Proteklih dana između Šibenika i Martinske usidren je čuveni jedrenjak "Black pearl", 107 metara duga ljepotica koja slovi za najveći jedrenjak na svijetu, čija se vrijednost procjenjuje na 200 milijuna dolara. Prethodno je snimljena kraj Silbe.
Kako piše Jutarnji list, sjajan je primjer elegancije, ekstravagancije i vizionarstva, ali iza sebe ima i dugu te vrlo kontroverznu povijest, te još kontroverznijeg vlasnika, pokojnog ruskog oligarha Olega Leonideviča Burlakova, koji je 2021. preminuo od posljedica koronavirusa.
Opremljena je s tri glavna jedra te ima oko 2.900 kvadratnih metara površine. No, ta su jedra potpuno drugačija, a naručio ih je sam Burlakov. Jedra su, naime, kao i čitava jahta, u procesu gradnje poznata kao "Project Solar". Sustav se zove DynaRih i ovo je najveći brod na svijetu koji ga koristi.

Brod je od čelične oplate uz dodatak aluminija i karbonskih vlakana, a cilj graditelja bio je da to bude jahta koja će preploviti cijeli Atlantik uz samo dvadeset litara goriva. Dodatna tehnologija je što je brod ujedno i solarna i hidroelektrana, jer se brzina ‘Crnog bisera‘ koristi također za generiranje energije, a baterije su takve da se iz solarnih panela skladišti energija koja ne mora odmah biti potrošena. Jahta tako koristi tri obnovljiva izvora energije - turbine propela, pokretane vjetrom, te solare.
Dizajn oligarhovog superjedrenjaka počeo je u srpnju 2010. Bilo je potrebno uzeti stručnjake iz sedam brodogradilišta diljem svijeta kako bi se projekt dovršio. Do 2011. dizajneri su uspjeli "navući" veličinu broda sa 96 na 100 metara i prototip je nacrtan, a sada je trebalo pronaći graditelje, pa se ekipa odlučila za nizozemsku kompaniju Oceanco.

Prema dostupnim informacijama, Burlakov je bio fasciniran svojom jahtom te je u svakom trenutku htio biti uključen u proces dizajna i gradnje, odnosno, svaki je korak pomno nadgledao, a finalni dizajn završio je na 106.8 metara dužine, dok su jarboli visoki čak 70 metara zbog čega brod u idealnim vremenskim uvjetima može postići i brzinu od nevjerojatnih 30 čvorova. Unatoč svojoj impozantnoj veličini, vidi se da je jahta predviđena samo za elitu, jer ima samo pet kabina za ukupno 12 gostiju. No, zato ima jacuzzije, bazene, kino, noćni klub.
Ključni dizajneri bili su Ken Freivokh, Gerard Villate, Nigel Gee, i Nuvolari Lenard, uz vojsku brodograditelja. Jahta je dobitnica više nagrada na svjetskim nautičkim događajima.

Proteklih dana između Šibenika i Martinske usidren je čuveni jedrenjak "Black pearl", 107 metara duga ljepotica koja slovi za najveći jedrenjak na svijetu, čija se vrijednost procjenjuje na 200 milijuna dolara. Prethodno je snimljena kraj Silbe.
Kako piše Jutarnji list, sjajan je primjer elegancije, ekstravagancije i vizionarstva, ali iza sebe ima i dugu te vrlo kontroverznu povijest, te još kontroverznijeg vlasnika, pokojnog ruskog oligarha Olega Leonideviča Burlakova, koji je 2021. preminuo od posljedica koronavirusa.
Opremljena je s tri glavna jedra te ima oko 2.900 kvadratnih metara površine. No, ta su jedra potpuno drugačija, a naručio ih je sam Burlakov. Jedra su, naime, kao i čitava jahta, u procesu gradnje poznata kao "Project Solar". Sustav se zove DynaRih i ovo je najveći brod na svijetu koji ga koristi.

Brod je od čelične oplate uz dodatak aluminija i karbonskih vlakana, a cilj graditelja bio je da to bude jahta koja će preploviti cijeli Atlantik uz samo dvadeset litara goriva. Dodatna tehnologija je što je brod ujedno i solarna i hidroelektrana, jer se brzina ‘Crnog bisera‘ koristi također za generiranje energije, a baterije su takve da se iz solarnih panela skladišti energija koja ne mora odmah biti potrošena. Jahta tako koristi tri obnovljiva izvora energije - turbine propela, pokretane vjetrom, te solare.
Dizajn oligarhovog superjedrenjaka počeo je u srpnju 2010. Bilo je potrebno uzeti stručnjake iz sedam brodogradilišta diljem svijeta kako bi se projekt dovršio. Do 2011. dizajneri su uspjeli "navući" veličinu broda sa 96 na 100 metara i prototip je nacrtan, a sada je trebalo pronaći graditelje, pa se ekipa odlučila za nizozemsku kompaniju Oceanco.

Prema dostupnim informacijama, Burlakov je bio fasciniran svojom jahtom te je u svakom trenutku htio biti uključen u proces dizajna i gradnje, odnosno, svaki je korak pomno nadgledao, a finalni dizajn završio je na 106.8 metara dužine, dok su jarboli visoki čak 70 metara zbog čega brod u idealnim vremenskim uvjetima može postići i brzinu od nevjerojatnih 30 čvorova. Unatoč svojoj impozantnoj veličini, vidi se da je jahta predviđena samo za elitu, jer ima samo pet kabina za ukupno 12 gostiju. No, zato ima jacuzzije, bazene, kino, noćni klub.
Ključni dizajneri bili su Ken Freivokh, Gerard Villate, Nigel Gee, i Nuvolari Lenard, uz vojsku brodograditelja. Jahta je dobitnica više nagrada na svjetskim nautičkim događajima.
