Japanski dužnosnici priznali su da su da im je teško utvrditi zašto je stotine tona ribe zatrpalo njihovu obalu posljednjih dana. Procjenjuje se da je početkom mjeseca oko 1200 tona sardina i skuša pronađeno kako plutaju na površini mora u blizini ribarske luke Hakodate na otoku Hokkaido. Pritom su kreirali srebrni pokrivač koji se protezao više od jednog kilometra, prenosi Guardian.

U srijedu su se dužnosnici u Nakiriju, japanskom gradu udaljenom stotinama kilometara južno od Hokkaida, ugledali između 30 i 40 tona japanskih ljuskastih sardina, ili sappa, koje su uočene u tom području nekoliko dana ranije. Lokalni ribari namučili su se kako bi uklonili ribu s obale u strahu da bi lešine mogle smanjiti količinu kisika u vodi dok se raspadaju i naštetiti morskom okolišu. "Nikad prije nisam vidio ovako nešto", rekao je za list Mainichi Shimbun ribar koji u tom području radi 25 godina. “Tek prošle godine počeli smo loviti sappu u Nakiriju. Pitam se da li možda dolazi do promjena u morskom ekosustavu.”

Stručnjaci su nagađali da su se ribe selice u oba područja nasukale nakon što su ih do iznemoglosti progonili gofovi i druge grabežljive ribe. Masovni pomor ribe također se može dogoditi kada dođe do naglog pada temperature vode, što uzrokuje šok kod riba, dodali su.

Nitko, međutim, nije uspio potvrditi uzrok. "Uzrok je trenutno nepoznat", rekao je za list Mikine Fujiwara, lokalni dužnosnik za ribarstvo. "Planiramo uzorkovati morsku vodu na licu mjesta i ispitati je kako bismo otkrili uzrok."

Dužnosnici japanske vlade kritizirali su izvještaj u britanskim novinama Daily Mail koji je povezivao fenomen masovnog pomora s ispuštanjem pročišćene vode iz nuklearne elektrane Fukushima Daiichi.

U izvješću se navodi da su se ribe na obali pojavile gotovo četiri mjeseca nakon što je postrojenje počelo ispuštati vodu – koja sadrži male količine radioaktivnog izotopa tricija – u Pacifik.

Međunarodna agencija za atomsku energiju odobrila je plan, navodeći u sigurnosnoj procjeni da bi ispuštanje vode imalo “neznatan radiološki utjecaj na ljude i okoliš”.

"Zabrinuti smo zbog neutemeljenih informacija", rekao je dužnosnik japanske agencije za ribarstvo za Asahi Shimbun.

Fotografije pomora ribe naširoko se dijele na društvenim mrežama – a mnoge popraćene teorijama zavjere o Fukushimi.

Ribarske zadruge u Fukushimi upozorile su da će ispuštanje nanijeti daljnju štetu ugledu njihove morske hrane.

Gradski dužnosnici u Hakodateu pozvali su lokalno stanovništvo da ne konzumira ribu pronađenu na plaži nakon izvješća da su neki skupljali ribu za prodaju ili jelo.

Japanski dužnosnici priznali su da su da im je teško utvrditi zašto je stotine tona ribe zatrpalo njihovu obalu posljednjih dana. Procjenjuje se da je početkom mjeseca oko 1200 tona sardina i skuša pronađeno kako plutaju na površini mora u blizini ribarske luke Hakodate na otoku Hokkaido. Pritom su kreirali srebrni pokrivač koji se protezao više od jednog kilometra, prenosi Guardian.

U srijedu su se dužnosnici u Nakiriju, japanskom gradu udaljenom stotinama kilometara južno od Hokkaida, ugledali između 30 i 40 tona japanskih ljuskastih sardina, ili sappa, koje su uočene u tom području nekoliko dana ranije. Lokalni ribari namučili su se kako bi uklonili ribu s obale u strahu da bi lešine mogle smanjiti količinu kisika u vodi dok se raspadaju i naštetiti morskom okolišu. "Nikad prije nisam vidio ovako nešto", rekao je za list Mainichi Shimbun ribar koji u tom području radi 25 godina. “Tek prošle godine počeli smo loviti sappu u Nakiriju. Pitam se da li možda dolazi do promjena u morskom ekosustavu.”

Stručnjaci su nagađali da su se ribe selice u oba područja nasukale nakon što su ih do iznemoglosti progonili gofovi i druge grabežljive ribe. Masovni pomor ribe također se može dogoditi kada dođe do naglog pada temperature vode, što uzrokuje šok kod riba, dodali su.

Nitko, međutim, nije uspio potvrditi uzrok. "Uzrok je trenutno nepoznat", rekao je za list Mikine Fujiwara, lokalni dužnosnik za ribarstvo. "Planiramo uzorkovati morsku vodu na licu mjesta i ispitati je kako bismo otkrili uzrok."

Dužnosnici japanske vlade kritizirali su izvještaj u britanskim novinama Daily Mail koji je povezivao fenomen masovnog pomora s ispuštanjem pročišćene vode iz nuklearne elektrane Fukushima Daiichi.

U izvješću se navodi da su se ribe na obali pojavile gotovo četiri mjeseca nakon što je postrojenje počelo ispuštati vodu – koja sadrži male količine radioaktivnog izotopa tricija – u Pacifik.

Međunarodna agencija za atomsku energiju odobrila je plan, navodeći u sigurnosnoj procjeni da bi ispuštanje vode imalo “neznatan radiološki utjecaj na ljude i okoliš”.

"Zabrinuti smo zbog neutemeljenih informacija", rekao je dužnosnik japanske agencije za ribarstvo za Asahi Shimbun.

Fotografije pomora ribe naširoko se dijele na društvenim mrežama – a mnoge popraćene teorijama zavjere o Fukushimi.

Ribarske zadruge u Fukushimi upozorile su da će ispuštanje nanijeti daljnju štetu ugledu njihove morske hrane.

Gradski dužnosnici u Hakodateu pozvali su lokalno stanovništvo da ne konzumira ribu pronađenu na plaži nakon izvješća da su neki skupljali ribu za prodaju ili jelo.
