Brod na električni pogon američke tvrtke Vision Marine postigao je brzinu od 94,7 čvorova! Novi svjetski rekord je zabilježen na jezeru Ozark u saveznoj državi Missouri.

Partneri u obaranju rekorda iz Hellkat Powerboats složili su katamaranski trup dužine deset metara posebno prilagođen smještaju teškog baterijskog sklopa.

Nisu poznate pojedinosti oko baterije, no otkriven je podatak kako radi na naponu od 700 volta.

Brod na električni pogon američke tvrtke Vision Marine postigao je brzinu od 94,7 čvorova! Novi svjetski rekord je zabilježen na jezeru Ozark u saveznoj državi Missouri.

Tvrtka specijalizirana za proizvodnju, prodaju i iznajmljivanje električnih brodova istovremeno razvija najsnažniji električni motor E-Motion koji će se moći ugraditi na krme većine standardnih plovila.

Partneri u obaranju rekorda iz Hellkat Powerboats složili su katamaranski trup dužine deset metara posebno prilagođen smještaju teškog baterijskog sklopa.

Nisu poznate pojedinosti oko baterije, no otkriven je podatak kako radi na naponu od 700 volta.

Ovaj brod je poslužio u marketinške svrhe, a glavni cilj je pronalazak kupaca pente oznake E180 koja će se navodno moći ugraditi na sve standardne brodove. Prvi će biti Four Winns H2 OB Runabout grupacije Beneteau što bi mogla biti prekretnica u maloj brodogradnji.
