Model DREAM jedan je od prvih operativnih modela namijenjenih prognozi širenja pustinjskog aerosola, s naglaskom na primjenu modela za modeliranje utjecaja pustinjskog aerosola na procese u moru. Da bude jasnije, morski organski aerosol utječe na formiranje atmosferskog leda i oborina koje posredno utječu i na stanje oceana.

O ovom tematici pričat će dr. sc. Slobodan Ničković - s Republičkog hidrometeorološkog zavoda u Beogradu koji će u petak 5. svibnja 2023., s početkom u 13.15 sati održati stručno predavanja na splitskom Prirodoslovno-matematičkom fakultetu (učionica B3-47), a moći će se pratiti i on-line putem poveznice: https://meet.google.com/npy-fqsj-wuy

Pustinjski aerosol (kolokvijalno - dust, odnosno pijesak) je jedan od najzastupljenijih aerosola u atmosferi. Pijesak čine sitne čestice različitih veličina, mineralnog sastava i oblika. Veličine se kreću od submikronskih do nekoliko desetina mikrona u promjeru. Porijeklo prašine su gole površine podložne eroziji vjetrom, gdje svojstva površine (npr. vegetacijski pokrivač, rastresitost zemljišta) određuju intenzitet emisije pod utjecajem površinskih atmosferskih uvjeta (npr. vlažnost tla, površinska brzina vjetra). Emitirane čestice prašine pod utjecajem turbulencije i vjetra u slobodnoj atmosferi mogu se prenijeti na velike udaljenosti (čak i do nekoliko tisuća kilometara). Završna faza atmosferskog ciklusa pijeska je taloženje čestica na tlo oborinama ili gravitacijom. Brojni su oblici utjecaja pijeska na prirodnu sredinu i ljude, uključujući utjecaj na more, klimu i vrijeme, promet, industriju i zdravlje.

Ovo predavanje uključuje opis numeričkog modela za atmosferski pijesak (DREAM - Dust Regional Atmospheric Model)m kao jedan od prvih modela primijenjenih za operativnu prognozu širenja pijeska.

U predavanju se nadalje opisuju parametrizacije za simuliranje procesa porasta topljivosti oksida željeza prisutnog u česticama pijeska pod utjecajem sunčeve radijacije, naoblake i zagađenja zraka. Čestice pijeska s otopljenim Fe koje se deponiraju u ocean su ključan nutrijent za primarnu proizvodnju. Predložena metoda uzima u obzir Fe minerologiju zemljišta u izvorima pustinjskog aerosola. Rezultati modela su uspoređeni s mjerenjima u središnjem Atlantiku.

Model DREAM jedan je od prvih operativnih modela namijenjenih prognozi širenja pustinjskog aerosola, s naglaskom na primjenu modela za modeliranje utjecaja pustinjskog aerosola na procese u moru. Da bude jasnije, morski organski aerosol utječe na formiranje atmosferskog leda i oborina koje posredno utječu i na stanje oceana.

O ovom tematici pričat će dr. sc. Slobodan Ničković - s Republičkog hidrometeorološkog zavoda u Beogradu koji će u petak 5. svibnja 2023., s početkom u 13.15 sati održati stručno predavanja na splitskom Prirodoslovno-matematičkom fakultetu (učionica B3-47), a moći će se pratiti i on-line putem poveznice: https://meet.google.com/npy-fqsj-wuy

Pustinjski aerosol (kolokvijalno - dust, odnosno pijesak) je jedan od najzastupljenijih aerosola u atmosferi. Pijesak čine sitne čestice različitih veličina, mineralnog sastava i oblika. Veličine se kreću od submikronskih do nekoliko desetina mikrona u promjeru. Porijeklo prašine su gole površine podložne eroziji vjetrom, gdje svojstva površine (npr. vegetacijski pokrivač, rastresitost zemljišta) određuju intenzitet emisije pod utjecajem površinskih atmosferskih uvjeta (npr. vlažnost tla, površinska brzina vjetra). Emitirane čestice prašine pod utjecajem turbulencije i vjetra u slobodnoj atmosferi mogu se prenijeti na velike udaljenosti (čak i do nekoliko tisuća kilometara). Završna faza atmosferskog ciklusa pijeska je taloženje čestica na tlo oborinama ili gravitacijom. Brojni su oblici utjecaja pijeska na prirodnu sredinu i ljude, uključujući utjecaj na more, klimu i vrijeme, promet, industriju i zdravlje.

