Karting ili vožnja jednim od onih minijaturnih vlakića kroz park nešto je što nikad ne prerastemo. Međutim, kao odrasli ljudi, s više novca na raspolaganju, imamo pristup širem izboru vozila ili plovila, kao što su (pravi) automobili, a ako imamo još i više novca, tu su avioni ili brodovi.

Obe obrazovne ustanove koriste plovila u mjerilu 1:25 – tankere, brodove za krstarenje i kontejnerske brodove – s balastom težine oko pet tona kako bi simulirali masu stvarnog broda.

Njihovi motori i upravljački mehanizmi napravljeni su vrlo realistično, "tromo", kako bi simulirali stvarne uvjete na moru, a maksimalna brzina im je oko tri čvora (tempo brzog hoda prosječnog čovjeka).

U francuskom Port Revelu svaka pojedina vrsta broda ima svoje specijalizirane tečajeve, koji uključuju situacije kao što su pristajanje, korištenje sidra, suradnja s remorkerima na daljinsko upravljanje, pa čak i suočavanje s kvarom sustava za upravljanje...

Karting ili vožnja jednim od onih minijaturnih vlakića kroz park nešto je što nikad ne prerastemo. Međutim, kao odrasli ljudi, s više novca na raspolaganju, imamo pristup širem izboru vozila ili plovila, kao što su (pravi) automobili, a ako imamo još i više novca, tu su avioni ili brodovi.

Obe obrazovne ustanove koriste plovila u mjerilu 1:25 – tankere, brodove za krstarenje i kontejnerske brodove – s balastom težine oko pet tona kako bi simulirali masu stvarnog broda.

Njihovi motori i upravljački mehanizmi napravljeni su vrlo realistično, "tromo", kako bi simulirali stvarne uvjete na moru, a maksimalna brzina im je oko tri čvora (tempo brzog hoda prosječnog čovjeka).
