jedriličara u ILCA 6, šteta što ga je krenulo tek u drugom dijelu prvenstva. Marija Dolenc je bila 8. među samo 11 natjecateljica u Formuli Kite. Mara Samaržija i Tin Fike su u klasi 420 (samo muški i miks) bili 13. među 24 posade, a na istom mjestu su završile Ana Grubelić i Sara Vuletić u klasi 420 među 21 posadom.