Ovo predavanje uključuje opis numeričkog modela za atmosferski pijesak (DREAM - Dust Regional Atmospheric Model)m kao jedan od prvih modela primijenjenih za operativnu prognozu širenja pijeska.

U predavanju se nadalje opisuju parametrizacije za simuliranje procesa porasta topljivosti oksida željeza prisutnog u česticama pijeska pod utjecajem sunčeve radijacije, naoblake i zagađenja zraka. Čestice pijeska s otopljenim Fe koje se deponiraju u ocean su ključan nutrijent za primarnu proizvodnju. Predložena metoda uzima u obzir Fe minerologiju zemljišta u izvorima pustinjskog aerosola. Rezultati modela su uspoređeni s mjerenjima u središnjem Atlantiku.

Model DREAMKako aerosol utječe na stanje oceana? Poslušajte zanimljivo predavanje beogradskog stručnjaka

Model DREAM jedan je od prvih operativnih modela namijenjenih prognozi širenja pustinjskog aerosola, s naglaskom na primjenu modela za modeliranje utjecaja pustinjskog aerosola na procese u moru. Da bude jasnije, morski organski aerosol utječe na formiranje atmosferskog leda i oborina koje posredno utječu i na stanje oceana.

O ovom tematici pričat će dr. sc. Slobodan Ničković - s Republičkog hidrometeorološkog zavoda u Beogradu koji će u petak 5. svibnja 2023., s početkom u 13.15 sati održati stručno predavanja na splitskom Prirodoslovno-matematičkom fakultetu (učionica B3-47), a moći će se pratiti i on-line putem poveznice: https://meet.google.com/npy-fqsj-wuy

Pustinjski aerosol (kolokvijalno - dust, odnosno pijesak) je jedan od najzastupljenijih aerosola u atmosferi. Pijesak čine sitne čestice različitih veličina, mineralnog sastava i oblika. Veličine se kreću od submikronskih do nekoliko desetina mikrona u promjeru. Porijeklo prašine su gole površine podložne eroziji vjetrom, gdje svojstva površine (npr. vegetacijski pokrivač, rastresitost zemljišta) određuju intenzitet emisije pod utjecajem površinskih atmosferskih uvjeta (npr. vlažnost tla, površinska brzina vjetra). Emitirane čestice prašine pod utjecajem turbulencije i vjetra u slobodnoj atmosferi mogu se prenijeti na velike udaljenosti (čak i do nekoliko tisuća kilometara). Završna faza atmosferskog ciklusa pijeska je taloženje čestica na tlo oborinama ili gravitacijom. Brojni su oblici utjecaja pijeska na prirodnu sredinu i ljude, uključujući utjecaj na more, klimu i vrijeme, promet, industriju i zdravlje.

Ovo predavanje uključuje opis numeričkog modela za atmosferski pijesak (DREAM - Dust Regional Atmospheric Model)m kao jedan od prvih modela primijenjenih za operativnu prognozu širenja pijeska.

U predavanju se nadalje opisuju parametrizacije za simuliranje procesa porasta topljivosti oksida željeza prisutnog u česticama pijeska pod utjecajem sunčeve radijacije, naoblake i zagađenja zraka. Čestice pijeska s otopljenim Fe koje se deponiraju u ocean su ključan nutrijent za primarnu proizvodnju. Predložena metoda uzima u obzir Fe minerologiju zemljišta u izvorima pustinjskog aerosola. Rezultati modela su uspoređeni s mjerenjima u središnjem Atlantiku.
