Pola je stoljeća prošlo od jedinstvenog globalnog košarkaškog fenomena. Sredinom sedamdesetih godina prošloga stoljeća Jugoslavija se dičila uvjerljivo najsnažnijom europskom klupskom košarkaškom ligom; briljirali su: Zadar, Jugoplastika, Partizan, Crvena zvezda, Olimpija, Bosna, Rabotnički i Lokomotiva.

Pa ipak, unatoč silnoj konkurenciji, legendarna momčad s razglednice Donatova grada, predvođena mitskim dvojcem – Krešom Ćosićem i Pinom Giergiom - u sezoni 74/75 trijumfirala je u čak 25 od 26 utakmica! Poraženi su tek od Jugoplastike, protiv koje zbog ozljede nije igrao veliki Pino.

Riječ je odista o jedinstvenom globalnom fenomenu – ekipi stasaloj u Zadru koji je tada brojao manje stanovnika od kvarta bilo koje metropole i čija su dvojica igrača izabrana u prvu petorku Europe! Prava avangarda. Otud i čuvena krilatica: Bog je stvorija čovika, a Zadar košarku!

U čast spomenutog doba ponosa i slave, gerilska ekipa zadarskih kreativaca, koja u čast neprežaljenoga Kreše Ćosića djeluje pod kodnim imenom Z/11, udružila se s Tomislavom Bralićem i isporučila navijačku pjesmu Kameni brod (1974/75). U pripadajućem spotu živi je spomenik zadarskoj košarci – veliki Pino Giergia – koji se sa osamdeset i sedam ljeta na plećima – uspravio s loptom u ruci.

Uz Pina, u spotu se pojavljuju čak četvorica igrača iz legendarne ekipe: Branko Skroče, Ćiro Perinčić, Zdravko Jerak i Branko Šuljak. Kroz nisku razglednica i malih mediteranskih epizoda, spot kazuje o vremenima beskonačno udaljenima od ovih današnjih, gdje se tuđina nameće pohlepom – u zakon tržišta traljavo umotanom – surovo vladajući nad zakonom ljudskosti.

Nitko iole upućen neće reći da je prije bilo idealno, daleko od toga, no bilo je više duha zajedništva i empatije, romantike, vica i identiteta.

Pola je stoljeća prošlo od jedinstvenog globalnog košarkaškog fenomena. Sredinom sedamdesetih godina prošloga stoljeća Jugoslavija se dičila uvjerljivo najsnažnijom europskom klupskom košarkaškom ligom; briljirali su: Zadar, Jugoplastika, Partizan, Crvena zvezda, Olimpija, Bosna, Rabotnički i Lokomotiva.

Pa ipak, unatoč silnoj konkurenciji, legendarna momčad s razglednice Donatova grada, predvođena mitskim dvojcem – Krešom Ćosićem i Pinom Giergiom - u sezoni 74/75 trijumfirala je u čak 25 od 26 utakmica! Poraženi su tek od Jugoplastike, protiv koje zbog ozljede nije igrao veliki Pino.

Riječ je odista o jedinstvenom globalnom fenomenu – ekipi stasaloj u Zadru koji je tada brojao manje stanovnika od kvarta bilo koje metropole i čija su dvojica igrača izabrana u prvu petorku Europe! Prava avangarda. Otud i čuvena krilatica: Bog je stvorija čovika, a Zadar košarku!

U čast spomenutog doba ponosa i slave, gerilska ekipa zadarskih kreativaca, koja u čast neprežaljenoga Kreše Ćosića djeluje pod kodnim imenom Z/11, udružila se s Tomislavom Bralićem i isporučila navijačku pjesmu Kameni brod (1974/75). U pripadajućem spotu živi je spomenik zadarskoj košarci – veliki Pino Giergia – koji se sa osamdeset i sedam ljeta na plećima – uspravio s loptom u ruci.

Uz Pina, u spotu se pojavljuju čak četvorica igrača iz legendarne ekipe: Branko Skroče, Ćiro Perinčić, Zdravko Jerak i Branko Šuljak. Kroz nisku razglednica i malih mediteranskih epizoda, spot kazuje o vremenima beskonačno udaljenima od ovih današnjih, gdje se tuđina nameće pohlepom – u zakon tržišta traljavo umotanom – surovo vladajući nad zakonom ljudskosti.

Nitko iole upućen neće reći da je prije bilo idealno, daleko od toga, no bilo je više duha zajedništva i empatije, romantike, vica i identiteta.
