Požar koji je u srijedu izbio na teretnom brodu u Sjevernom moru, u blizini nizozemske obale, teško je ugasiti jer nije moguće pristupiti požaru iznutra, objasnio je u četvrtak stručnjak za brodsku sigurnost Lars Tober.

U požaru na teretnom brodu Fremantle Highway koji je prevozio automobile, jedna je osoba poginula, a neki članovi posade skakali su u more, priopćila je u srijedu nizozemska obalna straža.

U spašavanju 23 člana posade sudjelovali su brzi čamci i helikopteri, no vatrena stihija nije ugašena.

"Radi se o golemom trupu broda koji gori iznutra. Jedino što mogu je zalijevati vodom izvana, ne mogu ući unutra. Nema otvora iz kojeg mogu učinkovito upotrijebiti sredstva za gašenje", rekao je Tober za njemačku televiziju ZDF.

"Izazov je brod održati stabilnim, da se ne nagne, prevrne te da se na trupu ne naprave pukotine. To je sada u stvari glavni zadatak", dodao je stručnjak.

"Spremišta s gorivom su ispod linije površine vode, tako da za sada tu nema opasnosti, A gorivo u automobilima, uglavnom benzin, isparava na visokim temperaturama te je slaba mogućnost da će iscuriti. Također, baterije električnih automobila više ne predstavljaju rizik jer gore samo pola sata", objasnio je Tober.

Registriran u Panami, brod je prevozio ukupno 2857 automobila iz Njemačke u Egipat, a na brodu je bilo 25 električnih automobila, rekla je ranije nizozemska obalna straža.

Međutim, japanska brodarska tvrtka priopćila je u četvrtak da je na brodu bilo više automobila nego što se prvobitno znalo. Brod je prevozio 3783 automobila, rekao je u četvrtak za agenciju dpa glasnogovornik brodarske tvrtke.

Brod dug 199 metara, isplovio je iz njemačke luke Bremerhaven kada je na 27 kilometara od otoka Ameland, u Waddenskom moru, izbio požar.

Brod je uspješno odvučen iz plovnih puteva, izvijestila je nizozemska televizija NOS.

Uzrok požara još nije poznat.

Požar koji je u srijedu izbio na teretnom brodu u Sjevernom moru, u blizini nizozemske obale, teško je ugasiti jer nije moguće pristupiti požaru iznutra, objasnio je u četvrtak stručnjak za brodsku sigurnost Lars Tober.

U požaru na teretnom brodu Fremantle Highway koji je prevozio automobile, jedna je osoba poginula, a neki članovi posade skakali su u more, priopćila je u srijedu nizozemska obalna straža.

U spašavanju 23 člana posade sudjelovali su brzi čamci i helikopteri, no vatrena stihija nije ugašena.

"Radi se o golemom trupu broda koji gori iznutra. Jedino što mogu je zalijevati vodom izvana, ne mogu ući unutra. Nema otvora iz kojeg mogu učinkovito upotrijebiti sredstva za gašenje", rekao je Tober za njemačku televiziju ZDF.

"Izazov je brod održati stabilnim, da se ne nagne, prevrne te da se na trupu ne naprave pukotine. To je sada u stvari glavni zadatak", dodao je stručnjak.

"Spremišta s gorivom su ispod linije površine vode, tako da za sada tu nema opasnosti, A gorivo u automobilima, uglavnom benzin, isparava na visokim temperaturama te je slaba mogućnost da će iscuriti. Također, baterije električnih automobila više ne predstavljaju rizik jer gore samo pola sata", objasnio je Tober.

Registriran u Panami, brod je prevozio ukupno 2857 automobila iz Njemačke u Egipat, a na brodu je bilo 25 električnih automobila, rekla je ranije nizozemska obalna straža.

Međutim, japanska brodarska tvrtka priopćila je u četvrtak da je na brodu bilo više automobila nego što se prvobitno znalo. Brod je prevozio 3783 automobila, rekao je u četvrtak za agenciju dpa glasnogovornik brodarske tvrtke.

Brod dug 199 metara, isplovio je iz njemačke luke Bremerhaven kada je na 27 kilometara od otoka Ameland, u Waddenskom moru, izbio požar.

Waddensko more je plitko more koje se proteže uz obale Sjevernog mora Nizozemske, Njemačke i Danske

Brod je uspješno odvučen iz plovnih puteva, izvijestila je nizozemska televizija NOS.

Uzrok požara još nije poznat.

Požar koji je u srijedu izbio na teretnom brodu u Sjevernom moru, u blizini nizozemske obale, teško je ugasiti jer nije moguće pristupiti požaru iznutra, objasnio je u četvrtak stručnjak za brodsku sigurnost Lars Tober.

U požaru na teretnom brodu Fremantle Highway koji je prevozio automobile, jedna je osoba poginula, a neki članovi posade skakali su u more, priopćila je u srijedu nizozemska obalna straža.

U spašavanju 23 člana posade sudjelovali su brzi čamci i helikopteri, no vatrena stihija nije ugašena.

"Radi se o golemom trupu broda koji gori iznutra. Jedino što mogu je zalijevati vodom izvana, ne mogu ući unutra. Nema otvora iz kojeg mogu učinkovito upotrijebiti sredstva za gašenje", rekao je Tober za njemačku televiziju ZDF.

"Izazov je brod održati stabilnim, da se ne nagne, prevrne te da se na trupu ne naprave pukotine. To je sada u stvari glavni zadatak", dodao je stručnjak.

"Spremišta s gorivom su ispod linije površine vode, tako da za sada tu nema opasnosti, A gorivo u automobilima, uglavnom benzin, isparava na visokim temperaturama te je slaba mogućnost da će iscuriti. Također, baterije električnih automobila više ne predstavljaju rizik jer gore samo pola sata", objasnio je Tober.

Registriran u Panami, brod je prevozio ukupno 2857 automobila iz Njemačke u Egipat, a na brodu je bilo 25 električnih automobila, rekla je ranije nizozemska obalna straža.

Međutim, japanska brodarska tvrtka priopćila je u četvrtak da je na brodu bilo više automobila nego što se prvobitno znalo. Brod je prevozio 3783 automobila, rekao je u četvrtak za agenciju dpa glasnogovornik brodarske tvrtke.

Brod dug 199 metara, isplovio je iz njemačke luke Bremerhaven kada je na 27 kilometara od otoka Ameland, u Waddenskom moru, izbio požar.

Brod je uspješno odvučen iz plovnih puteva, izvijestila je nizozemska televizija NOS.

Uzrok požara još nije poznat.
