Ove se godine u Zadru obilježava 129 godina od završetka 56 metara visokog zvonika sv. Stošije čije je prizemlje i prvi kat  sagrađeno 1452. godine. Gornje katove gradio je 1892. godine, prema tipu zvonika u Rabu, T. G. Jackson.

Oduvijek su se uz jedan od glavnih simbola grada, do kojeg vode čak 183 stepenice, vezale tajnovite priče: tko se i kada popeo na vrh s mjedenim kipom anđela? Bila je to odlika najvećih zadarskih ‘fakina‘.

Taj opasni pothvat ipak je u Zadru započeo Talijan, Arturo Battara, koji se prije ravnih 100 godina, 1923., ne samo popeo, već je na samom vrhu završne piramide zvonika izveo - gimnastički stoj! Čak kruže legende kako je Battara imao malu ‘pomoć‘ sa strane kako bi se tim činom pokazala jačina tadašnjeg talijanskog imperija.

Fotografija talijanskog sportaša Battare na zvoniku mogla se ove godine vidjeti na izložbi u Znanstvenoj knjižnici u Zadru povodom blagdana sv. Stošije.

Nakon njega su to, prema pričama, ponovili  samo rijetki Zadrani, no fotografijama Luke Gerlanca i Jure Miškovića nesumnjivo je zabilježeno kako je taj čin zadnji na jučerašnji dan, 24.listopada, prije 13 godina, ponovio Zadranin prigodnog nadimka ‘Tica‘ .

- Nije ptica ali je Tica - uvijek se komentiralo jer se Tica više puta popeo na vrh zvonika, gdje je čak, kako se priča, u jednom navratu anđelu obukao košulju. 

Tica je to ponovio prije 13 godina na jučerašnji dan kako bi povodom Dana grada što bolje snimio doček generala Ante Gotovine na Forumu kao počasnog građanina Zadra.

Ove se godine u Zadru obilježava 129 godina od završetka 56 metara visokog zvonika sv. Stošije čije je prizemlje i prvi kat  sagrađeno 1452. godine. Gornje katove gradio je 1892. godine, prema tipu zvonika u Rabu, T. G. Jackson.

Oduvijek su se uz jedan od glavnih simbola grada, do kojeg vode čak 183 stepenice, vezale tajnovite priče: tko se i kada popeo na vrh s mjedenim kipom anđela? Bila je to odlika najvećih zadarskih ‘fakina‘.

Taj opasni pothvat ipak je u Zadru započeo Talijan, Arturo Battara, koji se prije ravnih 100 godina, 1923., ne samo popeo, već je na samom vrhu završne piramide zvonika izveo - gimnastički stoj! Čak kruže legende kako je Battara imao malu ‘pomoć‘ sa strane kako bi se tim činom pokazala jačina tadašnjeg talijanskog imperija.

Fotografija talijanskog sportaša Battare na zvoniku mogla se ove godine vidjeti na izložbi u Znanstvenoj knjižnici u Zadru povodom blagdana sv. Stošije.

Nakon njega su to, prema pričama, ponovili  samo rijetki Zadrani, no fotografijama Luke Gerlanca i Jure Miškovića nesumnjivo je zabilježeno kako je taj čin zadnji na jučerašnji dan, 24.listopada, prije 13 godina, ponovio Zadranin prigodnog nadimka ‘Tica‘ .

- Nije ptica ali je Tica - uvijek se komentiralo jer se Tica više puta popeo na vrh zvonika, gdje je čak, kako se priča, u jednom navratu anđelu obukao košulju. 

Tica je to ponovio prije 13 godina na jučerašnji dan kako bi povodom Dana grada što bolje snimio doček generala Ante Gotovine na Forumu kao počasnog građanina Zadra.
