Novi pomorski propisi nalažu promjenu u pogledu ekološki prihvatljivih goriva. Tu se nameće više bitnih postavki: od zakonskih, preko mogućnosti koje su dostupbe, pa preko potražnje kupaca i pritiska proizvođača...U praksi trenutno, brodarske tvrtke eksperimentiraju s nizom ekološki prihvatljivijih goriva. Ali koji kandidat će osigurati budućnost bez ugljika za sektor pomorskog prometa?

Kako bi saznali kako čelnici industrije razmišljaju o budućim gorivima, Globalni centar za pomorsku dekarbonizaciju, Globalni pomorski forum i Maersk Mc-Kinney centar za otpremu s nultom emisijom ugljika (uz analitičku podršku Mckinseyja) proveli su anketu među brodarskim tvrtkama, prenosi portal maritime-executive.com.

Anketa je uključila 29 velikih brodarskih tvrtki koje upravljaju flotama u rasponu od kontejnerskih brodova do brodova za krstarenje, brodova za rasuti teret, brodova za prijevoz plina i kruzera. Zajedno, te tvrtke čine oko 20 posto ukupnog svjetskog kapaciteta brodske flote.

Ključni zaključak iz ankete je da ispitanici očekuju svijet sa širokim rasponom goriva do 2050. godine. Mnogi ispitanici očekuju da će njihove flote u budućnosti koristiti više vrsta goriva.

Na primjer, projekcije ispitanika za potrošnju goriva njihove flote u 2050. ravnomjerno su podijeljene među širokim rasponom opcija. Zeleni amonijak, biodizel i loživo ulje prednjače sa 16 do 17 posto mješavine goriva svaki, a slijede plavi amonijak, ukapljeni prirodni plin (LNG), e-metanol, biometanol, biometan i e-metan, a svaki predstavlja 6 do 10 posto udjela.

"Ovo sugerira da bi put brodarstva do dekarbonizacije mogao biti složen – posebno s obzirom na nepredvidljivu međuovisnost između vlasnika brodova i operatera, luka, proizvođača motora i dobavljača goriva. Način na koji industrija gradi i upravlja višestrukim lancima opskrbe gorivom tijekom sljedećih desetljeća imat će odlučujući učinak na brzinu dekarbonizacije", navodi se u jednom od rezultata istraživanja.

Nije iznenađenje da je jedna trećina ispitanika rekla da ne zna koje vrste goriva će koristiti njihova flota narednih 20 godina. Predviđaju da će 66 posto njihove potrošnje goriva 2030. biti loživo ulje, pri čemu će biodizel i LNG predstavljati po 10 posto, a preostalih 14 posto raspodijeljeno je na druga goriva.

Novi pomorski propisi nalažu promjenu u pogledu ekološki prihvatljivih goriva. Tu se nameće više bitnih postavki: od zakonskih, preko mogućnosti koje su dostupbe, pa preko potražnje kupaca i pritiska proizvođača...U praksi trenutno, brodarske tvrtke eksperimentiraju s nizom ekološki prihvatljivijih goriva. Ali koji kandidat će osigurati budućnost bez ugljika za sektor pomorskog prometa?

Kako bi saznali kako čelnici industrije razmišljaju o budućim gorivima, Globalni centar za pomorsku dekarbonizaciju, Globalni pomorski forum i Maersk Mc-Kinney centar za otpremu s nultom emisijom ugljika (uz analitičku podršku Mckinseyja) proveli su anketu među brodarskim tvrtkama, prenosi portal maritime-executive.com.

Anketa je uključila 29 velikih brodarskih tvrtki koje upravljaju flotama u rasponu od kontejnerskih brodova do brodova za krstarenje, brodova za rasuti teret, brodova za prijevoz plina i kruzera. Zajedno, te tvrtke čine oko 20 posto ukupnog svjetskog kapaciteta brodske flote.

Ključni zaključak iz ankete je da ispitanici očekuju svijet sa širokim rasponom goriva do 2050. godine. Mnogi ispitanici očekuju da će njihove flote u budućnosti koristiti više vrsta goriva.

