Japanska obalna straža objavila je u ponedjeljak da je japanski otočni arhipelag, koji ukupno broji preko 6000 većih i manjih otočića, dobio "prinovu", piše Japan Times.

Otok u obliku slova "C" nastao erupcijom podvodnog vulkana otkriven je 1200 kilometara južno od Tokija, a dužina novog otoka je otprilike kilometar.

Tamošnja meteorološka agencija izdala je upozorenja s obzirom na potencijalnu aktivnost vulkana, budući da se još uvijek očekuju erupcije i izbacivanja vulkanske prašine, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Ovakav nastanak novih otočića nije neobičan za Japan, zemlju povećane vulkanske aktivnosti. Na sličan način su već nastajali novi otoci 1904., 1914., te 1986. godine, međutim, ubrzo bi potonuli s obzirom na udare valova i jake morske struje.

Postoji mogućnost da će i ovaj otočić doživjeti sličnu sudbinu, ali to će ovisiti o sastavnom materijalu novog otoka. Ako su njegove sastavnice prašina i drugi vulkanski fragmenti, teško je očekivati da će izdržati valove, dok bi kontinuirana vulkanska aktivnost mogla proizvesti lavu koja stvara otporniji prekriv.

Godine 2013. su tjedni pojačane vulkanske aktivnosti proizveli otok koji se spojio s postojećim Nishinoshimom te stvorio masu koju su japanski znanstvenici prozvali Snoopy jer je novostvorena masa nalikovala na psića iz kultnog stripa.

Japanska obalna straža objavila je u ponedjeljak da je japanski otočni arhipelag, koji ukupno broji preko 6000 većih i manjih otočića, dobio "prinovu", piše Japan Times.

Otok u obliku slova "C" nastao erupcijom podvodnog vulkana otkriven je 1200 kilometara južno od Tokija, a dužina novog otoka je otprilike kilometar.

Tamošnja meteorološka agencija izdala je upozorenja s obzirom na potencijalnu aktivnost vulkana, budući da se još uvijek očekuju erupcije i izbacivanja vulkanske prašine, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Ovakav nastanak novih otočića nije neobičan za Japan, zemlju povećane vulkanske aktivnosti. Na sličan način su već nastajali novi otoci 1904., 1914., te 1986. godine, međutim, ubrzo bi potonuli s obzirom na udare valova i jake morske struje.

Postoji mogućnost da će i ovaj otočić doživjeti sličnu sudbinu, ali to će ovisiti o sastavnom materijalu novog otoka. Ako su njegove sastavnice prašina i drugi vulkanski fragmenti, teško je očekivati da će izdržati valove, dok bi kontinuirana vulkanska aktivnost mogla proizvesti lavu koja stvara otporniji prekriv.

Godine 2013. su tjedni pojačane vulkanske aktivnosti proizveli otok koji se spojio s postojećim Nishinoshimom te stvorio masu koju su japanski znanstvenici prozvali Snoopy jer je novostvorena masa nalikovala na psića iz kultnog stripa.

Japanska obalna straža objavila je u ponedjeljak da je japanski otočni arhipelag, koji ukupno broji preko 6000 većih i manjih otočića, dobio "prinovu", piše Japan Times.

Otok u obliku slova "C" nastao erupcijom podvodnog vulkana otkriven je 1200 kilometara južno od Tokija, a dužina novog otoka je otprilike kilometar.

Tamošnja meteorološka agencija izdala je upozorenja s obzirom na potencijalnu aktivnost vulkana, budući da se još uvijek očekuju erupcije i izbacivanja vulkanske prašine, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Ovakav nastanak novih otočića nije neobičan za Japan, zemlju povećane vulkanske aktivnosti. Na sličan način su već nastajali novi otoci 1904., 1914., te 1986. godine, međutim, ubrzo bi potonuli s obzirom na udare valova i jake morske struje.

Postoji mogućnost da će i ovaj otočić doživjeti sličnu sudbinu, ali to će ovisiti o sastavnom materijalu novog otoka. Ako su njegove sastavnice prašina i drugi vulkanski fragmenti, teško je očekivati da će izdržati valove, dok bi kontinuirana vulkanska aktivnost mogla proizvesti lavu koja stvara otporniji prekriv.

Godine 2013. su tjedni pojačane vulkanske aktivnosti proizveli otok koji se spojio s postojećim Nishinoshimom te stvorio masu koju su japanski znanstvenici prozvali Snoopy jer je novostvorena masa nalikovala na psića iz kultnog stripa.
