Zadarski mir naziv je za mirovni ugovor koji je sklopljen 18. veljače 1358. godine između Mletačke Republike i ugarsko-hrvatskog kralja Ludovika I. Anžuvinca, kojim se Mletačka Republika morala odreći svojih posjeda u Dalmaciji.
Zadarskim mirom prvi je put nakon kralja Zvonimira hrvatska obala sa svim svojim otocima bila oslobođena od mletačke vlasti te je Dalmacija sljedećih pola stoljeća bila dio Hrvatsko-Ugarskog Kraljevstva. Zadar je od početka XII. stoljeća, uz kraće prekide, bio pod mletačkom vlašću i za Mlečane je, u odnosu na ostalo područje Dalmacije, bio od strateške važnosti za odvijanje trgovine. S druge strane, hrvatsko-ugarski kralj Ludovik I. Anžuvinac nije mogao obnoviti hrvatsku vlast nad Dalmacijom bez Zadra. Njegov prvi pokušaj osvajanja ovog grada 1345.–1346. bio je neuspješan i kralj je bio prisiljen sklopiti primirje s Venecijom.
Tijekom osmogodišnjeg primirja Ludovik je ojačao svoju vlast i 1356. opet je zaratio s Mlečanima, stigavši tada čak do Trevisa. Potaknuti Ludovikovim uspjesima, hrvatski knezovi u Dalmaciji pružili su mu pomoć, što je 1357. dovelo do istjerivanja Mlečana iz Splita i Trogira, a nakon toga i iz ostalih dalmatinskih gradova, Šibenika, Brača, Hvara, Dubrovnika i Korčule. Zadar je bio oslobođen 17. prosinca 1357., kada je kraljevska vojska, s pomoću konopa koje su Zadrani prebacili preko zidina, ušla u grad i istjerala Mlečane.
Potpuno poraženi Mlečani su bili prisiljeni sklopiti mir. Ipak, nisu se tek tako htjeli odreći Zadra. U prednacrtu Zadarskog mira Mlečani su Ludoviku ponudili cijelu Dalmaciju osim Zadra, a navedeno su pokušali ostvariti preko pape i cijele tadašnje političke Europe. Međutim, Ludovik nije pokleknuo. Upravo suprotno, pod uvjetima koje je u cijelosti on određivao, u sakristiji samostana sv. Frane u Zadru, sklopljen je, 18. veljače 1358., Zadarski mir. Njime su se Mlečani odrekli »prava na Dalmaciju od polovice Kvarnera do područja Drača«,uključujući gradove Nin, Zadar, Skradin, Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Dubrovnik te otoke Osor, Cres, Krk, Rab, Pag, Brač, Hvar i Korčulu. Mletački dužd morao se odreći naslova »dux Dalmatiae et Croatiae«, a Mlečani su morali napustiti Dalmaciju u roku 22 dana. Ludovik se, zauzvrat, odrekao područja oko Trevisa, Cividalea (Čedad) i u Istri, koja je osvojio 1356. Bilo je ugovoreno da obje strane oslobode zarobljenike te da se obnovi slobodno kretanje stanovnika obiju država.
Tijek pregovora, sklapanje i realizacija mira izraženo je u osam isprava: prva je Isprava iz 1357. o dogovaranju mira između mletačkih i ugarskih poslanika. Nakon nje dolaze Isprava Zadarskog mira između ugarsko-hrvatskoga kralja Ludovika I. Velikog i Venecije, Ludovikova Isprava o proglašenju da se isprava o Zadarskom miru odnosi i na saveznike u ratu, Isprava o međusobnom potvrđivanju ugovorenog mira i duždeva obveza da će prisegnuti na mir, Isprava o prisezi između Ludovika i mletačkih poslanika da će se mir odnositi i na saveznike u ratu, Isprava o Ludovikovu zahtjevu i naputku svojim poslanicima, koji će otići u Veneciju i u njegovo ime zahtijevati da dužd položi prisegu na sklopljeni mir, da mu izruče kraljevo pismo o položenoj prisezi na mir i da duždu predaju gradove i posjede koji se nalaze u kraljevoj vlasti, a prema ugovoru trebaju biti vraćeni Veneciji, Isprava mletačkog dužda Ivana Delfina o proglašenju Zadarskog mira od 18. II. 1358. te Isprava dužda da Zadarski mir uključi i saveznike u prethodnom ratu piše Morski.hr

Zadarski mir naziv je za mirovni ugovor koji je sklopljen 18. veljače 1358. godine između Mletačke Republike i ugarsko-hrvatskog kralja Ludovika I. Anžuvinca, kojim se Mletačka Republika morala odreći svojih posjeda u Dalmaciji.
