Za sve one kojima je važna preciznost plovidbe, što osobito važi za ribare i ribolovce kada se vraćaju do pozicija na kojima su ostavili svoje alate, poznata tvrtka Garmin dizajnirala je mali uređaj nazvan SteadyCast. Riječ je o senzoru smjera koji se lako montira i brzo kalibrira, te unatoč jednostavnosti osigurava vrhunsku točnost plovidbe.

Kada se aktivira, SteadyCast poravnava pramac plovila kako bi njegova orijentacija na ploteru odgovarala smjeru kretanja, pa ćete gledajući zaslon plotera precizno znati gdje ste bacili mreže ili spustili parangal s mamcima. MEMS tehnologija s devet osi omogućuje montiranje uređaja u bilo kojem položaju i na bilo kojem mjestu koje je dovoljno udaljeno od izvora magnetske interferencije, s tim da je napravljen tako da može uspješno obavljati svoju funkciju i na najnižim dijelovima plovila.

Točnost smjera bit će određivana u rasponu plus ili minus tri stupnja. Jednostavno NMEA 2000® sučelje omogućava, pak, lako aktiviranje senzora po principu uključi i radi, nakon čega slijedi također jednostavan proces precizne kalibracije u dva koraka za kompatibilne Garmin plotere.

Uz izlaznu snagu od 10 Hz i iznimnu točnost uređaja, orijentacija karte i linija smjera plovila podudarat će se sa stvarnim kretanjem čak i pri velikim brzinama, na uzburkanom moru, ali i kada plutate. Dimenzije senzora su 86,3 x 52,9 x 33,7 mm (D x Š x V), a stupanj vodootpornosti je IPX7.

Za sve one kojima je važna preciznost plovidbe, što osobito važi za ribare i ribolovce kada se vraćaju do pozicija na kojima su ostavili svoje alate, poznata tvrtka Garmin dizajnirala je mali uređaj nazvan SteadyCast. Riječ je o senzoru smjera koji se lako montira i brzo kalibrira, te unatoč jednostavnosti osigurava vrhunsku točnost plovidbe.

Kada se aktivira, SteadyCast poravnava pramac plovila kako bi njegova orijentacija na ploteru odgovarala smjeru kretanja, pa ćete gledajući zaslon plotera precizno znati gdje ste bacili mreže ili spustili parangal s mamcima. MEMS tehnologija s devet osi omogućuje montiranje uređaja u bilo kojem položaju i na bilo kojem mjestu koje je dovoljno udaljeno od izvora magnetske interferencije, s tim da je napravljen tako da može uspješno obavljati svoju funkciju i na najnižim dijelovima plovila.

Točnost smjera bit će određivana u rasponu plus ili minus tri stupnja. Jednostavno NMEA 2000® sučelje omogućava, pak, lako aktiviranje senzora po principu uključi i radi, nakon čega slijedi također jednostavan proces precizne kalibracije u dva koraka za kompatibilne Garmin plotere.

Uz izlaznu snagu od 10 Hz i iznimnu točnost uređaja, orijentacija karte i linija smjera plovila podudarat će se sa stvarnim kretanjem čak i pri velikim brzinama, na uzburkanom moru, ali i kada plutate. Dimenzije senzora su 86,3 x 52,9 x 33,7 mm (D x Š x V), a stupanj vodootpornosti je IPX7.