Na primjer, projekcije ispitanika za potrošnju goriva njihove flote u 2050. ravnomjerno su podijeljene među širokim rasponom opcija. Zeleni amonijak, biodizel i loživo ulje prednjače sa 16 do 17 posto mješavine goriva svaki, a slijede plavi amonijak, ukapljeni prirodni plin (LNG), e-metanol, biometanol, biometan i e-metan, a svaki predstavlja 6 do 10 posto udjela.

"Ovo sugerira da bi put brodarstva do dekarbonizacije mogao biti složen – posebno s obzirom na nepredvidljivu međuovisnost između vlasnika brodova i operatera, luka, proizvođača motora i dobavljača goriva. Način na koji industrija gradi i upravlja višestrukim lancima opskrbe gorivom tijekom sljedećih desetljeća imat će odlučujući učinak na brzinu dekarbonizacije", navodi se u jednom od rezultata istraživanja.

Nije iznenađenje da je jedna trećina ispitanika rekla da ne zna koje vrste goriva će koristiti njihova flota narednih 20 godina. Predviđaju da će 66 posto njihove potrošnje goriva 2030. biti loživo ulje, pri čemu će biodizel i LNG predstavljati po 10 posto, a preostalih 14 posto raspodijeljeno je na druga goriva.

Novi pomorski propisi nalažu promjenu u pogledu ekološki prihvatljivih goriva. Tu se nameće više bitnih postavki: od zakonskih, preko mogućnosti koje su dostupbe, pa preko potražnje kupaca i pritiska proizvođača...U praksi trenutno, brodarske tvrtke eksperimentiraju s nizom ekološki prihvatljivijih goriva. Ali koji kandidat će osigurati budućnost bez ugljika za sektor pomorskog prometa?

Kako bi saznali kako čelnici industrije razmišljaju o budućim gorivima, Globalni centar za pomorsku dekarbonizaciju, Globalni pomorski forum i Maersk Mc-Kinney centar za otpremu s nultom emisijom ugljika (uz analitičku podršku Mckinseyja) proveli su anketu među brodarskim tvrtkama, prenosi portal maritime-executive.com.

Anketa je uključila 29 velikih brodarskih tvrtki koje upravljaju flotama u rasponu od kontejnerskih brodova do brodova za krstarenje, brodova za rasuti teret, brodova za prijevoz plina i kruzera. Zajedno, te tvrtke čine oko 20 posto ukupnog svjetskog kapaciteta brodske flote.

Ključni zaključak iz ankete je da ispitanici očekuju svijet sa širokim rasponom goriva do 2050. godine. Mnogi ispitanici očekuju da će njihove flote u budućnosti koristiti više vrsta goriva.

Na primjer, projekcije ispitanika za potrošnju goriva njihove flote u 2050. ravnomjerno su podijeljene među širokim rasponom opcija. Zeleni amonijak, biodizel i loživo ulje prednjače sa 16 do 17 posto mješavine goriva svaki, a slijede plavi amonijak, ukapljeni prirodni plin (LNG), e-metanol, biometanol, biometan i e-metan, a svaki predstavlja 6 do 10 posto udjela.

"Ovo sugerira da bi put brodarstva do dekarbonizacije mogao biti složen – posebno s obzirom na nepredvidljivu međuovisnost između vlasnika brodova i operatera, luka, proizvođača motora i dobavljača goriva. Način na koji industrija gradi i upravlja višestrukim lancima opskrbe gorivom tijekom sljedećih desetljeća imat će odlučujući učinak na brzinu dekarbonizacije", navodi se u jednom od rezultata istraživanja.

Nije iznenađenje da je jedna trećina ispitanika rekla da ne zna koje vrste goriva će koristiti njihova flota narednih 20 godina. Predviđaju da će 66 posto njihove potrošnje goriva 2030. biti loživo ulje, pri čemu će biodizel i LNG predstavljati po 10 posto, a preostalih 14 posto raspodijeljeno je na druga goriva.
