Povjesničar umjetnosti, Ivan Viđen, podsjeća na jednu važnu obljetnicu za kulturni život grada:

Naime, na današnji dan prije točno stotinu godina, 16. svibnja 1923. godine, otvorena je prva izložba u novom atelijeru Flore Jakšić rođ. Marinović (1856.-1943.) u lapadskoj uvali Sumartin. Zgrada "Florin dom" izgrađena je prema stručnim savjetima Florina prijatelja Vlaha Bukovca, a autorstvo nacrta pripisuje se češkim arhitektima Aloisu Zimi i Jiriju Stibralu s kojima je Bukovac surađivao.

Uz cavtatski atelijer Vlaha Bukovca izgrađen uz njegovu roditeljsku kuću u Cavtatu 1900. godine "Florin dom" je prvi takve vrste sagrađen objekt u Dubrovniku.

Zahvaljujući djelovanju Flore Jakšić i kruga ljudi koje je poznavala "Florin dom" je odmah postao središte umjetničkog života Lapada i Dubrovnika. Budući da je željela da se ondje trajno održava duh kulture oporučno je svoj atelrijer ostavila umjetnicima da u njemu rade i priređuju samostalne i skupne izložbe.

Zgradom "Florina doma" već skoro sedam desetljeća upravljaju članovi Hrvatskoga društva likovnih umjetnika Dubrovnik koji su kroz godine u izložbenom prostoru ostvarili velik broj programa (izložbi, predavanja, radionica, tribina, itd.) pokazavši kako je plemenita ideja Flore Jakšić do danas aktualna.

Inače, 11. svibnja navršilo se točno 80 godina od slikaričine smrti.

Povjesničar umjetnosti, Ivan Viđen, podsjeća na jednu važnu obljetnicu za kulturni život grada:

Naime, na današnji dan prije točno stotinu godina, 16. svibnja 1923. godine, otvorena je prva izložba u novom atelijeru Flore Jakšić rođ. Marinović (1856.-1943.) u lapadskoj uvali Sumartin. Zgrada "Florin dom" izgrađena je prema stručnim savjetima Florina prijatelja Vlaha Bukovca, a autorstvo nacrta pripisuje se češkim arhitektima Aloisu Zimi i Jiriju Stibralu s kojima je Bukovac surađivao.

Uz cavtatski atelijer Vlaha Bukovca izgrađen uz njegovu roditeljsku kuću u Cavtatu 1900. godine "Florin dom" je prvi takve vrste sagrađen objekt u Dubrovniku.

Zahvaljujući djelovanju Flore Jakšić i kruga ljudi koje je poznavala "Florin dom" je odmah postao središte umjetničkog života Lapada i Dubrovnika. Budući da je željela da se ondje trajno održava duh kulture oporučno je svoj atelrijer ostavila umjetnicima da u njemu rade i priređuju samostalne i skupne izložbe.

Zgradom "Florina doma" već skoro sedam desetljeća upravljaju članovi Hrvatskoga društva likovnih umjetnika Dubrovnik koji su kroz godine u izložbenom prostoru ostvarili velik broj programa (izložbi, predavanja, radionica, tribina, itd.) pokazavši kako je plemenita ideja Flore Jakšić do danas aktualna.

Inače, 11. svibnja navršilo se točno 80 godina od slikaričine smrti.

Središte umjetničkog života u Lapadu: Na današnji dan prije točno 100 godina otvorena je prva izložba u Florinom domu

Povjesničar umjetnosti, Ivan Viđen, podsjeća na jednu važnu obljetnicu za kulturni život grada:

Naime, na današnji dan prije točno stotinu godina, 16. svibnja 1923. godine, otvorena je prva izložba u novom atelijeru Flore Jakšić rođ. Marinović (1856.-1943.) u lapadskoj uvali Sumartin. Zgrada "Florin dom" izgrađena je prema stručnim savjetima Florina prijatelja Vlaha Bukovca, a autorstvo nacrta pripisuje se češkim arhitektima Aloisu Zimi i Jiriju Stibralu s kojima je Bukovac surađivao.

Uz cavtatski atelijer Vlaha Bukovca izgrađen uz njegovu roditeljsku kuću u Cavtatu 1900. godine "Florin dom" je prvi takve vrste sagrađen objekt u Dubrovniku.

Zahvaljujući djelovanju Flore Jakšić i kruga ljudi koje je poznavala "Florin dom" je odmah postao središte umjetničkog života Lapada i Dubrovnika. Budući da je željela da se ondje trajno održava duh kulture oporučno je svoj atelrijer ostavila umjetnicima da u njemu rade i priređuju samostalne i skupne izložbe.