Zadarskim mirom prvi je put nakon kralja Zvonimira hrvatska obala sa svim svojim otocima bila oslobođena od mletačke vlasti te je Dalmacija sljedećih pola stoljeća bila dio Hrvatsko-Ugarskog Kraljevstva. U razdoblju između 1409.–1420. ponovno je došla pod vlast Mletačke Republike, piše Informator u stručnom članku o ovom povijesnom događaju piše Morski.hr
Zadar je od početka XII. stoljeća, uz kraće prekide, bio pod mletačkom vlašću i za Mlečane je, u odnosu na ostalo područje Dalmacije, bio od strateške važnosti za odvijanje trgovine. S druge strane, hrvatsko-ugarski kralj Ludovik I. Anžuvinac nije mogao obnoviti hrvatsku vlast nad Dalmacijom bez Zadra. Njegov prvi pokušaj osvajanja ovog grada 1345.–1346. bio je neuspješan i kralj je bio prisiljen sklopiti primirje s Venecijom.
Tijekom osmogodišnjeg primirja Ludovik je ojačao svoju vlast i 1356. opet je zaratio s Mlečanima, stigavši tada čak do Trevisa. Potaknuti Ludovikovim uspjesima, hrvatski knezovi u Dalmaciji pružili su mu pomoć, što je 1357. dovelo do istjerivanja Mlečana iz Splita i Trogira, a nakon toga i iz ostalih dalmatinskih gradova, Šibenika, Brača, Hvara, Dubrovnika i Korčule. Zadar je bio oslobođen 17. prosinca 1357., kada je kraljevska vojska, s pomoću konopa koje su Zadrani prebacili preko zidina, ušla u grad i istjerala Mlečane.
Potpuno poraženi Mlečani su bili prisiljeni sklopiti mir. Ipak, nisu se tek tako htjeli odreći Zadra. U prednacrtu Zadarskog mira Mlečani su Ludoviku ponudili cijelu Dalmaciju osim Zadra, a navedeno su pokušali ostvariti preko pape i cijele tadašnje političke Europe. Međutim, Ludovik nije pokleknuo. Upravo suprotno, pod uvjetima koje je u cijelosti on određivao, u sakristiji samostana sv. Frane u Zadru, sklopljen je, 18. veljače 1358., Zadarski mir. Njime su se Mlečani odrekli »prava na Dalmaciju od polovice Kvarnera do područja Drača«,uključujući gradove Nin, Zadar, Skradin, Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Dubrovnik te otoke Osor, Cres, Krk, Rab, Pag, Brač, Hvar i Korčulu. Mletački dužd morao se odreći naslova »dux Dalmatiae et Croatiae«, a Mlečani su morali napustiti Dalmaciju u roku 22 dana. Ludovik se, zauzvrat, odrekao područja oko Trevisa, Cividalea (Čedad) i u Istri, koja je osvojio 1356. Bilo je ugovoreno da obje strane oslobode zarobljenike te da se obnovi slobodno kretanje stanovnika obiju država.
Tijek pregovora, sklapanje i realizacija mira izraženo je u osam isprava: prva je Isprava iz 1357. o dogovaranju mira između mletačkih i ugarskih poslanika. Nakon nje dolaze Isprava Zadarskog mira između ugarsko-hrvatskoga kralja Ludovika I. Velikog i Venecije, Ludovikova Isprava o proglašenju da se isprava o Zadarskom miru odnosi i na saveznike u ratu, Isprava o međusobnom potvrđivanju ugovorenog mira i duždeva obveza da će prisegnuti na mir, Isprava o prisezi između Ludovika i mletačkih poslanika da će se mir odnositi i na saveznike u ratu, Isprava o Ludovikovu zahtjevu i naputku svojim poslanicima, koji će otići u Veneciju i u njegovo ime zahtijevati da dužd položi prisegu na sklopljeni mir, da mu izruče kraljevo pismo o položenoj prisezi na mir i da duždu predaju gradove i posjede koji se nalaze u kraljevoj vlasti, a prema ugovoru trebaju biti vraćeni Veneciji, Isprava mletačkog dužda Ivana Delfina o proglašenju Zadarskog mira od 18. II. 1358. te Isprava dužda da Zadarski mir uključi i saveznike u prethodnom ratu piše Morski.hr
