Lov plovkom bologneze štapom, sve popularniji na našoj obali, najlakše je obavljati sjedenjem u stolici, posebno pravljenoj za tu tehniku udičarenja. Poput ove na slici, Akami Panchetto XTR, ta stolica mora imati četiri noge koje se mogu pojedinačno podešavati po visini, kako bi joj gornja ploha uvijek mogla biti u horizontali. Osim toga, stolica mora biti u obliku kutije, u koju se može odložiti sav pribor potreban za ovu tehniku lova. Također, na stolici mora biti i držač štapa te remen za nošenje.
